Ezra's POV
"Huh? Vlad? What are you doing here?" I asked.
"It's my room, and this is my garden where you are standing. You were so loud that you woke me up from my sleep. I peeked out from the window to see who it was, and it was you."
He was looking at me, and suddenly he stepped closer to the window and rested both hands on the wall.
Taking support from his hands, he leaned out and looked at the other side, where Lazek was still standing and looking at me. Seeing him, Vlad's gaze turned to me, and I was looking ahead—avoiding his gaze.
"What was happening here? He was forcing you, wasn't he? Should I kill him? Just say a word," he said.
How can he talk about killing someone so casually? Like he was about to kill some mosquitoes. Lazek is a whole person.
"Wait, don't kill him. And I have handled my matters myself, so don't worry about that." I said and grabbed his hand to stop him.
