A shadow moved behind the trees. Not fully visible, just gliding through the mist. Auren's heart raced, his breath shallow and fast.
"Who… who are you? Where… where am I?" he whispered, panic clawing at him.
A figure stepped forward. Long black hair, flowing like ink. Pale face, sharp features. Her presence swallowed the light.
"You are in the second world," she said, voice calm, yet slicing like ice. "Known as the Dark Reaper. Doesn't matter how long you lived in your world—it counts as only one second here."
Auren froze, his jaw slack, eyes wide like a soul about to leave its body. A soft, steady black mist curled around him, trapping him in place.
"Ohhh, sweet boy… don't be so scared," the woman whispered, stepping closer. "You are one of the suspects of Ash Phantom. Our job is simple: kill all suspects before he reawakens. When I kill you, you'll vanish from your world. As if you never existed. A calming process, really."
