Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Life Blueprint – Martial Immortal Constellation!

Chapter 2: Life Blueprint – Martial Immortal Constellation!

But… until one becomes a World Lord, the internal world cannot store foreign objects!

Let's take the Golden-Horned Giant Beast as an example—any foreign object that enters its internal world faces only two outcomes: it either gets broken down and absorbed as nourishment, or it overwhelms the internal world and causes the beast's death.

That tree… that stone table… that axe… their existence clearly defied this logic.

As Jiang Zhe stood there dazed, others simply assumed he was disappointed for failing to awaken his spiritual power.

Jiang Wen, who had remained silent, finally spoke to comfort him, "Seems like your spiritual talent hasn't awakened yet. Don't be discouraged. Data shows that the later a spiritual master awakens, the stronger their potential tends to be."

His aunt, Jiang Chengcheng, added, "Your grandfather and uncle left right after you fainted. They went to the Taihe River, hoping to find a Taihe Carp-Dragon and slay it for its heart blood to brew bloodwine. Once you become a quasi-warrior and start cultivating Genetic Origin Energy, the bloodwine will help improve your physique, and your spiritual power will likely awaken quickly."

"Bloodwine? Dragon blood?" Jiang Zhe was surprised. "Our family can make such a treasure?"

"Not quite," Jiang Wu shook his head and explained in his deep voice. "The blood used by the Extreme Martial Hall to make 'dragon blood' doesn't actually come from king-level dragons. Everyone knows it, though people still spread rumors. But our Jiang family? We don't parrot nonsense. It's shameful."

Jiang Zhe nodded. He had heard of this secret.

In fact, there were even whispers that the heart blood of a king-level dragon beast might be more effective than the so-called "dragon blood."

But king-level dragons were extremely hard to kill—and far too rare for humans to harvest.

Jiang Wu continued, "Our family's bloodwine uses an ancient recipe. The main ingredient must come from a lord-level dragon beast's heart blood. Though its effects are far inferior to 'dragon blood' and it only benefits warriors below the God of War level, the good thing is that we can make it in sufficient quantities. It's a sustainable resource for cultivation."

"Hehe, I'll benefit from your fortune, Little Zhe. If Grandpa really brings back a Taihe Carp-Dragon, I'll get a bottle of bloodwine at the elite training camp in Thunder Martial Hall. That should help me break through to Advanced War General and win more cultivation resources."

Jiang Wu grinned and scratched his head.

After chatting for a while and reminding Jiang Zhe to rest, everyone left.

His aunt and Jiang Wen went to handle the Jiang family's business affairs.

Jiang Wu and his sister Jiang Sisi returned to the Martial Hall—the alloy tower where Jiang Zhe had tested his strength earlier—to continue their martial training.

There was harmony within the Jiang family—no petty schemes or political games. As an ancient martial family, nearly everyone was a martial arts fanatic.

Their family's development model was also unique: the least talented in each generation was assigned to manage the family's business and earn resources for the others to cultivate.

"My aunt's talent isn't bad, but she lost out due to age. Father and Uncle wouldn't yield the martial path to her, saying that as a girl, she should enjoy life, not endure the brutality of a warrior's world…"

"In our third generation, I'm the youngest. I should've been the one at most risk of being sidelined."

"But after they suspected I had spiritual master potential, my elder brother Jiang Wen gave up without a fight. Before our coming-of-age competition even began, he declared his passion was stock trading and volunteered to manage the family business."

Jiang Zhe shook his head.

He didn't think that was a good thing.

If everyone had martial talent, then they should all focus on training.

Once Earth integrated into the wider universe, managing business affairs could be outsourced—or abandoned entirely.

After seeing them off, Jiang Zhe sent someone to fetch the steward and asked for a high-definition camera. Taking it with him, he entered the study.

"For the first sixteen years of my life, I was strategizing how to thrive in the coming cosmic era…"

"But today, my golden finger has arrived. With my spiritual master talent, I might just qualify for the Genius Tournament and become part of the Virtual Universe Corporation's core!"

"That would completely change my family's destiny!"

Excited, Jiang Zhe locked the study from the inside and closed all the curtains.

He set up the camera in the center of the room and stood before the lens. With a thought, he reached toward the "prokaryote" suspended in his consciousness palace, attempting to enter it.

Then, something strange happened—the camera captured it all: a living person vanished right before the lens.

Jiang Zhe's vision blurred.

When it cleared, he found himself in a bizarre realm.

A space of roughly a hundred square meters—there was the ancient tree, the stone table, the axe… just like the cave-like world he had seen earlier.

Or rather, as it should be called here: his "Internal World"!

"This feeling… I see it!"

Inside this world, Jiang Zhe sensed a deep connection—somewhere far beyond, hidden in mist, a dark golden sphere floated in the void.

"Sure enough… it's the prokaryote. My soul and its spiritual power are stored inside."

"As long as the prokaryote isn't destroyed, I have no true vital point!"

"Brain? Heart? They're no longer important!"

