Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 {Garfield}

As the days passed, Leticia and Garfield settled into a comfortable routine. They spent their days watching cartoons, eating snacks, and exploring the mansion together. Leticia's innocence and curiosity were infectious, and even Fifth Young Master found himself softening towards the unusual pair.

One afternoon, as Leticia and Garfield lounged on the sofa in her room, there was a knock at the door. Fifth Young Master entered, his expression stern as always.

"I've arranged for you to have a tutor," he announced gruffly.

"You need to learn about the world if you're going to stay here."

Leticia pouted slightly but nodded obediently. She looked down at Garfield, who was currently asleep on her lap.

"Can Garfield come with me?" she asked hopefully.

Fifth Young Master hesitated for a moment before sighing in resignation.

"If he must," he muttered.

"But don't expect me to pay for his education too."

Leticia grinned triumphantly, giving Garfield a gentle squeeze. The cat stirred sleepily but didn't wake up.

"Thank you!" she exclaimed happily.

"You're the best!"

Leticia had forbidden Garfield to talking in front of other. Other than in front of her. Leticia was eating breakfast as she watched movie she felt excitement. Lately the servants notice how the Fifth Young Master is extremely patient with Leticia. Because of her innocent mind, and naive behavior countless of the servants and butlers, all just want to protect her from the world. Leticia was truly happy never fought against it. Soon Monday came when she woke she called for the beautiful one but wasn't there.

"He went to work."

"What is work?" She asked Butler Jenkins.

Butler Jenkins sighed, wondering how to explain the concept of work to someone as naive as Leticia. He chose his words carefully, hoping to keep it simple.

"Work is when people go to a place outside the home to do tasks or jobs that earn them money," he explained patiently.

"The Fifth Young Master has many important responsibilities as the head of the Reinholt Corporation."

Leticia's brow furrowed in confusion. She tried to imagine Fifth Young Master sitting at a desk, doing paperwork all day.

"But why can't he stay here with me?" she asked, her lower lip sticking out in a pout.

"He's always so busy..."

Butler Jenkins' expression softened at her disappointment.

"Here how about you read this"

"Wow what are these?"

"Manga."

Butler Jenkins smiled gently, handing Leticia a stack of colorful manga volumes.

"They're Japanese comic books," he explained.

"They tell stories with pictures and words. I think you'll enjoy them."

Leticia's eyes widened with excitement as she flipped through the pages. The vibrant illustrations and engaging storylines captivated her immediately.

"Thank you!" she exclaimed, hugging the manga to her chest.

"I'm going to read them all!"

As Leticia immersed herself in the world of manga, Butler Jenkins watched her with a fond smile. He was grateful for the distraction, knowing that it would keep her occupied until Fifth Young Master returned from work.

Hours passed, and Leticia remained engrossed in her newfound hobby. She laughed at the funny moments, gasped at the surprising twists, and cheered for her favorite characters. It was a welcome escape from the complexities of her unusual situation.

Fifth Young Master stiffened in surprise as Leticia launched herself at him, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist. He stood there for a moment, unsure of how to react to her sudden display of affection.

"I missed you," Leticia murmured, burying her face in his chest.

Fifth Young Master's expression softened slightly, and he hesitantly patted her back.

"I was only gone for a few hours," he said gruffly.

"Not that long."

Leticia looked up at him, her crimson eyes shining with happiness.

"But it felt like forever!" she exclaimed.

"What did you do today?"

She stepped back and grabbed his hand, pulling him towards the sofa where the manga volumes lay scattered.

"I read these!" she announced proudly.

"They're called manga. Butler Jenkins gave them to me."

Leticia then stood on her tip toes her silver white hair was in a messy bun her messy bun was big. As she kissed him on the check she giggled.

"It greets like that it showed it on a cartoon!"

"What cartoon?" Fifth Young Master snapped coldly Leticia tapped her chin and snapped her finger as she recalled.

Leticia's eyes widened as she remembered the specific cartoon episode.

"It was the one where the princess kissed the prince on the cheek to say hello!" she exclaimed.

"She said it was a greeting in her kingdom."

Fifth Young Master's expression darkened, his jaw clenched tightly. He stepped back, wiping his cheek where Leticia had kissed him.

"That's not how greetings work here," he said coldly.

"If you want to greet someone, a simple 'hello' or a handshake will suffice. Understood?"

Leticia nodded obediently, her earlier excitement fading slightly at his stern tone. She looked down at her feet, fidgeting nervously.

"Yes, Fifth Young Master," she murmured.

"Just don't do with strangers okay? Here is a cake for you," Fifth Young Master said. The sadness disappeared right away and she jumped in the air.

"Thank you!"

As Leticia enjoyed her cake, Fifth Young Master watched her with a mixture of amusement and exasperation. He couldn't help but be drawn to her innocent enthusiasm, even as he tried to maintain his stern facade.

"You have frosting on your face," he pointed out, handing her a napkin.

Leticia looked up at him, her cheeks bulging with cake. She swallowed quickly and took the napkin, dabbing at the corners of her mouth.

"Thank you," she mumbled around a mouthful of cake.

Fifth Young Master sighed, shaking his head slightly. He sat down across from her, his expression softening imperceptibly.

"So," he began gruffly.

"How was your day otherwise? Did you learn anything interesting?"

Leticia nodded eagerly, setting down her fork and wiping her hands on her napkin.

"Yes!" she exclaimed.

"I learned about work and manga! And Butler Jenkins told me stories about the Reinholt family."

Fifth Young Master's eyebrow arched slightly at that last part. He wondered what kind of stories Butler Jenkins had shared with Leticia and if they were appropriate for someone of her innocence.

"And what did you think of those stories?"

"You are a king! Powerful! Just fafa!"
