"Are you done? That was pretty quick. Would you like to have a drink with me first? This is wine I got from the Prime Minister—something I couldn't even drink before," said Rebecca to Oliver.
Hearing that even she couldn't drink the wine before, Oliver couldn't help but be intrigued. He walked over and sat across from her.
As soon as he sat down, she prepared a cup for him and poured the wine from the bottle into it.
"Please," she said gently.
Oliver caught a whiff of the wine, and its aroma was beyond his imagination.
It was a deep crimson red, and just smelling it sent a warm sensation through his whole body.
When he drank it, he was taken aback by its taste—far better than he had expected.
He thought it wouldn't be too intoxicating, but it turned out to make his mind and body feel incredibly light and relaxed—yet still clear.
It didn't make him drunk in the usual sense—it made him feel at ease and extraordinarily comfortable.
"Tastes good, right?" Rebecca said.
