Hiruzen knows that Danzo is wrong about a lot of things but he is right about the village situation.
Konoha really have no high end power except for himself. A few years ago we had too much that he indulged Danzo in his scheme against Sukamoto which lead to a disastrous result. Not to mention Kagami. But now Kagami and white fang are dead. Tsunadai is hemophobic and orochimaru is seeking immortality and left the village. Jiraya is disappointed with village and keeps traveling the ninja world to find the child of prophecy and might dai is dead. Although Danzo is slightly stronger than normal jonin, he doesn't reach the high end level.
So because he agrees with him, he is trying a new method and that's by becoming the loved ones for Naruto.
He couldn't become one for mito sama for obvious reasons. For Kushina who was under the protection of mito and tsunade , he was careful not to anger them as the village really didn't need the jinchuriki before. But now that the village needs it and there no obstacles that prevent him from controlling Naruto, he would of course do it.
But Hiruzen really didn't want to make contact with him now. As he was busy with the war , and there's also the Uchiha situation . I don't know when this situation will be resolved.
Meanwhile Naruto who woke up in the spiritual world was confused as where he was.
He was immediately got noticed by Kurama who said.
"Hey , it seems naruto entered the spiritual world."
That caused kushina to stop immediately . Minato and Jack were also surprised, as the situation was surprising and didn't know what's happening.
"Jack, what's going on. Didn't you say that naruto wouldn't come in here until he was 12 years old."
Jack started thinking fast and came to the only possible conclusion.
"The previous Bijūdama may have caused the situation . With the power of the Bijūdama a large amount of chakra escaped the sealing that shouldn't be possible because of the sealing. The explosion may have shocked his spirit that made it possible for it to arrive earlier than expected. But the question now how should we deal with this situation."
They all looked at Jack with a confused look as this was supposed to be a good thing. So why does it seem like Jack not liking the situation.
Jack said.
"If we show ourselves now, it may cause uncontrollable effects. Naruto is only three years old now. He can't keep a secret about us. And even if we unseal kurama , he wouldn't be able to control his power. So it would have to depend on the upper echelons reaction, if they wanted to control Naruto, they wouldn't allow us to exist inside naruto.
I'm sorry to say this but the possibility of them doing something to us is very likely as they would know that we know about naruto situation . So to avoid dangerous situation, they might even kill Naruto if it reached this point."
Kushina said in shock.
"Impossible, they would never that. The third hokage old man wouldn't be so cruel."
Jack looked at Minato and waited for him to express his opinion.
"I also agree with kushina. The sandime wouldn't be so cruel. He might be trying to control naruto but if he knows we are here he would back off and let us handle his situation.
... but Danzo and the other elders are another matter. Especially Danzo. If he really knew about us, he would panic as we what he would call an "uncontrollable variable ". This may lead him to take extreme measures if he deemed it necessary"
Kurama stayed silent about this situation for a while and then said.
"Well, for now, let me meet with him . You hide inside and keep yourself hidden. I will try to teach him how to enter this place so we can meet him in the future."
Kushina wanted to oppose but Minato shook his head as the situation was urgent right now. So she kept silent about it and hide with the others for now.
Jack said
"Good, but intimidate him too as every interaction with him might be seen by a yamanka shinobi so you have to behave like before. And in the end tell him it's too early for you to be in here come by meditation after you learn how you can extract chakra."
Naruto kept moving while feeling scared but he hoped someone to find him so he kept yelling.
"Is there someone here. I think I'm lost . Can someone help me please."
Naruto started to cry as he was yelling and of course his voice reached the others. Kushina kept shaking, while Minato clenched his fist and closed his eyes. Kurama feeling their emotions knew that the situation might not be good if it continued like this so he yelled back even though he wanted naruto to reach here first before answering him.
"Hey , kid . Stop yelling. Your annoying voice wake me up. Come here."
Naruto heard someone and immediately ran towards it as this would be his savior but he stopped on his tracks when he saw the huge cage with kurama inside of it.
He even wanted to retreat because of fear as this was too much for him handle right now.
Kurama of course understood and said a disdainful look.
"Hehehe, is the great Uzumaki Naruto too afraid right now, oh it seems like it's too early for you arrive here. But considering this is our first meeting, I will teach how to enter this place again in the future but don't come here again before you have chakra."
