Chapter 75 - Chapter 75

"Fuck," Antrea cursed, turning heavily into the jagged dirt. She groaned, forcing her bruised body up onto her knees while anchoring one trembling hand against her bleeding gut.

She lifted her head, her hazy, blood-shot vision trying to track the god-level cataclysm unfolding before her. Since leaving Earth, they had hopped through multiple dimensions in a frantic blur, her pocket world of fire failing to hold out for even a few minutes under the sheer pressure of the battle. The terrain they were currently occupying was a surreal, hostile expanse of twisted metal, jagged rocks, and massive crystalline diamonds that stretched out into infinity.

And hundreds of miles away across this brutal landscape, Cyra was single-handedly giving Malakor absolute hell.

*She's a fucking juggernaut!* Malakor thought frantically as he once again evaded her descending blade by a mere hair's breadth.

Cyra's strength was shooting up exponentially without showing a single sign of slowing down. She covered the massive distance between them in a flash, executing a brutal vertical strike with her weapon. Malakor raised his arms, attempting to parry the momentum, but the massive blade vanished entirely from her hands mid-swing. Before he could adjust, Cyra's mana-reinforced fist connected squarely with his mechanical jaw, the impact sending him tearing through the terrain like a rogue wrecking ball.

Malakor violently forced himself to regain his balance mid-air, though his celestial vision blurred from the concussive force. *She fundamentally cannot bypass my conceptual immortality layers to permanently damage me without that specific blade,* he reasoned, trying to steady his thoughts. *But what on earth is with this absurd physical strength?!*

As his eyes snapped back into focus, he found himself staring right down the barrel of another fist sitting mere inches away from his face.

*BOOM!*

The resulting shockwave literally tore through the structural integrity of the planet, fracturing the diamond-studded ground as Malakor was sent flying backward through a sequence of crystalline mountains. Cyra didn't let up for a single fraction of a second. Her blunt-tipped blade materialized right beside her; she leaped onto the flat of the steel, using it like a high-velocity flying board as it shot through the air after him like a railgun round.

*I'll have to use it again...* Malakor thought rapidly, his teeth grinding as the momentum from her punch refused to slow down, forcing him deeper into the shattering world.

"I'm sorry, Thranduil," Antrea muttered under her breath, her fingers wrapping tightly around the artificial horns gripping her skull. "I don't think I can truly fight with this dead weight anymore."

With a sharp, fluid jerk, she tore the vanity pieces off her head and tossed them carelessly into the dirt. She stretched her slender legs, a series of deep, violent cracks echoing from her spine as she realigned her bones. Standing perfectly still in the shifting wind, her gaze locked onto the horizon.

Hundreds of miles away, the god and the hero clashed. Malakor's hand shot through the blinding debris, intercepting Cyra mid-dash and clamping his fingers viciously around her neck. He raised his opposite palm, a concentrated, pitch-black beam of divine light igniting inches from her face. But before the blast could erase her, Cyra's blunt-tipped blade materialized out of thin air, slamming between them with the force of a tectonic plate and violently breaking his grip.

Before Malakor could even regain his footing in the air, a localized distortion of gravity caught him dead in the gut. The fabric of the dimension ruptured yet again. The metallic, diamond-streaked sky melted away, replaced instantaneously by a suffocatingly dense, primeval forest under a bruised, twilight sky.

Malakor crashed through the canopy, shattering ancient, massive trunks before stabilizing himself. He rose, holding his throbbing head, only to be greeted by a sight that made the divine ichor in his veins run cold.

"You know, aside from your layers of conceptual invulnerability, you are significantly weaker than foes I've fought in the lower realms," Antrea's voice rang directly inside his consciousness, cold, detached, and echoing with absolute authority.

He stared directly at her. Antrea's eyes were no longer human; her pupils had dissolved into twin voids of dark, wriggling, and constantly shifting threads of pure cosmic horror. Her massive, pitch-black wings uncoiled behind her, expanding until they looked like the jagged jaws of a leviathan closing around the entire sky, blocking out the twilight.

"You're in for a world of pain," she whispered, her lips curling into a predatory smile. "I'll finally show you why I am considered a true Fallen."

*I was absolutely certain I inflicted a fatal wound to her vitals,* Malakor's mind raced, his star-like eyes tracking the sheer volume of dark aura radiating from her. *Did I make an error in my calculations?* Before he could process the thought, space warped. He was violently yanked backward by his cream-colored hair and flung across the horizon, his body acting as a kinetic missile that leveled a massive, three-mile swath of the ancient forest.

Down in a clearing of shattered timber, Cyra landed heavily on her feet. Crimson blood trickled steadily from her nose, staining her lips, but her closed eyes never wavered. Antrea eyed her condition from high in the sky before dropping down beside her.

Unlike most mortal prodigies, Cyra's hero-state didn't possess catastrophic magical drawbacks—the only limit was the durability of her own physical vessel. And even then, the conceptual nature of her crest simply wouldn't allow her body to rest or collapse until the designated foe was erased from existence.

