"Make some for me too," Adam said. "I was also at the bank since morning and I haven't eaten."
The manager said happily "Of course director. Is all the work of the bank completed for today?"
Just then Kim, the manager and Adam's eyes fell on Maria. She was still standing awkwardly by the door. She looked completely lost.
"You can sit down," Adam told her his voice now a little softer. "We still have a long discussion ahead of us. You have to understand everything about your new role."
Maria was very nervous. She looked at Adam. Her hands were clasped tightly in front of her. "But sir I don't have any experience of anything," she said her voice trembling a little.
"Then why are you giving me such a big opportunity? I have only just met you for the first time."
