Inequality , that could probably be a good reason to give up your hopes or dreams, the moment we believe that they see what i saw, is the moment that they will begin to condemn themselves for even trying hard for achieving hagemony in the first place, since why would ambition be able to sprout when it's thrown into a barren land of despair .
The moment a person beginning to think like this he will be already dooming himself , not to mention the whole population of a planet who have lived in different regions with their own different yet quite versatile characteristic who only have this world as what was holding them together and maybe even that Shard they all want to get their hands on may also be having an important role in keeping this world at balance .
The other reason that i believed this third option might really be the correct one is that i don't believe so many people who witnessed what i witnessed to be still able to live their lives normally as before witnessing that scene .
And how could they, i can somehow guess that most of the powerful guys here believed that they are able to do whatever they want after reaching and achieving a certain cope of strength, so the moment they witness that adversary who was capable of swallowing the stars, all their arrogance will dissipate .
And why wouldn't they, they had already wasted most of their lifetimes thinking that there were no more opponents for them, most of them believed themselves to be unbeatable and incomparable to other, so seeing something like that may hurt the arrogance and pride of their or more likely to completely shatter it .
Since an enemy they can't dream to go even near him without dying appeared, completely crushing them in both strength and valor leaving them completely vulnerable .
But there will always be a few who will still to challenge all of these waves of blockades in their way and will use such a scene to aim for a higher realm of strength, to be really able to bear the title of the strongest or at least one of, if they survived such an encounter of course .
So that still raises the problem of whether should i spread this information around, or it will be better for it to stay hidden with me .
Some will be able to use such information to rejuvenate their fighting spirits and fuel their hopes and ambitions of reaching that realms of strength, but some on the other hand will fall in complete despair and may even losing the will in continuing to live on .
Some would still not care and go through their lives as they have always did, completely benefiting from the proverb back at my old world : IGNORANCE IS A BLISS .
I believe keeping this secret with me to be the best course of action, sometimes spreading too much knowledge could become more endangering than the content of the said knowledge itself .
And i somehow find it hard for them to believe me in the first place, if i didn't see it for myself i would have probably felt the same, so It is better not to delve into these matters with anyone else for the time being at least .
And for some reason, i keep on thinking that i'm not the only one out here with kind of knowledge at hand, The Bloodlords, The Demons, The Monsters and who knows who else might very much have bits of these kind of information, if not more clearly throughly explained ones, even the Beastfolk and the Elves might have some on their hands .
The question that kept forcing itself on my mind was about how much stronger do someone need to be before being able to contend against that blue gigantic creature in the space and was he even the biggest fish out there or were there even bigger fish than him out there and how could a person achieve such a great feats of strength .
Arrrgggghh, my newly upgraded mind was beginning to ache once again from all these crazy contemplation over mysteries and secrets , how did it all come to this, i'm not even sure of what was going on the planet itself and now i will have to began worrying about what is happening outside of the planet as well .
I was only a normal highschool student a few days ago and here i'm currently thinking how to save a planet, from being eaten by a space adversary, but why didn't he follow me into the planet or just swallowed the planet whole was me in it was still quite a mystery , another one sadly .
I can tell that at least he didn't do this, as even with this weird atmosphere around me and the crimson moon or maybe sun and also the sky, but from the reactions of the inhabitants here, it's still appearing to be quite normal around here .
Not that i would be able to guess how the sky would have become, if we actually were to be swallowed by that huge guy out there, but at least believe that they would have been at least some clues or traces of it happening .
13 founding families , i guess those guys were also the first members to arrive together with Blazan and i believe them to be the guys who waged war against the kingdom of Animagia too , if what Laura said was true .
Then that could only mean that in the founding period of that kingdom, it wasn't even counting as one but just a merely occupied piece of land, but the moment that Blazan came to power, all this changed and it really marked the beginning of this kingdom's actual founding period .
It didn't take that long before it began clashing more frequently and more fiercely with the kingdom and the people of Animagia, which resulted in the current weird state of the land and its distribution .
With these guys really coming from the Real World and not to mention them having the backing of the Demon King behind them, making them a force to be reckoned with , the minimum strength cap that i believed those guys had was at least SS Rank .
