Chapter 335 - Chapter 335: The Divine is unquestionable

A terrifying pressure descended upon Yvraine.

The High Priestess felt as though she had been plunged into an ice cellar. Her body began to tremble violently, and her knees hit the ground.

Sweat soaked her back almost instantly. At that moment, Yvraine's eyes held nothing but fear as she looked up at Axis with a gaze full of terror.

Only then did she realize that the man had not even been trying. The pressure she felt previously had been kept within a range she could withstand.

But if that limit were exceeded, she knew she would be utterly unable to endure his terrifying aura.

Her pitifully small amount of pride vanished in an instant.

"Little girl, first I need to explain something to you.

"In this world, only the strong are fit to master their own destiny. I am the strong one, and you are the weak one. Therefore, if I say one, it is one.

"If I say two, it is two. Furthermore, I already have a wife, and I love her with all my heart. I have absolutely no interest in you," Axis stated.

This young woman's stubborn personality had actually earned her a glance of appreciation from Axis, but just because he appreciated her grit did not mean she was allowed to bargain with him.

That was impossible.

Others might show tenderness to the fairer sex, but he would not. In this world, the weak had no right to control their own fate.

Just how strong was Axis at this moment? To put it bluntly, which of the four Chaos Gods would dare to challenge him one-on-one?

Axis had transformed into a Super Saiyan God, and not a half-hearted version like Kakarot.

He was a complete god. After three hundred years of mastering the application of divine power, both his physical body and soul had undergone a total sublimation.

When combined with his Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline and the primordial pressure generated by his form, no mortal life form could withstand his presence.

"Lord Axis, I merely wished to master my own destiny. I do not want to marry that man named Guilliman. We are not even compatible! He is three-point-six meters tall. I would die at his hands. If you insist on an alliance with the Eldar, then I could become your son's wife. What do you think?" Yvraine pleaded.

It was a grave miscalculation.

She had thought her earlier display of stubbornness might win his favor, but it now seemed this man had absolutely no interest in her in that regard.

Since that was the case, she had to settle for the next best thing.

"My son's wife is a Living Saint of the Empire. Your marriage partner is the human Primarch, Roboute Guilliman. This is the last time I will remind you. Do you understand?" Axis crouched down, looking down at the female Eldar from his elevated position.

Throughout this exchange, the Eldar God of the Dead, Ynnead, did not speak a single word to his own High Priestess.

In his view, Axis's attitude was already lenient.

To talk back to a god was offense enough for Yvraine to return to his embrace.

Ynnead remained silent because no one could insult a god, and no one could challenge the dignity of a god. It was that simple.

"I... I understand," Yvraine said through grit teeth.

She decided to let it go.

The Primarch Roboute Guilliman was not a terrible choice. Although they had only met once, Yvraine actually harbored a tiny bit of goodwill toward him.

She found this strange and even suspected Axis might have used some special sorcery to induce this feeling.

"Do not doubt it, Yvraine. You and the human Primarch Roboute Guilliman are destined to be together. Your union is a good thing for both the Eldar and humanity. You will become the Consort of the Imperial Regent, bringing good fortune to our entire race," Ynnead said, specifically emphasizing the title.

The God of the Dead felt his believer's brain was a bit muddled.

Axis was powerful, and she had no qualifications to be his divine queen.

As for Axis's son, he was destined to return back to their universe.

Yvraine was his High Priestess. If she went to another universe, it would be tantamount to betrayal.

Therefore, becoming Roboute Guilliman's Consort and gaining a supreme status within the Human Imperium was the most important path.

"Great God of the Dead, do you mean to say I truly have a destiny with the Primarch Roboute Guilliman?" Yvraine asked with a look of surprise.

"There is no need for doubt. I have seen glimpses of the future. You will come to like this Primarch very much," Ynnead assured her.

The humans had chosen Yvraine for a reason.

The Emperor of Mankind and this god named Axis must have also seen fragments of the future.

"I understand…Lord Axis, I apologize for my offense earlier. I was merely trying to fight for a little freedom of choice," Yvraine said.

Since her God had spoken, the last of her doubts vanished. She decided to use this opportunity to get to know Roboute Guilliman properly.

"I forgive your rash behavior, but only this once. As for your concern that your body cannot withstand the power of a Primarch, that is easily solved," Axis smiled. He took a fruit from the Tree of Might out of his personal dimension and handed it to the High Priestess.

Ordinary Aeldari had physical capabilities not inferior to Firstborn Space Marines, and the elite among them could even wrestle with Primaris Space Marines.

As the High Priestess of Ynnead, Yvraine had died once in Commorragh, killed by Lelith Hesperax, the Queen of the Arena.

After being resurrected by the God of the Dead, her physical capabilities were far superior to ordinary individuals, comparable even to the Custodes.

But even so, she could not withstand a direct assault from a Primarch.

As the party responsible, Axis naturally had to find a way to enhance her physical constitution.

Otherwise, Guilliman might accidentally kill someone on their wedding night.

A fruit from the Tree of Might would solve all problems.

This specific fruit Axis produced was not grown from the original seeds from the Dragon Ball universe.

Instead, it was a second-generation fruit cultivated from seeds harvested from a tree planted in the Warhammer universe. Its effects were slightly stronger than the juice version he produced.

