Orion turned to leave towards his study as he felt his mood do a three sixty from hopeful to hopeless. As he neared the study, a knock sounded at the door.
Before he could react that door opened widely as his cousin stepped in, "Honey, I'm home!" Thompson , ever so goofy shouted making his companion, Thalia roll her eyes.
"Can you ever be serious?" Thalia commented, earning an eye roll from Orion was was now near them.
"Oh babe, you like how I am." Thompson replied and Orion resisted the urge to widen his eyes.
It was news. Thompson and Thalia? A thing? Not that he wasn't happy, but he was not in the mood for any of Thompson 's chatter.
Orion forced a smile, trying to mask his inner turmoil. "Welcome, you two. I see you've been…busy." He raised an eyebrow at Thompson , who grinned sheepishly.
"Oh, come on cuz. Don't act so surprised," Thompson said, sliding an arm around Thalia's shoulders. "We've been dancing around this for weeks."