Not to mention the possibility of them having weird techniques like the one used by that Bloodlord from before, on the premise of them being from the Real World he mentioned, all of these components enabled them in making this kingdom, also i don't know exactly how the kingdom of Animagia able to survive the onslaught of such a huge enemy all that long and on their own too, this alone forced me to acknowledge their relentless efforts and strong resilience .
Even though they were still being considered to have lost the war by most of the people, i don't that to be actually true, since if i was recalling the details of the map in the Adventurer's Guild correctly, i can pretty much claim that Animagia was the kingdom that won .
Just from the fact of how small of an area the kingdom of Diblosia had under its jurisdiction was still quite insignificant in compared to the land under Animagia , so even with such an overwhelming advantage in strength on Diblosia part, they were still unable to continue expanding the area under their reign, not even with 13 SS strength ranked demons with who know how much special abilities in their possession .
But wait a minute, if those guys were all demons steming from the same origin to the point that they became known as the 13 founding families, then shouldn't that so-called king Devos be steming from one of those 13 families, why the weird phrasing then, am i just overthinking it .
These days i'm overthinking everything no matter how small or large the piece of information i got, i'm analysing it throughly over and over and over until my curiosity towards it get to be completely satisfied, i believed this to be a pros of my increased comprehension, or was it a con , i wonder .
Another shocking discovery would be the existence of this whole kingdom itself, a kingdom completely under the rule of external demons, what were these Demons even, are they anything like the Demons in my old world comic or games, those with horns and black wings and want nothing but wreck havoc wherever they were .
But then why would they even settle on making a kingdom here in first place, the objective they came here for didn't require that from them , did it ?.
The only possible explanation that i have for this currently is that they did it so they can be able to interact more freely with the people here, but i was somewhat dumbfounded on why would they even need to do that, but deciding to steal the land of another kingdom might be a bad way to start, but it might have been what they wanted to achieve from the start .
Building a whole kingdom to be the center of the operation is already mind-blowing enough, but giving it enough support to the point that even a bandit here is an S Rank figure is what quite shocked me to the core, but if they had that much accessibility to begin with, then what could be the role which the kingdom of Troland had in all of this and what exactly our role in all of this .
We were told that we were summoned here to supposedly kill a Demon King, one who as i have recently find out, was already in a corporative relation with the crown prince and was pretty much the one controlling everything that happened on the kingdom from behind the scenes .
The last monster's raid have already confirmed that, but then why would they stop there, why not instead of settling in Diblosia, they instead took a liking in settling in the kingdom of Troland .
Or they could have chosen both even , what could possibly be stopping them, were they afraid of something, the retaliation from the Shard's Will or something alike, or was it for a complete different purpose, what were they exactly planning on doing .
Right, didn't that gang leader previously said that he arrived on the last batch to here, doesn't this mean that there were previous batches of Demons and their younglings coming here, there is also the possibility of being there a lot more of these batches to come .
I'm wondering if the population of this kingdom were currently consisting mostly of demons, quite probably i believe .
But after the initial shock from finding out that a new population had already settled on this piece of land and from the looks of it, they did so silently and discreetly too, the most troublesome thing about this new population of demons, was that they most likely bore an ill intention towards each and every living thing on this land .
Then something like this must certainly raise not a few amount of questions but the most spot on question would be : how could they possibly be able to do that ?.
Wasn't there some sort of a ban on those who were out there to enter here, that Bloodlord said that he used a clone as his incarnation, could the demons be using the same method, or were they able to find another way, i don't know why but i felt that it was most likely connected to the crimson sky around here in somehow .
How were they able something like that off and right under the ears and noses of all the people who lived in this land too, once again i can't understand why would they need so many people if their only objective was to find the whereabouts of the Shard and claim it for themselves .
All these kind of thoughts kept circling in my brain in period of few seconds at most and when i woke up from the trance that i was in, i'm quite surprised to feel a sudden vibration coming from the direction of the two guys who were currently standing opposite to each other .
The guy who acted as a mighty figure before was currently laying on the ground while opening his mouth and closing it, in what i presumed to be him panting and his vibrations readings were as if he was already dying, so the other guy took a few steps towards him and began to help him .