"This is called a Fruit of the Tree of Might. It is a divine fruit that will drastically increase your vitality and physical constitution. When you handle matters with Guilliman, you will be absolutely safe," Axis explained.

"Oh! That sets my mind at ease. You know, if we are husband and wife in name only without that relationship, our bond won't be very strong," Yvraine said openly.

In truth, the souls of those who joined the Ynnari were already protected by Ynnead. Even if they engaged in carnal acts in the material universe, Slaanesh would not be able to drain their souls.

Moreover, her marriage to Guilliman was backed by the powerful figure before her. If her soul were drained by Slaanesh, it would be a slap in Axis's face.

Axis looked at the women strangely, where was the fiery attitude from earlier? How come it seemed like she couldn't care less now?

Not that he minded.

"Eat the fruit now and see the effects," Axis said with a nod.

"Thank you for your gift, Lord Axis."

Under Axis's gaze, Yvraine ate the fruit directly. Immediately, a terrifying surge of life energy flowed through her limbs, coursing through her body and reinforcing the High Priestess's flesh.

Yvraine floated into the air. Her level of existence was shifting.

She transformed from a being infinitely close to a demigod into a true demigod, completely breaking free from the limitations of the Eldar race.

Her height even increased slightly, reaching about two and a half meters. Her skin became paler and smoother, her appearance even more radiant and beautiful.

"Incredible! My body... my body has undergone tremendous changes. I am ridiculously strong now. I can feel powerful life energy flowing through me," Yvraine gasped deeply.

She clenched her fists, feeling her newfound power. Her physical strength was at least ten times greater than before.

It was perfect.

Indeed, obeying the will of a god yielded far more benefits than defying one. She felt she had been so foolish earlier. It was just marriage, after all. Who she married didn't really matter.

"Your physical constitution is now perfectly capable of keeping a Primarch bedridden. Go take care of Guilliman with confidence. I have high hopes for you," Axis said.

"Oh! In that case, Your Highness Axis, I actually think that if I could have one more, I guarantee that every time Guilliman engages me at night, he will lose thoroughly," Yvraine said.

Lord Axis seemed to have a certain mischievous interest in Guilliman. But that didn't matter; this was something she was good at. The Eldar had many ways to play.

"Hahaha! That's the spirit! Here, take a few more as a reward!" Axis laughed and took out three more second-generation fruits, handing them generously to Yvraine.

Later, when Guilliman could no longer handle this fiery Eldar woman and his body began to fail him, Axis planned to give Guilliman some fruits to help him fight back.

"In the future, your relationship will be very solid.

"You know, a man changes once he has his own child," Axis said.

"The probability is still very low. There is indeed reproductive isolation between Eldar and humans. It is not impossible to produce offspring, but the chance is infinitely close to zero," Ynnead remarked.

"If the Goddess of Life helps, utilizing her life energy, it will be absolutely no problem for you and Guilliman to have a child," Axis stated.

He didn't just want to film Guilliman's wedding; he intended to ensure the creation of Guilliman's biological son.

"Your Highness Axis, do you mean... you intend to help us rescue the Eldar Goddess of Life?" Ynnead looked at Axis in shock.

"Correct. The life energy of the Goddess of Life is a valuable treasure. It is very important to me, so I will rescue her," Axis confirmed.

Just her ability to help him tend to the divine fruit trees was crucial. Furthermore, with slight modification, the Goddess of Life could become a Supreme Kai.

She was the only deity in the entire universe with such a gift for controlling the Life Force. This was a talent other Eldar gods simply did not possess.

As for Grandfather Nurgle, the big green fatty? Axis had no interest in him.

"If that is the case, the Laughing God and I can assist in this matter," Ynnead said with excitement.

Axis smiled at the offer.

Assistance was expected, but once the Goddess of Life was out, she would no longer belong to the Eldar. He intended to take her with him.

"Rescuing the great Mother Goddess is the responsibility of every Eldar. I must participate as well," Yvraine added.

"You can indeed help a little with this matter," Axis agreed.

It was the perfect opportunity to use the Plague Wars to have some fun with Nurgle.

While the two gods and the High Priestess discussed their plans, only the warrior in red armor stood apart, nursing a broken heart.

He had completely lost his beloved student. That affection was now over, forever.

"Ynnead, I can create a suitable vessel for you through some means. This body will allow you to exert great power in the material universe. Are you interested?" Axis asked.

With the God of the Dead manifesting, the Chaos God most anxious right now should be Slaanesh. After all, prophecy foretold that Ynnead was the god destined to kill She Who Thirsts.

"If that is possible, I would be endlessly grateful," the Eldar God of the Dead replied.

"You're welcome!" Axis smiled.

He took out a seed of a second-generation Saibaman and began the planting process right there in the chamber where Guilliman slept.

Violently tearing up the floor to reveal the soil beneath, he planted the seed.

He then produced a bottle of juice pressed from second-generation Tree of Might fruits and poured it over the soil as a nutrient solution.

He had Yvraine shed some blood to provide the gene sample for the seed.

Afterward, Axis injected his own powerful life energy and infused the spirit of the God of the Dead into the seed.

Moments later, a three-meter-tall divine Eldar being was born.

Ynnead, now possessing a physical body in reality. The only difference between him and the Goddess of Life was the lack of Ki.
