Chapter 90 - Chapter 90: Strength is Important, But a Handsome Hairstyle is Too!

Krillin: "No, Tien, you don't understand what I mean. Think about it—when Goku and the others became Super Saiyans, not only did their power skyrocket, but their hairstyles completely changed too!"

Krillin: "Isn't it strange? You're bald—completely hairless. If you ever become a Super Saiyan, wouldn't it be weird? Super Saiyan transformations aren't just about strength. Your hairstyle changes dramatically! And it changes color too!"

Krillin's voice was full of regret as he spoke.

He had thought about it long ago. If only he had let his hair grow out a bit more before integrating Saiyan blood… After all, the longer your hair, the cooler your Super Saiyan hairstyle would be!

Now, even though he had some hair—not as bald as before—it still wasn't long enough to compare to the epic transformations of Goku and Vegeta.

Krillin: "Transformation for a Saiyan means more than just power. Looking cool matters too!"

But there was one issue. He couldn't change his hairstyle anymore.

For pure-blooded Saiyans, hairstyles were set in stone. They didn't change naturally. Even if you cut it short, it would grow back almost immediately into the exact same style and length!

Tien: "So that's what you meant… I see. Still, I don't care much about that. As long as I get stronger, that's enough for me."

Krillin: "But don't you think it's better to be strong and look good? Why not both?"

Tien: "Doesn't matter to me. Besides, there are bald Saiyans. Remember the one who came to Earth with Vegeta back then?"

Piccolo: "You're talking about Nappa. He was strong back then—strong enough to overwhelm all of us. I even died at his hands."

Tien: "Right, him! He was completely bald. If he became a Super Saiyan, wouldn't his appearance stay exactly the same?"

Vegeta: "@Tien, I disagree! Sure, Nappa was bald—but he had a beard! If he became a Super Saiyan, his hair wouldn't change, but his beard might! That alone gives him a slight advantage over you in the looks department."

Tien: "That doesn't bother me. I'm not concerned with appearances. I'm fine if my look stays the same after the transformation, as long as I become stronger."

Beerus: "Typical of you young ones… You care too much about appearances. Once you experience more battles and hardships, you'll learn—appearance doesn't matter. Strength is everything."

Champa: "@Krillin, what exactly changes when a Saiyan transforms?"

Krillin: "@Champa, the physical changes aren't extreme, but the hairstyle transforms drastically, and the hair color changes too."

Krillin: "It might not matter to someone who doesn't care about looks, but I think a cooler hairstyle makes you look more handsome after transforming."

Android 18: "Krillin, I didn't expect you to be part of the 'Appearance Appreciation Society.' You sure care about how you look!"

Krillin: "I'm not that vain, but I do want to look good. Is it wrong to want to be strong and attractive at the same time? That's how I married you, after all. You're so beautiful."

Android 18: "Ugh, you're so annoying, saying things like that in front of everyone…"

Vegeta: "Save your flirting for private! Now that the mission's complete and Tien has Saiyan blood, it's time for my battle with Kakarot!"

Krillin: "Vegeta, don't act like you haven't flirted before. Remember that time you said, 'How dare you touch my Bulma!'—don't think we've forgotten!"

Vegeta: "Krillin, your arrogance knows no bounds. After I defeat Kakarot, you're next!"

Krillin: "Why me? Your strength is already way beyond mine! Beating me doesn't prove anything."

Vegeta: "I'm not beating you to prove anything. I just find you annoying and want to punch your face!"

Krillin: "Sorry, I refuse! I'm not in the habit of volunteering to get beat up."

Vegeta: "Do you think you have a choice? Last time you refused, I let you go. This time, I won't. I'll teach you a lesson you'll never forget! That'll deflate your ever-growing ego!"

Krillin: "Uh-oh… @Lord Beerus, help! Vegeta's bullying me again!"

Beerus: "Honestly? I think it's pretty entertaining."

Champa: "Wow, the thugs in Universe 7 bully their own teammates?"

Beerus: "Oh really, Champa? If that's the case, why don't you come bully the ones in Universe 6 yourself?"

Champa: "Fine, let's make this interesting. Let's pit the unranked thugs of our universes against each other and see which group is stronger!"

Champa: "The rankings on the Thug List don't always represent real strength!"

Beerus: "Alright. I'm game."

Grand Zeno (King of All): "@Jack, hey Jack, can I watch when Beerus and Champa hold this inter-universe showdown? It sounds so fun!"

Jack: "Absolutely, Lord Zeno. I think it'll be a blast. You're not the only one excited—I want to see it too."

Jack knew what this meant.

This wasn't just a brawl between a few cosmic fighters—this was like a parallel to the tournament arc between Universe 6 and Universe 7 from the original timeline. Except now, the participants and circumstances were very different.

Still, it sounded like the perfect way to kill some time—and maybe witness some thrilling battles too.

Grand Zeno: "@Beerus, @Champa, when will you two start the competition?"

Beerus: "@Lord Zeno, we haven't decided yet. Could you suggest a time for us to hold the match?"

Champa: "Yes, Lord Zeno, we're ready whenever you want. Just say the word!"

Grand Zeno: "Hmm… Then I'll decide. @Jack, since you want to watch too, why don't you tell me when it should be held?"

Jack thought for a moment.

It made sense to set a date ahead of time. After all, both universes needed time to prepare. And with the recent formation of the Thugs group, they hadn't had any official events or gatherings yet. This could be their first major spectacle!

Jack replied confidently.

Jack: "Let's schedule it one month from now. That way, both sides can train, strategize, and gather their best fighters. Plus, it'll be the perfect debut for the new group."
