Their arrival point on the destination island would be random. Each of them scattered across unknown and potentially perilous terrain. There was no telling what they might run into upon landing: monsters, enemy forces, or the island's brutal, unforgiving environment. Whatever it was, they had to be ready.
Atlas turned to address the entire group.
"Cast all buff skills and ready your weapons," he ordered. "This island is likely volcanic, so we should be prepared for extreme heat and rugged conditions. But no matter what we face, we adapt."
The magic circles around them began to expand. One by one, each team member was engulfed by a blinding burst of light.
The shift was immediate.
A sudden pull from the summoning magic wrapped around their bodies, bending time and space in an instant. The transition was swift. But the moment the air hit their skin, something felt wrong.
The temperature wasn't blistering.
It was freezing cold!
