Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: The Sword Domain Revelation

Chang Le'an shouted loudly.

Li Shuang cast him a calm, indifferent glance.

That single look seemed to pierce straight into his heart, as if she could see all the secrets buried within.

Chang Le'an subconsciously fell silent.

"Only dirty people use dirty thoughts to judge others," Luo Mingyue snapped, glaring at him.

Chang Le'an's face twisted, but he stiffened his neck and said,"So many people are watching. A Qi Condensation disciple defeating someone at the mid-Foundation Establishment stage so easily—who could believe that? In my opinion, Li Shuang bribed her opponent to deliberately lose!"

Li Shuang hadn't spoken yet, but Shi Chuyun could no longer contain herself.

She gritted her teeth and said sharply,"Senior Brother Chang! This was the very first time Senior Sister Li and I ever spoke. How could I possibly be bribed? I am a disciple of the Law Enforcement Hall. If you have evidence, I will go with you to the hall right now! If I have truly done anything to disgrace the sect, I am willing to accept any punishment. But if you have no evidence, then you must apologize to me!"

Shi Chuyun's voice trembled with both grievance and anger. She had already lost the fight—yet now her integrity was being slandered.

Chang Le'an's expression froze. He had been so focused on attacking Li Shuang that he forgot his words also implicated Shi Chuyun.

And Shi Chuyun was not just anyone. She belonged to the Law Enforcement Hall, whose disciples were notoriously united. Insulting one was often the same as provoking them all.

As expected—

The crowd parted, and Jiang Yunge stepped forward. Her voice was calm yet commanding:"My Law Enforcement Hall is responsible for the laws and discipline of the sect. Justice, fairness, and self-restraint are the principles we abide by. Since Junior Brother Chang has raised doubts, for the sake of my hall's reputation, I must ask you to come and explain yourself clearly."

"Jiang Yunge!"

Chang Le'an's face twisted with anger.

That day at Lingxu Peak, it was Jiang Yunge who had punished Zhao Zhao. If she had been just a little more lenient, Zhao Zhao wouldn't have been so seriously injured.

But instead, Jiang Yunge had enforced the law ruthlessly, leaving Zhao Zhao bedridden for days.

The memory made his fury boil over. He snapped,"Say what you want! What, are you from the Law Enforcement Hall so arrogant? Let me tell you—Shi Chuyun isn't the only one who could be bribed. Senior Sister Jiang, you've probably been bribed by Li Shuang too! Otherwise, why would you deliberately beat Zhao Zhao so cruelly that day?"

The words exploded from his mouth.

Li Shuang was momentarily stunned.

She had always known Chang Le'an to be reckless and impulsive. Back at Lingxu Peak, she often kept him under control, preventing him from offending others.

Now, without restraint, his flaws were on full display.

Offending Shi Chuyun was one thing; a sincere apology might have settled it. But now, after Jiang Yunge intervened, he had gone so far as to insult her too.

Jiang Yunge wasn't just any disciple—she was one of the most respected figures of her generation in the Law Enforcement Hall.

What possible benefit could Chang Le'an gain from provoking her?

Li Shuang's brows furrowed in puzzlement.

What was Lingxu Peak thinking? Had they lived too comfortably, that they were now intent on making enemies everywhere?

Even Ye Zhaozhao was bewildered. She tugged his sleeve anxiously."Third Brother! Senior Sister Jiang was only doing her duty. How could she be targeting us—"

"Zhaozhao!" Chang Le'an cut her off with a snort. "You spoke up for Li Shuang before, and now you're speaking up for Jiang Yunge. You're far too naive, completely blind to the malice of the world. Let me be clear: Li Shuang and Jiang Yunge conspired together! I've even recorded everything with a Photo Stone. If you're not convinced, I'll hand it to the Law Enforcement Hall and let them judge whether this fight was real or not!"

Jiang Yunge's eyes turned icy cold."Very well. Since there is a Photo Stone, that will make matters easier."

Ye Zhaozhao's eyes flickered, but she stayed silent.

In truth, even she had felt Li Shuang's victory was suspicious. Perhaps letting Chang Le'an stir things up could bring them unexpected advantages.

"Sister Jiang, if Senior Sister Li cheated, I am willing to confront her in the hall face to face," Shi Chuyun said firmly.

Li Shuang nodded. "I will also go."

"Hmph! Keep up the act while you can," Chang Le'an sneered. "When the truth comes out, you'll both be punished! And I hope this time, Senior Sister Jiang will be as ruthless with Li Shuang as she was with Zhao Zhao."

Jiang Yunge only gave him a frosty look.

She had no personal ties to Li Shuang. Ever since the Lingxu Peak incident, she had merely felt that Li Shuang had been wronged, and so she enforced the law impartially. She had never acted out of favoritism.

But seeing Chang Le'an's shamelessness, she couldn't help but feel a faint sympathy for Li Shuang.

After all, surviving in such an unreasonable sect was no easy task.

Even so, bias was bias.As a Law Enforcement disciple, she would still let the rules decide right and wrong.

Excited murmurs spread among the crowd. Many Sword Sect disciples followed curiously, eager to see the truth of the duel revealed.

In the Law Enforcement Hall, a deacon in the Spirit Transformation stage accepted Chang Le'an's complaint.

"Deacon Lin, this fight was definitely staged! We have a Photo Stone as proof!" Chang Le'an declared, handing it over.

Shi Chuyun clenched her fists. "I don't know how Senior Sister Li achieved it, but I gave my all in that fight!"

Li Shuang thought for a moment before calmly explaining,"On the stage, I unleashed a sword domain. Within that domain, every move became crystal clear to me. That is how I was able to penetrate Junior Sister Shi's technique."

"Sword domain?" Chang Le'an immediately scoffed. "What sword domain? Don't make me laugh! You've never even heard of such a thing, and yet you dare—"

"Silence!"

A sharp rebuke cut through the hall.

Chang Le'an froze, stunned.

The deacon who had been casual only moments ago was now staring at Li Shuang in shock."You mean… a sword domain?"

Li Shuang nodded. "Yes."

Deacon Lin's lips trembled.

Impossible.

How could this be?

Li Shuang was barely in her thirties—her cultivation journey had only just begun.

Yet she had already condensed a sword domain?

He himself had formed his Nascent Soul at fifty and reached Spirit Transformation by a hundred. Within the sect, that was considered talented.

But even he had never been able to form a sword domain.

Legends said that only when one's sword comprehension reached its absolute limit could a swordsman naturally condense their own domain.

If Li Shuang truly had…

Then in sword comprehension alone, she had already surpassed him.

Had their Sword Sect produced such a peerless genius?

No… no, he had to confirm it.

Deacon Lin's hands shook as he activated the Photo Stone.
