Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 Three Unlucky Brothers

Halfway up Kukulu Mountain, there was a wooden building resembling an izakaya.

A wooden sign stood at the entrance, with the three brush-written characters "Taste of Home" on it.

The brushwork was so exquisite, imbued with a deep sense of character, that one could immediately feel a strong "taste of home" upon seeing it.

Such mastery would make even the greatest calligraphers of the current era feel ashamed of their own inferiority.

These were the characters Hiro had written after he once drew a "God-tier Calligraphy Skill Book."

Funnily enough, when Hiro said he wanted to make a sign, the two old men, Ma Ha and Zeno, argued endlessly over who should write the characters.

But in the end, they were both conquered by Hiro's three characters and never dared to boast about being calligraphy masters again.

This building was constructed under Hiro's supervision, specifically to serve three meals a day to Zoldyck Family members and butlers.

However, because the butlers all felt they were not qualified to dine with the masters, Hiro had to divide the restaurant into two areas:

one for Zoldyck Family members, and the other for butlers.

At this moment, Hiro was stir-frying in the kitchen, with two culinary-skilled butlers helping him prepare ingredients and assist.

These two also served as backup chefs, able to take over when Hiro was not home.

At this moment,

an enticing aroma wafted from the kitchen from time to time,

making Killua and Milluki, who were waiting at the dining table, continuously wipe their drool.

The two usually didn't get along and rarely spoke to each other, but when they came to Hiro's restaurant, they miraculously found something to talk about.

"Killua, do you smell it? Big Brother must be making braised prawns in oil!"

"Heh heh, your pig nose isn't bad."

"Pig… Never mind, secretly give me a little later, and I'll forgive your offense."

"Dream on."

"Killua, you're so annoying. You still want to make friends? I don't think anyone will like you."

"Oh."

Suddenly,

Killua cupped his hands around his mouth, making a megaphone shape towards the kitchen:

"Big Brother, Milluki said to secretly…"

"Stop, stop, stop!"

Milluki pressed a hand over Killua's mouth:

"I was wrong, don't shout. You're loved by everyone, and you'll definitely make many friends in the future, alright?"

Killua pointed to Milluki's hand,

"If you promise not to shout, I'll let go."

Milluki nodded obediently.

Seeing this, Killua also breathed a sigh of relief and removed his hand.

Then

he watched Killua leave his original seat and move to a farther one.

Then

he saw Killua give him a sly smile, cupping his hands around his mouth like a megaphone…

"Big Brother, Milluki said to secretly give him all the prawns!"

"Oh my god!!!"

Milluki was stunned.

"Big Brother is the best, so understanding!"

Even though he was eating a downsized version of the meal, Milluki still looked blissful; it was simply too delicious!

Killua's dining table nearby was empty, and he said, drooling, to Hiro, who came out with a meal:

"Big Brother, bring my food over!"

"No, this isn't your food. It's Kalluto's."

Following Hiro's gaze, Killua saw Kalluto sitting quietly in the corner of the restaurant.

He was still dressed in that printed kimono; anyone who didn't know him would absolutely, one hundred percent, think he was a cute girl.

Kalluto clearly didn't expect Killua to suddenly look at him and turned his head away, embarrassed.

"Damn it, do you have to monitor me even in the restaurant?"

Killua muttered softly, leaving Hiro speechless.

You brat, your misunderstanding of Kalluto is a bit too big.

When watching the original work in his previous life, Hiro felt that for such a cute boy like Kalluto, why didn't Killua like him?

Killua was so caring and protective of Alluka, who also dressed as a girl, but he was indifferent to Kalluto.

Through many years of personal observation in this life, Hiro understood that the main reason was personality.

Killua was not an outgoing person to begin with, and having been forced to undergo various cruel trainings since childhood,

his personality was passive, making it difficult for him to actively interact with others.

Alluka, on the other hand, had a relatively cheerful and lively personality, often actively acting spoiled towards Killua,

and given that the two shared the secret of Nanika, they became even more intimate.

Kalluto, however, was the exact opposite of Alluka, with a very quiet and introverted personality.

Although he also liked Killua, he never actively expressed it,

and Killua was not an active person, plus he often saw Kalluto with his annoying mother, so he was even less inclined to approach him.

This led to the situation in the original work where Kalluto liked Killua but only silently watched him from afar, while Killua never even looked at him.

In this life, as Kalluto's older brother, Hiro naturally wanted to help Kalluto improve his relationship with Killua, so they could play together.

In fact, this plan had been written in Hiro's notebook a long time ago and had already been put into action, yielding very good results.

At that time, Hiro had Alluka, who was cheerful, act as a bridge, actively pulling Killua and Kalluto to play together, and naturally, their relationship became very close.

However, just like in the original work, one day, Nanika's existence was still discovered by the Zoldyck Family, and to understand Alluka's abilities, it also caused great sacrifices.

After realizing the serious danger of Alluka's abilities, Sliva decisively decided to confine Alluka.

Hiro, unable to stop him at the time, had to accept it for now and decided to find a way to rescue Alluka later.

Killua, who had a deep affection for Alluka, naturally did not want to see Alluka confined and was on the verge of losing control and turning dark.

For the purpose of protecting Killua, Hiro knocked Killua unconscious, then had Illumi use a Nen needle to seal all of Killua's memories related to Alluka while ensuring that it would not affect Killua's mind or health at all.

Illumi had been impressed by Hiro's talent and strength since childhood practically a super brother-complex and naturally followed Hiro's every command.

Because Kalluto's presence was in all of Killua's sealed memories related to Alluka, Killua's memories of playing with Kalluto were also sealed.

To prevent excessive contact between Kalluto and Killua which might cause Killua to recall memories of Alluka

Hiro told Kalluto that until a solution to Alluka's problem was found, he hoped he would not have too intimate contact with Killua.

All of this was for Killua's own good.

Although Kalluto was young, he was very sensible and agreed to help Killua.

Thus

ultimately, Killua and Kalluto's relationship remained like strangers, just as in the original work.

Perhaps there was still a slight difference, which was that Kalluto was even sadder than in the original work.

He had already received Killua's care and affection but it was temporarily sealed away and he could only silently watch the other person from afar every day.

Sigh…

Thinking of the misfortunes of his three unlucky younger siblings Killua, Alluka, and Kalluto Hiro couldn't help but sigh.

And the key to unlocking the heavy shackles on the three of them was actually to prove to the Zoldyck Family

that Alluka, or more precisely, Nanika's ability, would not threaten the Zoldyck Family.

This was also why Hiro had listed rescuing Alluka as a problem that must be solved in his notebook.

"Hey, Hiro, what are you spacing out for? Where's my food!"

Hearing Killua's voice, Hiro snapped back to reality, a smile returning to his face as he said:

"Want food? Have you completed the task I gave you?"

"Now, take these dishes to Kalluto, and give him the lollipop as well.

Come back to me for your food once you're done."

"So annoying, I know!"

Hiro watched Killua walk reluctantly towards Kalluto

and then looked at Kalluto, whose face was flushed with shyness because Killua was walking towards him

and couldn't help but smile like an aunt.

Big Brother can only help you two this much for now.
