Adam looked at the boy who had handed him the attendance sheet. "Thank you," he said. "By the way what is your name?"
The boy had black hair and a handsome face. "My name is Leon," he said. "And I am the class representative of Class 1C."
Adam was a little surprised to hear this. "Leon," he said. "If you have any problem you can come to me."
Leon was very surprised by this. He thought Until now this new teacher was telling everyone not to bother him. And now he is calling me. His intentions don't seem right. He felt a sense of unease.
Adam was completely unaware of what Leon was thinking. He just smiled at him a friendly smile. Seeing this Leon became even more scared. He quickly left thinking Why am I suddenly getting a strange feeling? As if I have misunderstood something.
Adam went back to his office and sat down. Just then the door to his office opened. Isabella came in. She was smiling. "So Mr. Adam," she said. "How was your first day? Your first period?"
