Chapter 3 - System Understanding (1)

"Regen Pod...?" I asked.

—. . .—

{The regen pod is within the infrastructure tab, located as speciallized. It is essential a bed. Removing all problems away during sleep.}

—. . .—

I walked over to the couch as i couldn't stand any longer. Sitting down, with no ease at all.

"How do i access this?"

—. . .—

{Deviant advises leader to say "Shelter Ascension" to access the system mainframe. Deviant also warns, only leaders can see the mainframe unless residents are assigned important roles, they can then see the mainframe. Please choose carefully.}

—. . .—

"Shelter Ascension."

A purple screen popped up.

—. . .—

{The soul cores are collected and are able to purchase things in the Infrastructure tab. To gain a soul core, it has to be hunted down and collected. To receive soul cores, input though the collection tube. Future inhabitants or residents are required to pay 4 F Grade Soul cores to be registered, people only staying for a bit will keep an ongoing payment of 2 F Grade Soul Cores per week. A batch discount is recommended for larger groups, although leader wont get whole amount, it will help future residents be thankful and help around the shelter.}

{The karma points are achieved by helping around the shelter, from cleaning to actively joining the military. Additional, keeping the atmosphere and mood to happy levels boosts all residents to help more. A single resident give 1 karma point.}

{The ascension credits are given when completing major missions, leaders are able to assign or make missions for residents within the military. These go up to 5-1k as of now. EXP is also given when doing missions or recommended objectives.}

I tapped on the Infrastructure. The screen changed

"Uhh... what do i do for Infrastructures?" I asked as i saw two options of each.

{Infrastructures are categorized between Underground and Upperground. You can build, track, repair, and upgrade physical facilities. Farms are recommended as uppergrounds, hydroponics for underground. Additional, as you grade up, you will need resources to build new infrastructure. It is deeply recommended to build all core facilities before reaching Grade E.}

{Tracking will be automatically sense for: Availability, Occupied, Repair, Upgrade, Clean.}

I nodded in understandment. "Ah... I have new 84 F Grade soul cores, and 134 in my backpack..." I muttered.

"How much can I do for now with 218 soul cores?"

The purple screen changed to blue.

{It is recommended to clean the first level.}

I got up from the couch, headed to the first on the left. Entered the power room and walked up to the collection.

Taking my bag off, I took out the soul cores. Placing them in at the same time, as it seemed wider.

[Infrastructures being established]

[Estimated Completion Time: 3 min]

—. . .—

"Oh? Estimated completion time?"

{The estimated completion time is to help understand the how long it will take, it will gradually increase depending on complexity.}

"How nice."

{Indeed!}

I suddenly felt the room shake, holding onto the wall, dust had suddenly fell before it seemed to disappear.

I slid down as I prepared for the incoming earthquake. 'Shit. Shit.'

After a while, it ended.

{Upgrades and Modular add ons are complete! The shelter will shake during the process of the Infrastructure building.}

I sighed deeply.

A green screen appeared

—. . .—

[Shelter Level Increased: 1 > 2]

[Shelter Level Increased: 2 > 3]

—. . .—

"Uh..okay..." I said tiredly.
