Chapter 45 - The start of the riot

(Nilsson is still standing on the palace balcony, facing the crowds)

Nilsson (With challenging calmness):

"I repeat, I will not step down from my presidency! And if you attempt to overstep or do anything insane, my guards will stop you with the necessary force."

(We return to Rin and Touji watching the scene from afar)

Rin (Clenching her teeth in anger and frustration):

"He made a bad situation worse! He should have retreated a little, not poured oil on the fire."

(In the palace square, one of the attendees shouts loudly):

"We will not budge! If so, we will act in a way that befits our demands!"

Nilsson enters the palace, ending the confrontation abruptly.

The crowds gradually began to disperse, each person muttering different words, angry or threatening.

First Voice:

"We'll show him who we are! He wants to impose his control over our emotions and rights."

Second Voice:

"He scoffs at us! He thinks he is a crowned king who is above accountability!"

The crowd scattered like dust or ants, but the anger remained blazing.

Touji (With urgency, having realized the danger of the situation):

"We have only one solution left: we must inform that old man Tami immediately."

Rin (With determined composure):

"We'll go. We must stop this catastrophe before it swallows the entire city."

🧪 Inside the Palace: Nilsson's Plan

Inside one of the large, coldly lit rooms, Nilsson stands straight and calm, surrounded by hundreds of glass containers containing pale blue liquid acids.

Nilsson (With chilling calm, speaking to an unseen person):

"This is the final plan. This plan will force the people to stop and silence them."

(Inside the glass containers, we see dissolving or mutilated bodies, similar to the man Kazuma touched at the beginning of the story arc.)

Nilsson (In a cold tone devoid of any remorse):

"My position is more important than the fate of the people themselves. This is the price that must be paid for stability."

🏃 Returning to the Outside

(We return to the scene where Rin and Touji are running away from the palace)

Touji (Gasping):

"Don't you see, Rin? You two... you and Kazuma wanted to do almost the same thing! To control the people."

Rin (With desperate calmness):

"No, the situation is completely different! We were going to control the people by showing them the documents and how they were manipulated; we would lead them to the truth. But now, the situation is entirely out of hand and has become a chemical disaster that might exterminate everyone."

(During the running scene, Rin continues to talk to Touji)

Rin (With extreme worry):

"You go to your master, Hary. And I will talk to my master, Tin... They must intervene now!"

Touji (With resolve and determination):

"Then... let's separate now, and let's return with useful information."

Touji changed his course to the left, while Rin continued running at maximum speed.

🚪 Searching for Tin

Rin finally reached the house where she resides, her energy depleted from running and anxiety.

Rin (In a loud voice that is almost a scream):

"Master! Help me! Where are you?"

As she runs through the house, she is breathing rapidly and deeply.

Rin:

"My Master! Please, help me... Where have you disappeared to?"

Tin hurried out of one of the rooms.

Tin (In a calm but surprised tone):

"Rin? Why this sudden shouting? Did something happen outside?"

Rin (Speaking quickly, her breath fragmented):

"Master! Didn't you hear or see... what is happening outside? The city has gone insane!"

Tin (With extreme composure that contradicts her distress):

"Whoa... why are you talking like that? Take a deep breath... Calm down, and breathe steadily first."

Rin took a deep breath, then continued her dialogue, forced into calmness.

Rin:

"In short... the people have learned the truth about President Nilsson and his crimes."

Tin (With skepticism and deliberate calm):

"Are you sure? I don't think anyone in the city knows the facts of his secret crimes."

Rin (With mounting anxiety):

"I'm truly not lying! Someone leaked the documents, and it caused the crowds to gather against him!"

Tin (With complete calm):

"Fine, that's an interesting development. But, who leaked those documents?"

Rin (With urgency and despair):

"What matters now! What should we do? We must stop his chemical plan!"

Tin (With an ominous calm, and a slight smile appearing on his lips):

"We will do nothing. We will stay and watch the events from afar, monitoring the progress of the coup... unless the matter becomes more dangerous and reaches us."