This was a monumental transformation in his very lifeform. Jiang Zhe was thrilled.

He strode up to the stone table and grabbed the axe.

It wasn't particularly heavy—maybe ten kilos at most.

"Chop a tree and get a treasure? Let's test your limits!"

He swung the axe hard against the tree's thick trunk—more than a meter in diameter. The blade bit in deeply, leaving a gash nearly twenty centimeters long and two to three deep.

When he pulled the axe back, a golden orb flew out from the tree wound.

Instantly, the axe became incredibly heavy. He could no longer lift it. It fell from his grasp and flew back to the table on its own.

"So… only one chop allowed for now?"

Jiang Zhe rubbed his chin, thinking.

He wasn't too concerned.

He bent down and picked up the basketball-sized golden orb.

The moment his fingers touched it, the orb vanished, revealing a folded set of golden pages—just like ancient scrolls used by emperors in historical dramas.

He opened it. The pages were filled with tiny characters—and five large anatomical illustrations of the human body.

Each body had dots marked inside—3 points, 10 points, 22 points… increasing from left to right.

"'Golden Human Life Blueprint – Martial Immortal Constellation'?"

It was a rare secret technique. Jiang Zhe read the title aloud.

"Life blueprint?"

The term triggered a memory deep in his mind.

To break through to True God along the soul path, one must study something called… the Structure of Life?

It allows one's genetic level to leap ten-thousand-fold!

Jiang Zhe stared at the pages, breath heavy with excitement. He began reading.

One minute… two… five…

Eventually, his hands began to tremble. His breath quickened.

After a long while, he closed the golden scroll and placed it carefully back on the stone table. Then he exhaled slowly, trying to calm himself.

He was excited—ecstatic!

The secret technique did in fact enhance one's genetic level. If he mastered the fifth diagram, he could reach 1810x life genes!

Another "Nine Tribulation Manual"?

No. That alone wouldn't get him this emotional.

The terrifying part… was that this technique could pass down the boosted genes to descendants!

With this blueprint, Jiang Zhe could create an entirely new race—a royal bloodline of humanity. Just like the Celestial Wolves among the demons, who were born with 6x base gene levels.

By mastering the first diagram, his body would reach 3x genetic level—and any child born from him would inherit that 3x base gene.

Even if he completed the second or third diagram, offspring would still be at 3x. Go further, and maybe even the rules of the universe would sterilize him out of fear.

After firmly memorizing the first diagram's training method, Jiang Zhe exited the internal space.

He didn't dare take the scroll with him—what if the Origin Universe destroyed it? This was his startup capital for becoming strong in this world.

Before leaving, he tried lifting the axe again.

No luck.

"Wonder when I'll get to chop that tree again…"

Back in the study, Jiang Zhe reappeared.

He opened the curtains, unlocked the door, then sat behind the desk to review the footage.

In the recording, just after he disappeared, he zoomed in frame by frame.

At maximum magnification, he spotted a tiny glowing speck—just 1–2 millimeters wide—hovering where his chest used to be.

That… was his prokaryote.

Once he enters the internal world, the prokaryote is exposed. If anything shatters it from outside, he'll die instantly.

"From now on, unless I'm absolutely sure I'm in a safe environment, I can't enter the internal world and expose the prokaryote."

"Luo Feng's method was better."

"Before becoming a World Lord, he had three bodies—each able to carry the prokaryote. If he wanted to observe the internal world, he could just switch his consciousness to one of the internal clones."

Thinking of Luo Feng, Jiang Zhe's joy dimmed slightly. He sighed.

"When will I get a clone too?"

"In this world, it's tough without one. You're fragile, and you can't multitask comprehension of laws…"

"Ah, Tree! Ah, Axe!"

"Can you hear my thoughts? Show me your limits!"

He destroyed the camera and spent some time reading in the study.

From the Tao Te Ching to the Zhuangzi to the Chongxu Canon—nothing could calm his agitated mind.

In the end, he tossed aside the classics he used to treasure.

"Let's go. Time to train at the Martial Hall!"

"First, I'll become a quasi-warrior. Once I can cultivate Genetic Origin Energy, I'll meet the minimum requirement to start training the first diagram of the Life Blueprint!"

Author's Note:

The Life Blueprint is different from the Nine Tribulation Manual.

If you don't want to overthink it, just treat it like the Nine Tribulation Manual.

But if you do care about the details: the Nine Tribulation Manual builds an internal universe and pushes life to evolve by increasing the gene level—any creature can train in it, and if their base genes are high enough, they can reach the Perfect Genetic Level.

The Life Blueprint, however, rewrites your bloodline. It can create a new race—"Golden Humans."

If a being like a Celestial Wolf (6x base genes) tries training the Blueprint, they won't become 6×3=18x. Instead, their bloodline gets rewritten (like white → black), dropping them to 3x and then rising again: 10, 22, 181, 1810…

I studied the original novel several times before starting this book and took extensive notes on my iPad. Hope you enjoy it!
