Chapter 1 - Chap1 : The Final Piece

ELYSIAN ABYSS

A place where no one remembers why they exist.

Their pasts were erased without mercy the moment they arrived.

No names to recall. No families to miss. No memories to hold onto.

Here, in Elysian Abyss, people aren't people.

They're weapons.

Sharpened to kill, forged in emptiness.

Love? If it exists, it's a passing fever—

a cruel joke whispered through blood-stained hallways.

Most don't survive long enough to understand it.

But among them…

Dreadwolf stands.

A group that, despite the chaos, burns with something more—

rage, purpose, maybe even hope.

And in the end, they'll be the ones to write the final line of this story.

This journey is no dream.

It begins—now.

White light poured softly from the ceiling of a sleek, minimalist room.

The entrance: matte white twin doors with a card scanner embedded in the wall beside them.

Across the room, a compact but fully stocked kitchen gleamed, untouched. A black screen sat flush on the wall opposite, tuned to the central command channel.

Below it, an ivory sofa stretched with precision. Clean. Clinical. Scented faintly of sterility.

On it lay Kaiser—an ocean-blue-haired man, tall and relaxed, a book draped across his chest.

1.87 meters of calm lethargy.

He flipped a page, unbothered by the world.

Tít—a soft door chime rang. He didn't even glance up.

The door slid open.

A woman stepped in—ponytailed, dressed in dark gym wear. Sweat clung to her like second skin, a white towel slung over one shoulder.

Zara.

Also 1.87m, though she walked like the room belonged to her.

She caught sight of Kaiser and grimaced.

"Sprawled there again, huh? Reading that ant-scribble crap? So gifted," she sneered.

The towel flew from her shoulder onto the kitchen counter. It landed with quiet violence.

Kaiser didn't flinch. Another page turned.

Then he tilted his head, just enough to look at her—mocking laziness in his eyes.

"Oh?" he drawled.

"You bored again, or just looking for a fight? Got too much energy and no brain to spend it on?"

He sat up slowly, gaze locked.

"How long d'you plan to skip meals before collapsing? Starve or shut it. My ears need peace."

Zara rolled her eyes, brushing past him like his words were beneath her.

She entered the kitchen.

Just as she did—

"BOO!!"

Mie launched herself from under the table like a hyperactive gremlin. Both arms raised like claws.

Zara didn't even scream—just blinked.

F**king psycho, she thought with a sigh.

She reached out, gave Mie a playful pat on the head—then shoved her back.

Mie froze, like a wind-up doll that got smacked.

One… two… then—

"Zaza should've jumped!" she whined, cheeks puffed.

Zara side-eyed her, sipping water.

"Drop. That. Name." Her voice turned glacial. "Unless you want me to drop you."

Mie plopped into a beanbag, curling up like a sulking cat.

1.76 meters of chaotic energy wrapped in a green bob cut and a pastel dress.

She'd tried nearly every idiotic stunt in this place—and survived by sheer luck.

Still muttering, she said, "No bell today… maybe they forgot…"

Flick! Kaiser snapped his finger on her forehead.

"Why the hell are you wishing for that cra—"

TÍNH TÌNH TINH!

The screen flared to life.

A woman appeared—sharp-eyed, strict, and inhumanly poised.

Sofia.

"Attention all ASN. This is Sofia. Report to Central Hall, Zone A, Floor A01. You have five minutes."

The screen blinked out.

Mie gasped, cupping her mouth. Zara slammed her cup down.

The air chilled.

Kaiser groaned, setting his book aside.

The three moved out.

CENTRAL HALL – A01

Zara stepped in first. The space buzzed—groups gathering, whispering, some bruised, some broken. Addicts. Rookies. Survivors.

Zara scanned them all.

Weaklings.

Her gaze locked onto two familiar faces. She strolled over, voice soft like silk.

"Since when were you two here?"

Dylen turned. 1.92 meters tall, all dark hair and deadpan looks.