Naruto stayed frozen sitting on the ground but listening non the less . After kurama taught him how to enter this place he said.
"Now do understand, nod if understood so i can tell how to leave this place."
Naruto nodded mechanically and kurama smiled then taught how to get out of here.
After teaching him. Kurama said.
" now try it."
Naruto closed his eyes and tried it. When he opened them again, he found himself in his room again.
He stood up and wanted to get out to tell someone but then he stopped and returned to the bed again.
"Who would I tell right now. And even if I told someone, they wouldn't believe me. Even if they believed me, they would call me fox brat and run away."
He cried at his bed until he fell a sleep.
The situation inside in the spiritual world was also very heavy.
Kushina kept listening to naruto while crying and Minato had tears fall down from his eyes that still closed.
Jack also felt heavy inside but this the best result for now. He looked at the others and then said.
"Okay , I know it's painful but for now let's try to resolve this situation. One thing I learned from naruto that crying wouldn't solve the problem. So hold yourself together."
Minato took a deep breath and came out of his current status really fast and asked.
"What do you want me to do."
"Well, first thing is we need to know what they will do when they know of naruto situation. I expect that have a yamanka try to read his memory but kurama your should be able to prevent this kind of thing right."
"Hehehe, even if they strengthen the seal , as long as foreign chakra invades naruto, they would have to ask my permission first."
"Good, so the only is to ask naruto directly but as we didn't reveal anything, this would lead them to nothing."
Kushina kept silent but Minato was paying attention.
So Jack continued.
"Now, we need solve the spirit transformation technique. I think this should be our main priority if we need to do something about it."
Kushina began immediately after hearing this and started to pay attention to Jack and Minato as they were discussing alternatives to the anchor problem.
So she said." Why not try sealing.this should viable right."
Minato also thought about sealing but it lacked the selective property that is needed for this technique.
Jack however know that that sealing is probably the only solution. But he doesn't know where to begin so he said.
"Well, can you teach fuinjutsui first. While others can think about other solutions."
"But sealing techniques requires a long time to teach. Isn't there a rising situation with the huyga clan leading to hisashi death?."
"Minato, I understand your frustratio but us worried about something we can't deal with is unproductive. But I know about a way to speed up my learning process "
Jack explained that they should take advantage of the huge chakra reserve they have and use multiple shadow clones to learn sealing. That's the only thing they could do.
And so began an intensive course on sealing with multiple clones studying and teaching.
Three days later, Jack has absorbed all the the information about sealing. This was allowed to happen for three reasons.
First is that was an absolute genius.
Second was the unlimited chakra provided by kurama.
Third was Jack soul strength that had been strengthened by being around kurama for years.
Jack noticed the similarities between fuinjutsui and computer codes , so after getting the basics entries for fuinjutsui, he absorbed the rest of fuinjutsui like a sponge.
Minato and kushina were shocked by what they witnessed. They never saw someone that reached their level in such a short time.
After hearing about Jack theories about fuinjutsui. They even got better at it.
The results would have been celebrated for if not for the change that happened to naruto during these three days.
--------------Flash Back -------------
The day after naruto meeting with them. He got out because he was hungry. He went to buy things but the villagers refused to sell him anything.
He returned in sadness and was about to cry when he heard someone knock on the door. He went and opened the door and there was an old man carrying some stuff with him.
He said with a kind smile on his face.
"Hello, naruto. I learned that you wanted to buy somethings from the market today so I brought them to you . your fellow villagers had a bad day today so forgive them as they were in a bad mood today. And from tomorrow you can go buy anything you want."
Naruto was surprised by the sudden visitor and kindness he was shown. He is still child and innocent and this was the first time someone showed him any form of kindness so he was over the moon.
"Thank you."
Naruto said with difficulty as he was fighting the tears that was threatening to fall from his eyes.
"Oh , don't mention it. I'm Hiruzen, you can call me grandpa Hiruzen. You can take these things inside and come with me outside to eat."
Naruto was about to take the things that the old man brought and eat because he was extremely hungry, but when he heard that he wanted to take him out to eat, he was surprised and excited as he saw many children his age with their parents taking them to eat at restaurants.
