Outside, the night turns red as dozens of drones hover above the building, their red eyes glowing like devils in the sky. Soldiers in high-tech gear close in from every direction, rifles aimed, voices shouting commands.
Kira:"They're surrounding us!"
Aran doesn't flinch. He looks around quickly, calculating, eyes scanning every angle — then he sees it: a narrow alleyway in the back. A way out.
He turns to Kira, his voice low but steady.
Aran:"Kira… if I say run, you run. Don't look back. Don't stop. Got it?"
Kira nods, her eyes wide with fear.
Aran looks at the soldiers through the cracked window.He tightens his grip on his blade, takes a deep breath, and whispers:
"1... 2... 3... RUN!"
Kira sprints into the alley.
All hell breaks loose.The drones open fire. Bullets rain down.Aran dives forward, slicing through the first line of soldiers like a shadow, moving with terrifying speed and fury.
But—BANG!
A high-caliber bullet hits him clean in the side.Aran drops to one knee, blood pouring, breathing heavy.
Soldiers shout:"TARGET DOWN! HE'S BLEEDING OUT!"
Aran drops his weapon. His vision blurs. Sirens scream in his ears.
He collapses to the cold, wet pavement.Lying on the ground… motionless.
His inner voice fades in:
Aran (thinking):"...So this is it... I failed… Kira… Sis… I'm coming to you..."
He sees a blurry image in his mind — a memory of his sister smiling, reaching out to him.
Suddenly—
BOOOOOM!!
An explosion lights up the night sky.A drone crashes in flames. Another is shot out mid-air.
SOLDIER (shouting):"WHAT THE—?! WHO'S FIRING?!"
From the shadows, two figures emerge through smoke and fire.
One leaps down from a rooftop, dual pistols blazing — fast, lethal.
Liya — a foreigner, with white hair and combat goggles. Aran's old friend from his time in exile. Cold, fierce, deadly accurate.
The second one storms in from the opposite side, using a stun baton and martial arts to take out three soldiers at once.Her name is Shaggy — Aran's partner. Strong, fast, and reckless.
Liya (shouting):"Get away from him!"
Shaggy:"Touch him again and I'll break your face!"
They fight like a storm. Within minutes, the drones are down and the strike team is in retreat.
Aran lies still... barely breathing.Blood pools around him.
Liya kneels next to him.
Liya (softly):"...You idiot. You said you wouldn't die."
Shaggy (angrily):"He better not. After everything we did to find him..."
The screen fades out slowly as thunder rolls in the distance.
Aran's world goes black.
