After leaving the castle the trio sneaked their way onto the busy street and escaped Into the night. They didn't tell Arthur they were going out. All this had just been Lizzy's sudden idea, unfortunately things don't always go as planned, they were soon met with a tough crowd and couldn't go forward or backward. Lizzy carried Dan on her shoulder and held no one's hand least they should be separated.
We might as well call it quits and wait for the fireworks here, Lizzy said somewhat giving up hope. Dan on the other hand was restless, as far as he could tell the outing was going fine, he had never seen many people not mentioning so many people in one place, even though it was night time the street was fairly lit, they were orbs like balls floating in the sky, Dan thought they were controlled by magic.The street stalls at the ends of the street were making a killing with the stuck crowd trying their hardest to squeeze money out of the people unable to move and it was working wonders.
No one secretly looked around, and surely she spots people from the organization around, she didn't alert Lizzy cause they weren't making a move even though they could obviously see her, her only guess was that it's cause of Lizzy. As long as they're not trying to pick a fight means they're either scared of Lizzy or the organization didn't give them an order for attack.
Oh! Suddenly yelled Lizzy, the crowd is moving, thank goodness and here I was thinking we would spend the night here.
Dan being the tallest of the group seeing as he was on Lizzy's shoulder confirmed that the crowd was indeed moving, slowly but surely. It took about thirty minutes for them to reach a wide area where the crowd parted a little and they could freely move around. Lizzy brought Dan down and stretched.
Wow, it's been a long time since I've been here uh. She said admist stretches, where was my favorite store again, she said frantically looking around. Oh Found it! she soon yelled, she grabbed Dan and no 1 by their wrist and started pulling them half way across the square.
You've gotta try this Dan, Lizzy said smiling brightly, he sells the best meat on sticks I've ever had, I don't know what they're called so I'll just call it that. Lizzy told the kids.
Hey mister! Hey mister! Lizzy called fighting through the people at the front of the shop. At the sight of her they gave way instantly. The shopkeeper spotted them and with a wide grin, yelled back , what's queen Lizzy doing here? At this words the entire street seemed to grow silent. There were little silent talks here and there.
One said, who it really is Lizzy.
Another yelled, Lizzy! Over here I have the best meat on the street right now.
Another, Lizzy! I've got crabs incrabs Incase you're Interested.
Soon the street soon became filled with people calling her from all sides. Lizzy nervously turned them all down with nexttimes and I'll be back.
So mister, Lizzy turned to face the man selling the meats on sticks, I'll have six sticks pls.

King Arthur you sly dog, gard said with a booming laugh.
No actually the boy is my son and the girl is a friend of his, Lizzy corrected clearly flushed.

Hush, Lizzy hastily Interrupted him, can't you see he's too young for those your jokes.Dan and one say hi to mister.

Hello mister, Dan said brightly while one nodded slightly.
See you've infected your son too, also the girl is a bit on the quiet side isn't she?
She's just hungry, Lizzy shrugged. Now less talking and start handing over those meat sticks I'm drooling at this point.
With quick reflexes like a very old and experienced chef, they sticks were all ready to go, Lizzy gave one each to Dan and one. No one questioned why Lizzy bought six, both Dan and Gard knew she was a big eater and the remaining four were for her.
Lizzy dropped a few gold coins on the table took her sticks and proceeded to leave when Gard called for her to come back.
Whoa he yelled, Lizzy was taken by surprise, is it not enough how many more do I need to add she said as she handed Dan and one the sticks she was holding and started looking through her pockets for more gold coins.
No that's not the problem Gard said, calming her down, you always do this you know even one gold coin is able to buy my shop six times and here you are dropping six is it wise to waste funds like this, also I was willing to give you those sticks on the house I mean you're the kingdoms queen but you just had to pay so quickly.
You don't need to worry about that, Lizzy said, my funds doesn't come from this kingdoms treasury I have my own horde of gold, also good meat should be appreciated she said taking a stick from Dan and wolfing down it's content, just think of it as thanks for providing good meat, she said waving the empty stick as they walked away.
Dan took a bite from his share of the meat tapped him mum and requested another.
I think one would like to get one too, Dan said pointing at her for some reason both her sticks and they once Lizzy had given to her had vanished.
Soon they were all walking with their hands full of meat sticks, Dan kept asking him mum questions about how the words were made and maintained, Lizzy not knowing much about the mechanisms behind it deliberately distracted him with a man selling balloons. Dan being simple immediately forgot his previous questions and ran to meet the man immediately. After getting Dan and one balloons they started walking down the street again to the place where the peak of the festival was to be held.
What surprised Dan was that everybody seemed to know his mum from what he had read in books was that kings and queens were treated with respect and often feared, but for some reason everyone treated him mum walking around the kingdom unguarded was a normal thing. And they fact that they all seemed to like her and spoke to her informally constantly clashed with the knowledge he has had of queens in his head.
So one what do you think of the outing so far? Lizzy asked looking at the night sky filled with stars.
I think you're being reckless, no said also looking at the sky. Which queen walks around unprotected and careless around a densely packed place even though she's strong she should at least have thought about your kid.
Whoa, Lizzy gasped you're awfully honest aren't you, Lizzy laughed. I didn't think any kid would have such a matured thought.
Protection? What are you guys talking about, Dan asked feeling left out, isn't mum here with us? Isn't she enough.

Well it's about time, Lizzy said with a soft grin.There was a blue streak in the sky soon more followed all around they swirled seems to collide then pass each other by few inches they met in the sky and with a huge bang they brust I to different colours illuminating the kingdom with bright colours. Lizzy looked down at one who was obviously completely mesmerized by the colours Dan too. Lizzy then said in a way so only one could hear.
As you can see, no one has attacked as long as I'm with you you're safe, no let me rephrase as long as you've been brought from Amag you're never going back, ignore the rats in the street and just focus on moving forward. You're free now. You'll soon be given a job as atonement for the things Amag have made you do these past four years. From now on you're free.
There was a light trickle of tears that ran down one face for a moment. She wiped it off with the back of her palm, she had now truly understand why the agents were there but not attacking. It was a battle lost before it even began, it was like they couldn't even do anything but watch me from the side lines. This makes me all confused, one person, all this cause of a single entity, her presence alone seemed to tame Amag to it's core.
As the started heading back Dan seemed to be stumbling a lot, Lizzy carried him on her arm and let him sleep. The street seemed less crowded than it was when they first came, though people still call Lizzy from the side of the street she just waved them and kept walking...as more and more people noticed Dan in her arms fast asleep they toned down the noise and let her pass then continued after she was some feet's away.

I believe he's too innocent for this world he's brought to live in he doesn't know danger, one responded.

No infact I think it's normal to have some ideas of danger whatsoever, I mean he approached a killer in a courtroom, isn't that going too far as far as ignorance goes.

Oh no, you'll have to stay here with Dan for the night or maybe we'll just have you guys share a room. But that'll be decided tomorrow, Goodnight one, Lizzy sang Merrily as she shut the door.
What kind of careless mother is that, one taught to herself.
