Chapter 383 - Chapter 383: Traversing Realities with a Chaos God

"Oh? Is that so? Tell me what new discoveries you have." Khorne was immediately interested.

As one of the chaos gods ruling the wrap, he knew almost everything that occurred throughout the universe. However, he knew absolutely nothing regarding the intelligence possessed by Axis, this existence from another world.

In Axis, he saw something that could take him further and make him stronger.

"You must be mentally prepared first," Axis said. "I have to step into your domain to enter your territory within the Warp."

"Come over then! I will open a direct path to the Brass Throne for you." Khorne nodded, unleashed his powerful Chaos divine power, and carved a passage directly within the Webway.

Axis nodded, transformed directly into Super Saiyan God mode with crimson divine power burning around him, and entered the Warp.

After travelling for a while, Axis successfully arrived at the Brass Throne. It was a blood-red world, and the crimson aura radiating from Axis formed a stark contrast to the surroundings.

The Warp was the Sea of Souls. Logically, a Sea of Souls belonged to the spiritual level, but physical aspects existed here because life from the physical universe could enter it.

It was precisely because of the existence of the Warp that many civilizations could achieve interstellar travel.

Otherwise, a civilization might remain trapped on its mother planet for a very long time, unable to navigate the universe until they mastered super-light travel or possessed extremely long lifespans.

After becoming a deity, Axis had entered the Warp many times to sense everything within the Immaterium.

It seemed somewhat similar to Hell in the Dragon Ball world, yet different.

"You have become different. Axis is stronger than before. How long has it been since we last met? Your strength has improved again. You really bring me surprises," Khorne said.

Unlike these Chaos Gods, whose strength claimed to increase every moment, for instance, as long as there was blood, war, and slaughter in this universe, his strength would endlessly increase, the reality was not so. This growth was actually extremely slow, even to a hair-raising degree.

Furthermore, time concepts did not exist in the Warp, so they could not rely on the length of their existence to accumulate more power than their rivals; otherwise, he, as the first born Chaos God, would have eliminated the others long ago.

"Khorne, here is the situation. I have a major suspicion... and after conversing with the Emperor, I am more convinced of this view... Afterward, I came to see you and learned the circumstances of your birth... Now I am almost certain my guess is real." Axis laid out his hypothesis and all the evidence before Khorne.

Silence. There was only silence.

The entire blood-red world churned endlessly, and the Brass Throne began to tremble violently. The massive daemon sitting atop it felt incredibly complex emotions.

"Impossible. Axis, you must be mistaken! We cannot have been created by the Old Ones. The theory you mentioned earlier might be true; these guys might have established an experimental ground outside the galaxy, but the few of us are definitely not their puppets." Khorne denied part of Axis's speculation but admitted to certain things.

First, he indeed acknowledged there was a problem with this galaxy, as if everything had been set up, but he could not admit that he and the other entities were created by the Old Ones.

"Is that so? Are you truly that certain? If you are ancient Chaos Gods, how many billions of years has the universe existed? How big is the whole universe? To put it bluntly, your territory compared to the whole universe is like a grain of sand on a planet, perhaps even more ridiculous than that."

Axis continued, "We humans once proposed a hypothesis: a colony of ants is kept in a glass tank. Ant scientists discover the chandelier overhead and believe it is the sun. They understand the glass container they inhabit as the planet and the glass cover as the atmosphere. The ant scientists interpret turning off the lights as sunset and conclude that they evolved naturally." Axis recounted the famous Ant Scientist theory.

"This is different! The Warp is immense. It is the Sea of Souls, a mysterious place born since time immemorial!" Khorne roared.

"Believe it or not, you actually already have an answer in your heart. You simply aren't willing to accept it. Otherwise, why would you need to get angry at me?" Axis sneered and retorted directly.

"Then, if it is truly as you say, why did the Old Ones do this? Is it simply for fun? Just to keep us as pets to be raised? But haven't you been to parallel universes? If, as you say, parallel universes exist, how could the Old Ones not have explored them? Since you proposed this hypothesis, can I not propose one? Everything you know, all the information you are aware of, is merely what someone wanted you to think. Your memories might even be false," Khorne argued.

"My everything isn't fake, because the things I can produce prove all of this." Axis sneered, took out a summoning device from his pocket dimension capable of summoning the God of Destruction from the Dragon Ball universe, and showed Khorne the Destruction Energy inside.

Upon sensing this purple energy, Khorne felt unwell. The energy within was terrifying.

As a Chaos God, he felt a power that could kill him from this energy, a power that could utterly and thoroughly destroy him. But this should have been impossible!

Because they existed in the Warp and were bound to it; as long as the Warp did not perish, they were immortal.

"If it is truly as you guessed, then why do they not move against you?"

"Because the Old Ones likely want to obtain the method to escape, or should I say, transcend, this universe from my hands!" Axis replied.

Wasn't it simple? A race that had developed to the apex of the universe, perhaps even capable of opening the multiverse within their own world, how could they be willing to remain limited to this?

It was just like after humans explored the vast universe outside Earth; how could they not want to leave Earth to view the broader world outside?

"Even knowing all this, what is the meaning, Axis? If it is as you say, the Old Ones should facilitate what you want, letting you grow faster to the point where you can cultivate the Fruit of the Gods. You should have consumed the Fruit of the Gods sooner," Khorne said.

"Indeed. If I open a portal connecting to another universe and keep it stable for over thirty hours, could you leave the Warp through this portal, head to another universe, and perhaps even meet another you?" Axis asked.

"No. I cannot leave the Warp. Since my birth, my mind automatically knew this information. Although we are incomparably powerful, we can only send avatars to the material universe forever. We are absolute insulators to the material universe; we cannot even go to real space, let alone another world," Khorne explained.

"I'm not talking about the material space of another universe, but the Warp of another universe. Have you tried that?" Axis asked.

"I haven't actually tried that. I'm not sure, but if it is the Warp, theoretically, I could go over," Khorne said.

"Then isn't that settled? Let's try it!" After Axis spoke, he waved his hand to slice open a giant portal, using his powerful divine force to tear apart the barrier between two universes.

While they were called two universes, they were actually integrated within a greater cosmos, merely separated by timelines.

This time, Axis opened the area to the Warp of the other universe. Khorne sensed the aura on the other side. His massive daemonic body stood up, wanting to cross the portal, but an invisible force restricted him.

"It won't work. I feel that I can survive in the other universe's Warp, but an invisible force seems to bind me, preventing me from leaving," Khorne said.

It was a strange sensation. He clearly felt he could exist in that other Warp, but a shapeless power held him back.

It was as if a specific rule restricted his freedom, keeping a large fish from moving to another patch of sea.

"A restriction. That is because you aren't strong enough, Khorne. You can survive in the other universe's Warp, but you must temporarily sever the connection with this place first." Axis approached Khorne.

His body emitted an even more terrifying aura of the gods, and his color shifted from crimson to a deep blue, a blue that was even more vivid.

Rules were meant to be broken, and so-called fate was meant to be transcended. Axis used his powerful divinity to physically push Khorne, forcing this Warp Chaos God into the Warp of the other universe. He then forcibly closed the portal.

He had taken the Khorne of his own universe to another world.

After Axis took away Khorne, one of the four Chaos Gods, the Emperor upon the Golden Throne and the other three Chaos Gods all perceived that Khorne's aura seemed to have vanished completely.

The Emperor immediately realized that Axis, that kid, had done something massive again.
