After leaving Fugaku's house, Ryosuke didn't return home immediately.
He rarely got the chance to breathe fresh air these days, and now that he was out, he figured he might as well take a walk beyond the Uchiha compound. Strolling along, he noticed a sharp contrast between how people treated him. Within the clan, every Uchiha he passed greeted him with respect—even reverence. But as soon as he stepped outside, especially toward the bustling parts of the village, things shifted.
Civilians shrank away at the mere sight of him, fear plastered across their faces. Some even crossed the street or outright turned away, as if he were some kind of beast.
Ryosuke frowned at the reaction. What, do I look like a rampaging tailed beast? Why the hell are they so scared of me?
He sighed inwardly. It must've been the aftermath of the whole Danzo situation. The way he took out the old war hawk probably gave outsiders the impression that the Uchiha clan had gone full tyrant mode.
Great. Now I'm a walking propaganda poster for Uchiha domination.
Deciding it wasn't worth the headache, Ryosuke changed course and headed toward the quieter outskirts of the village. He eventually found a secluded area with no one in sight and sat down on a public bench under the shade of some trees. A soft breeze blew across his face, and finally, without all those fearful gazes, he felt his mood settle.
Hopefully tomorrow changes things, he thought. People need to understand that the Uchiha aren't just some bloodthirsty warmongers.
As he leaned back and closed his eyes to relax, a woman approached. She wore a white kimono and had striking purple hair that shimmered faintly in the sunlight.
It was Uzuki Yugao.
After spending the previous night studying books on "how to attract men," she had convinced herself that the time had come. She needed to complete her mission as soon as possible.
Today, she had dressed with extra care, her heart hammering with tension. She was going to do it—seduce Uchiha Ryosuke and uncover the secret behind his sudden rise in power.
Ryosuke, of course, noticed her the moment she approached. That dazzling face and distinctive violet hair—it could only be Yugao. And she really had quite the figure. Not over-the-top, but well-proportioned and very appealing.
She's young… probably not long out of the Academy, huh?
But he frowned slightly. Isn't she one of the Third Hokage's Anbu? I wonder if she's already joined at this point in time.
He was about to dismiss her presence as a coincidence when, to his surprise, she walked straight up to him and sat down beside him on the bench.
Her cheeks were flushed, her voice trembling slightly but clear:
"I'm Yugao. Uchiha Ryosuke… I like you."
Ryosuke blinked. Excuse me, what?
He was completely dumbfounded. Wasn't this their first time meeting?
Since when do strangers just drop that kind of bombshell out of nowhere? Is this some kind of prank? Or worse… a mission?
He didn't buy it for a second. Not even his admittedly good looks could make someone fall in love at first sight to this degree.
And yet… she was close. Too close. Her soft scent was intoxicating, and those lips—red, perfectly shaped—looked almost too tempting.
Well, he smirked inwardly, she made the first move… I'd be a fool not to respond in kind.
So Ryosuke leaned in.
Yugao's eyes widened as he kissed her.
She hadn't expected him to be so direct—her plan was to build rapport slowly, to earn his trust. But Ryosuke clearly wasn't the patient type.
Still, this was for the sake of the village, right? Stability. Peace. That's what Lord Hiruzen had said. So she gritted her teeth and endured it.
Ryosuke's touch was surprisingly gentle, but it didn't change the fact that he took full advantage of the moment. Her inexperience made it all the more overwhelming, and soon she was trembling from head to toe, trying to catch her breath.
She wanted to push him away, but Ryosuke's strength was far beyond hers. She had no choice but to adjust her posture just to breathe properly.
Only after nearly half an hour did Ryosuke finally release her, looking ridiculously satisfied.
"Your confession? Accepted. And I gotta say, you taste amazing. I'm very pleased."
Yugao's lips were numb, her upper body flushed and hot. This guy… this guy was too much!
She felt humiliated and furious. But more than anything, she was stunned by how far things had escalated.
This was supposed to be a slow-burn infiltration, not… whatever the hell just happened.
Worse yet, Ryosuke was now grinning smugly.
"Must've been my overwhelming charisma, huh? My kingly aura just pulled you right in."
Yugao seethed inwardly. Kingly aura my ass… I'm here on direct orders from the Third Hokage! You're just an assignment, not some fantasy prince!
But she couldn't blow her cover now—not after everything she'd already endured. She had to see this mission through and uncover how Ryosuke had grown so powerful, so fast.
So she forced a smile and replied sweetly:
"Yes… you're very cool and handsome. And being an Uchiha makes you even more amazing."
"I'm just a regular chūnin myself," she added, feigning modesty. "I wonder if I'll ever be strong like you…"
Ryosuke gave her an encouraging nod.
"Of course. You'll definitely become a strong jōnin one day."
She nearly rolled her eyes. Already am, genius. Otherwise I wouldn't even be in the Anbu.
Still, she kept up the act and leaned in a little more.
"Do you think I could train with you sometime? That way we can spend more time together…"
Her tone was innocent, but her goal was sharp—she wanted to observe him in action. See if she could figure out his secret firsthand.
Ryosuke raised an eyebrow, amused.
Ah, so that's your angle. Alright, let's play this game.
"Sure," he said with a shrug. "I don't mind. Actually, I haven't started today's training yet. Want to come now?"
Yugao's eyes lit up. Perfect. This is my chance.
"Yes, I'd love to."