(We return to Rin and Tin after Tin declared he would only observe)

Tin (With total insistence and calm):

"I will stay here, Rin. We will not move."

Rin (Questioning with desperate coldness, having started to understand his stance):

"Why is your calm so strange? Do you realize the magnitude of what's happening outside?"

Tin (Smiling a slight, mysterious smile):

"I'm not calm; I am cold-blooded. I want to approach this coming war with pure logic, away from impulsiveness. That requires coldness in thought."

Rin (Asking seriously, trying to follow his pace):

"Alright. Then what is the first step we should take? How do we prepare?"

Tin (With a very worrying calmness):

"You must train. We don't have the luxury of time to rest. Get ready."

Rin (Suddenly changing the subject as she remembers the absentee):

"By the way, Master, where is Kazuma? I haven't seen him since yesterday."

Tin:

"He might be sleeping... Leave him be. Perhaps he is tired from his recent journey, or preoccupied with something else."

(We return to Rin and her Master Tin)

Rin (With a frigid calmness after accepting the reality):

"Fine... I will go out now to begin training, or to search for another way to help."

(The camera lens quickly sweeps through the alleys of 'Thunder Village')

Two people rashly enter a small store and begin smashing its contents. Winds pick up and sand flies everywhere. We see the two people breaking the glass windows.

At the same time, other people are attacking houses and shops, smashing their glass, then running away cautiously and quickly.

The Narrator (In a rough, harsh voice):

"Officially, we declare that a state of chaos has begun. The coup is now heading toward inevitable disaster."

(Our camera moves towards Nilsson's luxurious office)

Titi is sitting at his desk, while Nilsson is standing in front of the glass window, staring at the remaining crowds outside.

Titi (With anxious calm):

"Brother Nilsson, what will you do now? Chaos is sweeping the streets."

Nilsson (With a calmness not without audacity):

"I have only one plan, a plan that will rebuild the village anew and correct this corruption from its roots."

Titi (With cautionary calmness):

"Brother, I hope you do not cause an uncontrollable, devastating chaos. Be careful with your calculations."

Nilsson (With deliberate calm):

"No, Titi. This plan will change everything, and it will turn this coup into an opportunity for us."

(Nilsson smiles a cold, frightening smile):

"This plan of mine involves one main thing... and that is rebuilding on a solid foundation."

Titi (With calmness and inquiry):

"What is your real goal, brother? What is the destiny you seek?"

Nilsson (With a calmness that reveals immense ambition):

"With this plan, I will build a strong, cohesive army and renew the rebellion and alliance against the Shamahan Assembly."

Titi (Clenching his teeth in anger and fear):

"Shamahan is too strong, Nilsson! Do not trifle with its power. That is suicide!"

Nilsson:

"My plan is to build a powerful, developed kingdom that holds its own decision in its hand, and is ruled by an irresistible force."

(Nilsson is still standing by the window, his ambition soaring)

Nilsson (Smiling confidently):

"But before all of this... I want to obtain a special box. And in very short terms, I want to search for Jin."

Titi (With calmness and thought):

"Jin? Isn't he the man rumored to have annihilated his entire clan in a single night?"

Nilsson:

"Yes. He is the very person. The man who holds the power we need."

Titi (Closing his eyes with impatience or resignation):

"Then I will tell you frankly without you getting upset with me: You will not be able to subdue him. He is a force that cannot be conquered."

Nilsson (With calmness and boastfulness):

"I have already executed my first plan, which was to flood the village with narcotics. That was the foundation that paved the way for the current chaos."

(Nilsson's smile widens in triumph):

"But that wasn't my idea; it was 'Harn's' idea. He sent me the narcotics for free! Can you believe it? He provided me with free funding for the chaos I am creating!"

(Titi remained silent, staring at Nilsson with wide eyes, disbelieving the extent of the involvement and mystery surrounding his brother.)