But he then remembered that once he was curious about eating in a restaurant but no one allowed him inside. It was a bad memory that kept him sad for a long time, so he said.
"Thank granpa, but I would rather eat here. Nothing is better than a home cocked meal."
He said what the caretaker said to him when he asked her to take outside to eat. At that she was a kind woman who took care of him but just before his third birthday, she suddenly changed and became like other villagers. Then on his third birthday, she kicked him out of the orphanage and brought him her saying that here will be his in the future and that because of the orphanage being overcrowded, he needs to live here by himself.
Naruto was confused and didn't understand what's happening. Also there were older boys and girls than him in the orphanage but they didn't have to move.
Naruto kept crying and begging the caregiver but she didn't change her mind in the end and left him here. She told that there is food inside and he have someone deliver him the groceries for two weeks after that he would have to take care of himself by the money that the village provided as support for orphans.
"Naruto, although that's right, but the place I'm taking you to is the best ramen shop in the village. So don't worry "
Hiruzen of course knows what he is thinking about but if Naruto didn't come with him, how could he be the light in Naruto heart.
Naruto still hesitant about going out but when he saw Hiruzen kind smile , he started to move and took the groceries to the inside then got and went with Hiruzen.
During the road he was really nervous but then he noticed something , the villagers didn't show him any glaring hostility. Although they ignored him, they greeted Hiruzen with enthusiasm and respect.
This was the first time he experienced something like that.
"Granpa , how did you make all these respect you so much."
"Hahahaha, it's because I consider them all as my family."
Naruto eyes widened and exiclamed
"You have so many people in your family?!"
"Hahahaha, no I considered them as my family not because we are blood related but because I'm the Hokage "
"Hokage?."
"Yes, the Hokage is the leader of the village and he must consider all of the villagers as his family and must protect them ."
Naruto remained silent for a while then asked
"How do you become a hokage."
Hiruzen laughed and said
"Well, we have arrived, let's eat first."
Naruto being young and hungry he was easily distracted and his focus shifted to the restaurant dilemma.
Although he didn't try to come here before but he was afraid that the owner may refuse to let him eat here even if he is with Hiruzen.
The restaurant is called Ichiraku Ramen shop.
As they entered, they saw an older man standing there with a smile on his face. He welcomed them as he saw them with a kind smile.
"Welcome hokage sama, it's good to see you again."
"Haha, it's good to see you again , Teuchi. How is Ayame doing these days."
"She is fine. Thank you for asking. What would you like to order."
Hiruzen shifted his head to Naruto who was trying to keep a low profile as to not get kicked out but Hiruzen suddenly called him.
" Naruto, what would you like eat to eat."
Naruto was startled by this sudden change and said quickly.
"Anything is fine."
Hiruzen looked at Teuchi and said.
"This Uzumaki Naruto, Teuchi. I invited him to eat outside. This maybe consider his first time, so prepare for use two the best specialty you have."
Teuchi was slightly taken back when he heard the name and looked at the Hokage at first then he shifted to naruto. After a while he smiled again and said.
"Of course, it's nice to meet you Naruto. After this meal you will absolutely become a regular here."
Although Teuchi wasn't a power house, he had enough interactions with with Naruto's parents to connect the dots. This with the request from the anbu that the Hokage was going to eat here with someone made him sure that this was Minato and kushina's son.
Naruto was surprised that the old man didn't kick him out after he heard his name. He felt really nervous as teuchi paused when he heard his name and thought that he was going to kick him out, but Teuchi didn't kick him out and even said that he would become a regular here which means he was welcoming him to come again.
Naruto felt over the moon and happily sat down waiting for the ramen while thinking about the food that would come .
Hiruzen smiled while being satisfied that his plan was working not knowing that there was someone cursing him with every cussing words that ever existed.
That was kushina. She was erupting like a volcano inside.
"That hypocritical mother fucker, Is this how he should honor his promise to take care of our child. I swear if I got out of here, I would shove my foot up in his ass."
Jack and Minato were shocked by the words coming out of kushina mouth, while kurama decided to keep his distance from Kushina.
Because no one knows kushina better than him. Although he knew she was kind, there were many times that she would come inside the spiritual world and pick a fight with him when she was furious about something. Then he would suffer from it.