"Just arrived," he replied. Behind him, Kaiser and Mie were catching up.

Zara's eyes flicked to the other figure—Roxy.

A slow smile curled on her lips.

"Library again? Turning into Kaiser with those dusty books?" she mocked, leaning close.

Without warning—

click.

A blade pressed cold against Zara's throat.

Roxy didn't even blink.

"So?" she said flatly.

Zara stepped back, scoffing.

"Yawn. No sense of humor."

Roxy sheathed the knife like it never happened.

"Since when did stupid qualify as comedy?"

Long white hair, 1.84m, fox-sharp eyes—Roxy barely ever spoke. But when she did, her words cut deep.

Kaiser glanced toward the hall's center. The silence was wrong.

Too still.

Five minutes ticked down. Then—BOOM.

Doors slammed shut one after another. The entire hall locked down.

A low rumble echoed from above.

A platform descended slowly, stopping just above the ground.

Jet smoke hissed.

Sofia dropped down—white and red armor plating gleaming, boots still smoking.

Her face looked human. Her soul? Gone.

"Silence!" she barked.

The hall froze.

"Some of you ignored orders. You know the price."

She snapped her fingers.

A hologram appeared. Footage rolled—robots electrocuting violators.

Screams played softly. No one moved. Only the newcomers flinched.

The rest watched like it was entertainment.

Dylen yawned, muttering, "God, she's dragging this."

Kaiser elbowed him. "She's watching, idiot."

Sofia snapped again. The screen vanished.

Then she tapped her wrist.

"We welcome a new ASN today," she announced.

Wiki, her robotic assistant, flew in, carrying a box.

The scanner blinked—//SCANNING...//

"Two more seconds," Wiki said.

The box dissolved.

Inside, a young man blinked at the light. Blonde. White hoodie. Eyes adjusting.

Sofia read aloud:

"Name: Landy. Age: 25. Height: 1.79m."

"L-Landy? Me?" he stammered.

Everyone stared. Roxy was deep in thought.

Mie nudged her.

"You picked him, didn't you?"

"Maybe."

"You saw it too?" Mie held her wrist and wiggled it.

Dylen frowned. "What're they talking about?"

Zara threw her hands up. "Hell if I know."

Kaiser crossed his arms.

These two even have functioning brains?

Sofia ordered Wiki to prep the selection screen.

Green displays popped up before each person.

//SELECT//

"You've got five minutes to discuss. Six or more per group—disqualified," Sofia warned.

The Dreadwolf group argued.

"Yes," Mie and Roxy said.

"No," Zara snapped.

"Yes," Kaiser added coolly.

Zara glared. "Why the hell him?"

"You're too dumb to get it," Kaiser replied.

She lunged—but Dylen caught her.

"Cool it. Let them win or lose."

She kept yelling—until data ribbons snapped over her mouth and limbs.

Bound. Silenced.

Roxy caught her, steadying her balance.

"Mie, press it," Roxy ordered.

Mie nodded, grinning.

"TIME'S UP. ONE… TWO… THREE!"

BEEP BEEP BEEP! The hall rang with sharp sounds.

Sofia remained still. Wiki monitored silently.

They didn't need ears. Just data.

Silence fell.

Wiki's voice cut in:

"Two contenders tied. Mie of Dreadwolf. Vory of Viper."

Screens flashed their faces.

Kaiser chuckled. "Green kitty's dead."

Dylen nodded. "Unlucky as hell."

Mie stood frozen.

The platform rose. A square lit up on the floor.

Everyone stepped back.

Mie and Vory entered.

Vory was ridiculous—half pink, half purple hair, with a glowing neon streak.

"Who let this circus in?" Mie muttered.

Vory laughed. "What's this shrimp supposed to be?"

Mie smiled. "At least I have a personality."

Weapons spun.

Result: Daggers.

The two grabbed their blades.

Sofia's voice rang out, cold and final:

"ONE… TWO… THREE!"