"She must have taken an immense amount of internal damage," Antrea analyzed silently. Turning to the hero, she spoke aloud, "Cyra, do not engage in close quarters for now. Start charging that world-cleaving attack of yours. I'll drive that bastard directly into a corner for you to strike." Antrea paused, glancing at the silent girl. "Can you even understand me right now?"

*Of course I can,* Cyra's thoughts echoed in the quietest chambers of her own mind.

Whenever she drew the legendary blade, the chaotic chatter of the world died. Her mind became a vast, silent ocean. She couldn't speak, but she could see it all—the entire battlefield was mapped out in a perfect matrix of glowing grids and leylines. She saw the true, vulnerable color of souls, the shifting vectors guiding each upcoming attack, the raw mana humming in the atmosphere, and the burning crimson of enemy intent. The sheer volume of information flooding her brain was beautiful. Speaking would break her absolute concentration. The blade kept her calm; when she held it, she was no longer a chatterbox. She was an executioner.

**[ SKILL ACTIVATED — WARLORD ]**

A golden, tyrannical aura erupted from Cyra's skin, the ambient air pressure flattening the surrounding trees into the dirt as she planted her boots and began drawing every ounce of mana from the pocket dimension into her steel.

"I never thought I would experience this much structural difficulty trying to retrieve a few basic specimens," Malakor said calmly, drifting down from the upper atmosphere. The massive trench he had carved through the forest was still smoking, but his human flesh was stitching itself back together. "I suppose I was fortunate to have come myself rather than sending lower-tier goons. But playtime officially ends now. I'll—"

**[ ANGEL'S AUTHORITY: SPEAKING IS ONLY PERMITTED BY ME ]**

Malakor's jaw snapped shut. The divine frequencies in his throat were violently severed by a conceptual law dropped onto the area. His words were cut completely short.

Antrea smiled savagely. She lifted her hand, and the gravitational field around Malakor inverted, dragging his divine body across the sky directly into her outstretched grasp. Her fingers locked around his throat like iron cuffs.

"You failed the absolute moment you tried to drag out a war of attrition against an Angel," she whispered, her voice vibrating with malice as her dark, wriggling eyes stared into his panic-stricken pupils. "For a fragile god like you... killing me with the very first blow was your only real shot."

**[ ANGEL'S AUTHORITY: DARK RADIANCE ]**

A cataclysmic mushroom cloud of dark smoke and pulverized dust erupted into the upper atmosphere, violently boring a jagged hole straight through the bleeding red sky. The concussive shockwave of the blast uprooted thousands of ancient trees, tossing them into the air like twigs, while violent, erratic arcs of crimson lightning relentlessly assaulted the burning forest.

Through the sheer, blinding chaos, Cyra didn't move an inch. Standing like an unyielding statue in the center of a flattening clearing, she kept her golden, tyrannical energy perfectly in check, funneling every scrap of ambient mana into her mountain-sized blade.

A massive, freezing gust of wind swept through the rapidly emptying pocket world as the smoke parted, revealing a horrific sight.

Malakor was hovering in the air, his slender fingers locked like a hydraulic vise around Antrea's throat.

"You act all big, but in the end... you are just a fragile fowl," his mechanical mouth creaked and groaned, the sound of scraping metal echoing over the thunder. The twin stars in his eyes began to roll and spin erratically as they locked completely onto Antrea's wriggling, threaded pupils. "I will show you what true power looks like."

Suddenly, his shadow detached itself from the ground. It began expanding exponentially, morphing into a sentient, ink-black void that started eating the very fabric of the world Antrea had created at a rapid, terrifying pace.

*I... I can't look away,* Antrea thought frantically, her mind screaming as her gaze remained forcefully trapped by his star-like eyes. *What is this... this suffocating, oppressive force?* Her entire body froze solid under his iron grasp, her cellular structure refusing to obey her commands.

From the depths of his expanding shadow, grotesque, titanic silhouettes began to emerge—monsters and legendary abominations dredged up from the deepest pits of the underworld.

Malakor's eyes narrowed into cruel slits as he looked back down at her slowly. If he possessed a mouth, Antrea was absolutely certain he would be smiling from ear to ear right now. With a casual flick of his wrist, he tossed Antrea's paralyzed body through the air, sending her crashing directly toward the feet of a particularly massive, powerful creature.

The entity loomed over her like a mountain of pure malice. It possessed a single, colossal eye in the center of its face, and its pupil held the distinct, glowing shape of a perfect hexagon.

"I slaughtered him a few thousand years ago," Malakor said slowly, his voice dripping with ancient, venomous pride. "He is one of the very few trophies I still bother to possess."

He gestured coldly to the towering, one-eyed nightmare as Antrea lay completely petrified and helpless beneath its shadow.

"Meet Satan."
