Chapter 0

It was another day for the world. But for the humanity on the planet called Earth, it was one of the most anticipated days ever.

Some were scared, some were determined. Humanity had prepared for this day for the last five years nonstop. The technology in these five years had skyrocketed—not out of greed or ambition, but out of pure fear before the doomsday. It was to the extent that the world's most opposite forces created timed alliances.Humanity had prepared for the worst.

In the middle of the endless Pacific Ocean, the horizon cracked open—not torn, nor broken, but cracked, like glass under pressure.

The satellites in space quickly caught a glimpse of the unknown—but expected—and informed the world.

People across the globe wore different, yet strangely similar, expressions. There were all kinds of emotions: hope, interest, excitement, worry…But all of these emotions were mixed with none other than fear. The entire world had declared martial law, preparing for the worst outcome.

The Gate had opened.

On the other side of the crack, in the far lands of the Thalorian Empire, capital city of Velastra, inside the imperial palace, sat a young—yet terrifying—man in what seemed like a conference room.

Behind him were seven other humans, each in different clothes and attire, yet all of them were dead serious, as if judging the fate of the world.Because, indeed, they were.

Opposite the company stood the owners of this world—No, the jungle, as the brown-haired man often referred to it.All of them had different forms, often called by people monsters.

Among these strange individuals stood one elegant and beautiful woman:The sole ruler of the human empire, Empress Seraphyne Vaeloria.

With a cold and sharp voice, she less asked and more declared:

"Make your choice, outsiders."