He helped him heal from whatever he was suffering from and raised him up from the ground and then removed whatever he used before to remove the sound around the area, i felt it even with my eyes being tighly shut .
He gave his comrades from the law enforcement team the permission to open their eyes but didn't do the same for the bandits on the ground, then he began to say in a now audible and clear reprimanding voice :
The Dorell's family members are getting weaker and weaker, you can't even let your totem's aura take corporal form, useless .
His whole respectful tone from before disappeared and instead his voice was now cold not as before but still cold and from his words it was apperant that he wasn't impressed with the fellow in front of him, it could be my imagination but his tone had some bits of resentment hidden deep in it .
The one being reprimanded was now coughing, i wasn't sure of whether he was acting like this embarrassingly or was he still suffering from his previous injuries, but the coughing didn't continue as he once again steadied himself and said :
Sorry for the pitiful show just now, but i'm an illegitimate son of the family in the end, but that's no reason for you to resent our Dorell family, there are tons of guys that are way powerful than me in the family, people powerful enough to be in the service of the king and acknowledged by even the people there, possibly just like your esteemed self .
After saying this he get back to the business at hand as he continued to say :
Now, that i have confirmed my identity, could you please allow us to leave, we still have some other matters to attend to and i don't even know why are you stopping us in the first place, we already paid our share of mana Stones to roam the land free .
The tone he spoke with appeared to be quite polite, but in reality it wasn't, he was now more courageous in speaking his mind, since he knew that have the capital to do so but his courageous show wasn't to the liking of the said law enforcement leader .
He snort at the first and second part of the words that the Dorell family member spoke and said with quite an aggressive tone that almost signaled the beginning rise of a conflict between the two :
You mud blooded are acting so courageous for someone that hadn't been able to even control his totem's aura yet, stop thinking that by using your family's status you will be able to suppress me, a punny illegitimate son like you if dead, won't be able to make any sort of waves, at least not ones enough for your family to demand retribution .
Don't mention you, even if the one who lost his life was a direct descendant of the family, without orders from the other side, they will still be conservative from making any sudden moves until orders from the higher ups came, which mean that even if i decided to finish you off here and now, your so-called family won't even pat an eye, so remove your arrogant attitude you know best than most of those who are here that your family's status won't do you much, here .
The body of the Dorell family member shook slightly at the mention of how the interior of the families like their worked and whatever the amount of courage he had or was beginning to have had completely dissipated once again, he kneeled on the ground looking quite submissive and said :
We were the one at wrong here, sir, could you please let us go with a bit of more leniency on your part, at least could we be able to know what were we being treated like that for , if you would please answer me ? .
That's a lot better, see , a little bit of humility and he came back to his mind, that's how you exactly deal with those unruly guys from the founding families, at least those who have weaker strength than you, if someone of you guys tried with someone stronger than you, then you will be left with no place to cry, bear that in mind .
He used him as an example to give a lesson to those subordinates of his, i can imagine how ugly is the current face of the other guy looked like, the leader of the team continued to say :
I will tell you in consideration of your good attitude, you are stooped here cause you entered a current restricted area that alone would give us all the conditions needed to take you down, but since you turned out to be a member of 1 of the 13 founding families, that felony will probably end up with you paying a fine and after a throughly investigation about what were you lot exactly doing here .
I know that tone, after all i heard it a lot back in Troland from the guards there, he wasn't asking them to pay a fine, he is blatantly blackmailing them to give him what he want .
He continued on to say without even giving the other party any chance to refute or even say a word, saying :
I will have you know that earlier tonight, something broke through our defensive barrier from the sky and fell down around this area and we currently believe that whatever or whoever it was, it was still lurking around the area, so my question for you would be, did you see anything out of the norm in the area .
Are you certain that it is still even alive, if it went forcefully through the barrier, then it or he most likely have already been incinerated .
Youaren'twrong, that claim was indeed plausible, but my superiors believe that to not be the case and they built that opinion of theirs on the traces that had been found in the crate that thing created when he fell down, so don't waste my time and just answer the damn question ? .
