Chapter 34 - Chapter 33 – The Tamer’s Resolve

After the feast at Kyouro, the next morning, my girls and I returned to the Astarte Kingdom. Merlin was happily pulling our carriage, galloping with a light heart. Aisha and Yuki competed for my attention, each clinging to one of my arms, while Reshia shyly sat on my lap, swinging her legs. Yuki glanced at me over the edge of her grimoire, her eyes stealing quick glances. Hilda quietly stared at me, her gaze calm and unreadable. Sasha laid down across the carriage, playfully teasing me, and Lisa chatted with Merlin at the front. Alice and Seraph flew alongside us, occasionally perching to rest their wings. Violet sat directly across from me, eyes closed in meditative peace.

As I looked around at them, my heart swelled with gratitude. I felt like the luckiest man alive. Yet deep inside, I couldn't stop thinking—before this, I only loved Aisha. She's the one who keeps choosing more girls to join me. Can I really carry this responsibility? Can I truly love them all equally?

The sound of creaking wheels and birdsong followed us down the road until we reached the gate of Mavela City, where we stopped at the Mavela Guild. Inside, Baran and Aula greeted us with warm smiles and congratulations. They handed us our rewards, and from there, we continued our journey home.

When we reached Uruste Village, my mother was already waiting. My father landed just in time on his wyvern. My mother, now two months pregnant, couldn't run to me, but she embraced me tightly with all her strength. Aunt Testia appeared from the forest, laughing playfully.

"Ara~ I knew it! You tamed more girls!!" she teased. "My cute nephew has so many wives now! I'm so proud!" She hugged the girls like they were her own nieces.

Blushing, I introduced the newer girls to my parents. My father nudged me and whispered, "So… which one's your favorite?"

"Seriously, Father?" I sighed. "I don't have a favorite—I love them all."

My girls turned to look at me, all blushing... except Seraph, who simply stared flatly. I noticed my house looked much larger. My father must've expanded it while I was away. My jaw dropped when I saw my new room—and especially the enormous bed.

Then I heard Aisha's voice call from the bathroom. I rushed over and was stunned again. The bathroom had become a massive hot spring, complete with a heating artifact. Before I could process it, Aisha pushed me in, splashing everyone in the process.

This house wasn't just bigger—it felt fuller. Like it was catching up to the size of my heart.

Then, Aisha, Reshia, Luna, Yuki, and Hilda undressed and joined the bath. Merlin blushed but slowly eased in. Sasha hesitated, nervous about the heat, but I coaxed her in. Lisa rinsed herself off before slipping in. Alice cannonballed in, splashing everyone, while Seraph sat quietly in the corner, nearly dozing. Violet kept her distance, soaking peacefully.

Luna submerged herself quietly, probably remembering the time her skin shed during our first date. Reshia trying to swim in the bath. Hilda arm crossed and eyes close while in the bath. Aisha and Yuki compared their bodies. Then others also followed.

Later, we all settled into the giant bed. As each of the girls drifted to sleep, I lay awake, staring at the ceiling. Can I really manage all of this? I turned to see Aisha sleeping beside me, wondering why she's so eager to share me.

I left the bed and walked outside, where my father was training with his monsters.

"Midnight training, huh?" I asked.

"Ares? Can't sleep?" he said, smirking. "Too many girls in one bed?"

"Shut up…" I muttered, blushing. "Actually, I needed to ask you something."

"Shoot."

"I don't know if I can really care for all of them. They're talking about becoming my wives."

"Hah, wives, huh?" he said, then looked thoughtful. "You're lucky, Ares. I'm envious." A tear slid down his cheek.

"Oi!!" I yelped.

He laughed it off. "But seriously… they're loyal to you. That's rare."

"Why though? They could live better lives without being bound to me like this."

He patted his monster. "My Cunning Wolf still bites me sometimes. My wyvern is loyal too. Tamers don't control—Tamers earn loyalty."

"But Aisha keeps bringing me new girls… how do I handle this?"

"Ares… I'm 39. You're just 18. You've got time to figure it out. And remember—you're half-fae. That means you've got centuries."

I opened my mouth to protest, but he cut me off.

"Stop doubting! You are strong now! BE it. Be the All-Class Tamer!"

Seraph must've overheard. She flew down from the window, emotionless face but eyes filled with worry.

"Master… don't leave us. We were scared."

"I'm not going anywhere, Seraph." I clenched my fists, standing tall.

"That's my boy," my father whispered proudly.

I carried Seraph back to bed. I swore then and there—I'd protect them all.

Meanwhile, my father's wyvern nudges him. He whispered to his wyvern, "He's not ready yet…Patience still out there and Wrath still sealed."

Elsewhere…

"Why… why is my body moving on its own?" Cynthia, the Evil Goddess of Love, was fighting against the magic restraining her. "I can't control it… this is Byjack's doing… someone… Ares… help me…"

Byjack, the Evil God of Diligence, continued manipulating her. His plan to manifest countless dungeons globally was still underway. But he needed more time… and more of Cynthia.

Back to me…

The next morning, I woke to find only Aisha and Merlin beside me.

Aisha beamed. "Let's go on a date today!"

"Just the three of us?" I asked.

"Yup!" Aisha grinned. "Don't worry, I planned it~"

A double date? What could go wrong?

Or… so I thought.