Kushina also took out a doll that resembled Hiruzen from someplace, and started to hammer a nail on it while say some kind of a curse.
Meanwhile after the meal they thanked Teuchi and Naruto thanked him loudly and promised that he would come back again, Hiruzen took him to stand above the Hokages statues.
He looked at the village and said
"Naruto, you asked before we ate how to become a Hokage. Well, you need one thing. That's the will of fire. "
"Will of Fire?"
"When the tree leaves dance, one shall find flames. The fire's shadow will illuminate the village, and once again, new leaves shall bud."
Naruto has no idea what the old man is talking about. But he didn't want to interrupt him as not to make him angry.
"You may be too young to understand now, but you understand in the future. But first you will to enroll in the ninja academy so you can become a good ninja "
"Ninja?."
"Yeah, when you become six years old that means after three years, you would need to enroll in the academy and graduate to become a ninja. So to facilitate this, I will give you this book that has chakra extraction technique so that you would be able to a head of others if you worked hard. But this book is only for reading but don't try to extract chakra without an adult supervision."
Naruto heard the word chakra and said in surprised voice.
"Chakra..!!!"
Hiruzen noticed something and asked.
"Oh, Naruto. Do you know about chakra.?"
Naruto calmed down and didn't reply immediately so Hiruzen asked again with somewhat a slightly stern voice.
"Naruto, who told you about chakra.?"
Naruto noticed the tone change in Hiruzen voice so he answered with somewhat a broken speech as he was afraid that after he answered, the old man would also alienate him.
"It's ...something I ... I heard about it from a.... huge fox.... that appeared..... in my dream yesterday.... I was really afraid so told to get out of here and don't come back until.....? I extract chakra. I thought I was having a bad dream.... so ... so"
Hiruzen felt a huge shock inside his heart as the earliest someone met with their tailed beast is 10 years old.
But this kidwas only three years old and met with the kyubi . Danzo is going to make a fuss about it again i bet. But we need the sealing team to come to look at his seal and the best sealing team is in the root.
"Oh, calm down, so you had such bad a dream. Don't worry about it. Did the fox tell you anything else?."
Naruto calmed down after seeing the old man return to smile kindly again and told him everything.
"No, nothing else. Oh yeah, the fox taught something about how to get into that place and how to get out."
Hiruzen froze as he doubted what he just heard but then masked it with a smile.
The fox wanted to make contact with naruto. What's his purpose for doing that. Is it because his young age, he thinks he can manipulate him. Although it's advisable for the jinchuriki and tailed beast to make a connection earlier. Naruto is still too young and don't have any loyalty to the village .
I need to consult with others first as I feel like I'm missing something.
"Okay, Naruto I understand. For now don't try to go to that place, even if it's a dream, it might be dangerous."
Naruto also didn't want to go to that place as he was afraid of the huge fox so he nodded.
"Good, now let me take you back home."
Naruto was slightly saddened that he would be back home and their time was nearing its end as this was the best time he ever spent with someone so along the way he kept silent and Hiruzen asked him.
"Naruto, is there something wrong?."
Naruto responded with a sad voice.
"I don't want to go back home as I feel lonely there. So can you spend more time with me."
Hiruzen thought for a while but he was busy so he said.
"Then why don't you try to make some friends. There's a park that kids your age play there."
"They all don't want me to play with me .even their parents tell them not to play with the fox spirit brat. Grandpa, am I really a fox spirit ?"
"No , you aren't. You are Uzumaki Naruto. Your parents were heroes that sacrificed themselves for the village, so don't allow anyone to call you that."
Naruto jumped and asked.
"Did you know my parents granpa. Can you tell me about."
"They were heroes who sacrificed themselves to protect you and the village they love. They named you Uzumaki Naruto as they hoped you would grow up to be an amazing ninja. So you always must be proud of yourself.That's all I can tell you about them for now. When you become a capable ninja who can protect himself, I will tell you the rest."
Naruto was slightly saddened he didn't tell him everything, but knowing that his parent was heroes was enough for him for now as this made him proud.
After he returned to the house he was living in , he tried to read the book that Hiruzen gave him, but as he didn't know any words, he kept looking at the pictures to pass time.
