After how Selia acted back at the inn, I would have to be impotent or gay not to think about all the possible ways in which I could be her 'chosen one.'

She was the one that implanted that suggestion in my mind, so now it was only her fault that that's what my mind defaulted to, right?

RIGHT?!

I breathed out a deep sigh.

"So that's how it is…" I muttered before dropping my eyes down to the table and playing around with the leftover cake on my plate. "How do you plan to tackle it?"

In the end, we were both adults here. And the most adult way to go about such a confusing situation would be to just talk about it.
