With a furious roar, Danzo ripped open his bandaged torso, revealing a complex sealing formula engraved upon his flesh.

In the very next instant, his entire body began to rupture with blood, as violent sealing chakra surged outward to swallow everything nearby.
Jiraiya's expression instantly darkened.
"Not good…! He wants to drag Shigure and Sasuke into death with him!"
Tsunade stepped forward, ready to smash open the sealing barrier with brute force.

Shigure waved a hand dismissively. No grand speeches were needed — they understood each other perfectly.

A Root ninja let his kunai fall with a metallic clink.
His expression twisted — somewhere between relief and sorrow.
Danzo — the man who held their lives under his thumb — was gone.
For the first time…the hidden soldiers of Root could imagine sunlight.

One by one, weapons were dropped. Even the ANBU lowered theirs.
Danzo was gone — which meant Tsunade would inevitably take the Hokage's mantle.
And that meant order.
"That bastard deserved it! Good riddance!"
Some Konoha shinobi laughed.
Others smiled in quiet satisfaction.
Only Kakashi remained serious.
It was fine that Danzo was dead…
But Danzo had been Hokage — even if only for a short time.
And the death of a Hokage…could not simply be brushed aside.
The barrier slowly lifted.
Jonin stepped in, encircling Shigure and Sasuke.
This wasn't revenge — it was a matter of the village's dignity.
If Konoha didn't act, the world would think their Hokage could be killed without consequence.
All eyes fell on Tsunade.
She hesitated — lips trembling — uncertain what to say.
Jiraiya leaned closer, voice low and stern:
"Tsunade. If you stay silent now… you're not fit to be Hokage."
To lead Konoha, she needed to assert the will of the village.
"Danzo is dead."
Her first declaration echoed across the field.
Root and ANBU turned toward her — accepting her authority.
"But the ones responsible for assassinating Konoha's Hokage cannot be allowed to leave.
Kirigakure shinobi, Shigure — you are not permitted to leave Konoha!"
The peaceful moment shattered.
"Tch… what a buzzkill." Sasuke muttered.
Shigure rubbed his temple, annoyed.
"Well… we did stop being Konoha shinobi. Didn't we?"
"Arrest them!"
Tsunade's voice cracked like a whip — and every Konoha ninja moved.
Surrounded.
Outnumbered.
A storm about to break.
