Chapter 388 - Chapter 388: Thrashing the Grandfather

How was this possible? He was actually injured. Scars had been left upon him. For the first time since his genesis, Nurgle, the Chaos God, revealed an expression of disbelief. He had never suffered such humiliation since the moment of his birth.

"Ah! How dare you? How dare you harm my magnificent form? How dare you injure a God?"

A cold sneer touched the corners of Axis's mouth. Harming his body? Even if Axis did not strike now, in the future, the Emperor, or perhaps the Dark King, would use Roboute Guilliman's body to inflict heavy damage upon Nurgle during the Plague Wars.

That blow would leave indelible scars. Axis's attack was merely slightly more vicious in the immediate moment.

That four-colored divine light possessed not only peerless destructive power but also a special attribute of "purification" that countered Nurgle's laws of plague and decay. It was the power of life rules from a completely different universe.

In the beginning, the Ki Axis possessed was ordinary. But after all these years, Axis's Ki had thoroughly matured into God Ki. Beyond containing powerful life energy, it possessed immense destructive force. After all, a Saiyan's Ki was born for destruction and ruin.

"It's my turn."

Axis's figure vanished instantly. It was not high-speed movement, but something akin to a spatial jump. In the next second, he appeared at the side of Nurgle's colossal, pus-dripping green head. His fist, wrapped in divine flames of gold, green, red, and blue, struck like a burning comet. Carrying divine power that cleansed all filth, it bombarded Nurgle's skull.

"Arrogance! Do you truly believe you can destroy me this way? I am invincible within the Warp. I am immortal." Nurgle roared.

Countless plague swamps within the Garden boiled instantly, transforming into hundreds of millions of dark green tentacle spikes that stabbed at Axis from all directions.

Simultaneously, Nurgle's massive head jerked aside, attempting to evade the fatal blow.

However, Axis's speed and power in his Legendary Super Saiyan Blue form had reached an inconceivable realm.

His fist traced a profound arc through the air, ignoring the plague tentacles capable of piercing divine bodies.

They were forcibly purified and disintegrated the moment they neared the four-colored divine flame. The blow imprinted itself with absolute precision upon the rotting neck exposed by Nurgle's dodge.

"Fist of Divine Fury! Followed by a flurry of haymakers!"

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Axis's fists created thunderous crashes like the splitting of heaven and earth.

Light of gold, green, red, and blue erupted at Nurgle's neck, forming a massive, rotating vortex of energy that began to tear at Nurgle's Warp form.

The Chaos God's body, incredibly resilient and filled with endless vitality and decay, was blasted open, revealing a terrifying crater over a hundred meters in diameter.

Viscous, pitch-black divine blood, reeking of ultimate foulness, sprayed out like a dam collapse. Countless Plague Daemons and Nurglings floating within it were instantly crushed and purified by the terrifying shockwaves and the flood of divine blood.

"Roar!"

Grandfather Nurgle unleashed a howl unprecedented in his existence, a mixture of agony and rage.

The entire Garden of Nurgle trembled and wailed. Countless daemons were instantly reduced to primordial power and reabsorbed by Nurgle, while weaker ones were simply shattered by the vibrations.

Deep fissures tore through the rotting earth, and boiling pus and blood surged toward the sky. The entire garden was collapsing. The Grandfather's colossal body was knocked backward by this incomprehensible power that he could not easily absorb or convert. For the first time, he nearly collapsed to the ground.

Axis was unforgiving in his advantage. His figure vanished again, instantly appearing above the tilting Nurgle.

He raised both hands high, frantically gathering the four-colored divine light. It coalesced overhead into an immense energy sword, vast enough to seemingly sever a galaxy.

Gold-green wild lightning, red divine flames, and blue starlight intertwined on the blade, radiating an aura of destruction and sanctity that made the entire Warp tremble.

"Eat this, shithead!" Axis could not be bothered to invent an impressive name.

The colossal sword, carrying the will to judge all things, chopped down upon the toppling Nurgle. Where the blade passed, the Warp was sliced cleanly open, revealing a pitch-black eternal rift. The filthy laws of Nurgle's Garden were forcibly torn apart and purified.

This strike silenced the Nurgle region of the Warp. All supreme beings peering at this battle, whether the other Chaos Gods or the Corpse Emperor upon the Golden Throne, were shaken by Axis's power.

That alien Saiyan named Axis had actually driven Nurgle, the Chaos God renowned for defense and vitality, into a desperate corner within his own domain.

