Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: “The Origin of Everything”

1. The Final Rift

The Origin World wasn't a planet.

It was a wound.

Floating in an endless void, lit by a red sun that pulsed like a heartbeat.

Fragments of cities, temples, memories—all shattered and drifting.

Here, they created us. Me and Zerion.

Here, the Eversoul was born. And here it would die.

I stood on a platform made of broken glass, Elira's voice still echoing in my mind:

"Finish this. I believe in you."

---

2. Reunion in Ruin

She was waiting for me.

Elira stood in front of the Eversoul chamber, eyes glowing dimly.

But something was wrong.

She didn't smile. She didn't run to me.

"Elira?"

"You shouldn't have come," she said.

Then I saw it. A chain of Riftlight wrapped around her heart, pulsing with black energy.

A piece of Seraxion inside her.

"I fought him," she said. "But he's in me now."

I stepped forward.

"I don't care. I'll free you."

"You can't." She shook her head. "If you try… you'll kill me."

I froze.

"Elira, I—"

"I'm not afraid anymore," she whispered. "But you have to make a choice."

Behind her, the Eversoul hovered.

A glowing core of white and violet light—alive, aware, ancient.

And beside it stood Zerion.

---

3. Twin Ultimatum

He looked different.

His hair was longer, floating slightly. His eyes were calm. But there was something… broken in him.

"Jin," he said quietly. "I remember everything now."

"So do I."

"I wanted to hate you," he continued. "For being the one they chose to save. The one they gave memories. Love. A life."

I nodded. "I hated myself for forgetting you."

He smiled sadly.

"Seraxion wants the Eversoul to reshape reality. Rewrite the Rift. Make everything bend to his will. He thinks we are the key."

"We are," I said. "But not for him."

He looked at Elira, then back at me.

"We end this together."

---

4. Seraxion's True Form

The world shook.

From the center of the Eversoul chamber, Seraxion emerged.

No longer a voice. No longer shadow.

He had a body now.

Ten meters tall. Armor made of galaxies. A face that shifted constantly—sometimes mine, sometimes Zerion's, sometimes Elira's.

The devourer of realities.

> "You have returned," he said. "To destroy… or to become."

"We're not becoming anything with you," I said.

He extended his hand.

> "I created you both. From the dream of the first dying star. You are mine."

"No," Zerion said. "We're our own."

Elira took my hand.

We charged.

---

5. The Last Battle

Fighting Seraxion was like fighting gravity.

Each blow he struck felt like reality buckled.

Zerion and I moved in sync—two halves of a forgotten god.

Elira fought like she was already dead, and had nothing to lose.

We struck together—our blades of light and time merging, tearing open his armor.

Seraxion screamed.

But as we struck his core—

He grabbed Elira.

She screamed.

And the chain in her chest snapped tight.

I saw the light leave her eyes.

---

6. Goodbye

She fell to her knees, eyes still open, body trembling.

"Jin," she whispered.

I caught her.

Blood on her lips.

"It's okay," she said. "This is enough. I chose this."

"No," I whispered. "Please."

She cupped my face.

"I love you."

And then—

Her hand fell.

Her eyes closed.

She was gone.

---

7. The Rift Awakens

Something broke in me.

I didn't scream.

I didn't cry.

I rose.

And the Rift rose with me.

Light exploded from the Eversoul, answering my grief, my rage, my love.

Seraxion roared and tried to stop me—

But it was too late.

Zerion stood beside me.

"Together?" he asked.

"Together."

We struck.

---

8. Aftermath

I don't know how long I slept.

Maybe hours. Maybe years.

When I woke up, the Origin World was gone.

So was Seraxion.

So was Zerion.

I stood alone on a hill under a sky that didn't exist before.

The Rift… had healed.

But at a cost.

Elira was still gone.

---

9. A New Dream

I rebuilt the academy.

Not the old one. A new one. Where people from different worlds could study together. A place of peace. Elira's dream.

I named it Moonspire.

Every night, I sit under the stars and talk to her.

I tell her about the students. About how some still struggle. About how sometimes I forget how to breathe without her.

But I always say the same last line:

"I'll find you again. In another world. In another dream. I'll find you, Elira Moon."

And I will.
