"What would it take for you all to just use the front door?"
Leon stated flatly, his gaze fixed on her.
"Oh?" Aisha replied, a smirk forming as she gracefully lifted herself from beside Leon's bed. Her silver hair slid down past her hips, revealing a puffy blue gown, its edges patterned with delicate white flowers.
"You don't look surprised," she continued, pursing her lips into a faint smile. Her silver eyes narrowed as she remained seated on the bed. "You seem to be aware of our arrival…"
"Leon Valentine," she said, "the blessed one of Goddess Silvermoon. Tell me… What is your purpose for visiting my kingdom?"
Aisha spoke earnestly now, carrying the weight of her title. As one of the Calamity Heads of this era, she embodied the authority that came with it.
Leon kept his eyes on her the entire time. He hadn't sensed her entering the room at all.