The Super Saiyan bloodline, catalyzed by divinity, erupted with a terrifying might capable of shaking the very foundations of the Warp.

The tide of battle had completely reversed the moment Axis transformed into Legendary Super Saiyan Blue.

The energy of the Warp was abundant. Although the Grandfather's body was destroyed by Axis, it reassembled once more.

It appeared that with his terrifying immortality, it was only a matter of time before the Grandfather turned defeat into victory.

But was that truly the case? Axis's attacks were not futile. Every punch was laced with divine power, and this specific divine power harmed Warp Gods. Once the damage reached a certain limit, they would collapse.

There was no such thing as an absolute immortal body in this world. Any existence, anyone, could be defeated and destroyed.

Unlike the heaven-destroying commotion of Axis's battle against Nurgle, the other three battlefields were somewhat quieter.

The avatar of the Corpse Emperor appeared to be gaming against Tzeentch, or perhaps discussing and plotting something.

Khorne was distracted by the version of himself from another universe.

He sent a large number of Greater Daemons to pursue and kill, but since their powers shared the same origin, these Bloodthirsters dared not attack the Khorne that Axis had brought over.

The current Khorne only placed a small fraction of his attention on the battle between Axis and Nurgle. The vast majority of his focus remained on his alternate self.

Why did that other self possess a perfect body? Why could he move freely within the material universe?

No, I must seize that body.

As for the battlefield of the Eldar God of Death and Slaanesh, it was rather peculiar. According to prophecy, Ynnead, the God of Death, should have been born from within Slaanesh, bursting forth to kill this Chaos God. Theoretically, he was a god born from Slaanesh, a son of Slaanesh, or something else entirely.

But because of Axis's intervention, Ynnead was born prematurely. Although he appeared in the material universe, his power was far inferior to that of a Chaos God.

However, he possessed his own perfect divine body, something Slaanesh lacked, which provided a physical augmentation. Even the most powerful Keeper of Secrets, Shalaxi, could not defeat the Eldar God of Death before him. Not even with the addition of Slaanesh's mightiest Daemon Prince, Fulgrim.

"I really must thank Axis, that existence from another universe, young God of Death. Originally, you and I were completely opposed. You should not have been born, for your birth meant my death. But who could have guessed that Axis would drag you out of the void in a different manner! Although you have successfully been born, your prophecy can never be fulfilled now, and I am completely safe." Within the Eye of Terror, Slaanesh let out a peel of coquettish laughter.

This situation was actually beneficial to Slaanesh. The inevitability of the God of Death bursting from within had always been a source of anxiety; otherwise, She Who Thirsts would have devoured the Eldar race long ago.

"The prophecy will be realized, just in a different way. You will eventually die by my hand, Slaanesh. My birth signifies your demise. I possess the power to kill all things." The Eldar God of Death declared, wielding his divine sword.

Although the method of his birth was not perfect, it was sufficient. At the very least, Slaanesh could do absolutely nothing to his body that walked in the material universe, which was a tremendous advantage.

"Hahaha, your current power is, at best, that of a powerful lesser god. Even having a physical body matters not, because you will never dare to enter the Warp again. The moment you enter, I will kill you." Slaanesh laughed terrifyingly.

"Is that so? But I possess infinite potential. I can feel this body becoming stronger, and I myself will become stronger. Until the day comes when I can surpass you and kill you." Ynnead retorted.

Anyone could make threats. If this perverted hermaphrodite truly didn't care, Slaanesh wouldn't be meeting him in the Eye of Terror.

Slaanesh was still very afraid of him, afraid that he would complete the legendary prophecy.

"Then how about I propose a compromise? Surrender to me. Join my domain. I will spare the Eldar who follow you and allow you to continue receiving their faith. You will not be my Daemon Prince, nor my Greater Daemon, but a True God under my command.

"I could even let you be my husband, nominally speaking. After all, strictly speaking, I am also an Eldar Goddess." Slaanesh offered a middle path.

"Do not disgust me, monster. Are you a female? You possess no gender at all; how could you marry me?" The Eldar God of Death wore an expression of disgust.

To think this pervert could come up with such a thing.

You are no Eldar Goddess. The only remaining Goddess of the Eldar is Isha, the Goddess of Life. You are nothing but a perverted, dead hermaphrodite.

"How do you know if you don't try? And this is only in name. You have your fun, and I have mine." Slaanesh scoffed.

Retaining only one gender meant losing so much joy. You guys didn't understand enjoyment at all. You would never experience that ultimate pleasure, that ultimate happiness, the peak of euphoria.
