Outside the house, Goten kneeled near a river, the smooth flowing water showing his reflection. The corner of his lips was tugged into a smile as he looked up.
Near the river, Chichi was putting wet claws on a line to dry. Her face was beautiful, a smile radiating brighter than the sun to Goten. The wya she hummed a song as she did the job was amazing...
Chichi suddenly looked at Goten, sensing his gaze on her face. She did not know what had happened, but Goten had been watching her from the moment she had seen him this morning.
Chichi hid it in her heart, but she felt happy that he was looking at her. She did not tell anyone; this was her scariest and most hidden desire. She can't trust herself, he looked too similar to Goku...
"Goten, what is wrong? Do you want to help mummy?" Chichi asked with a smile, a tiny blush on her face. Goten got up like a straight nail as he rushed towards her.
"Yes! I wanna!" Goten said with a childish-like face. Rudo did not act; he was too excited to be near Chichi. He knew she was his mother now, but he was an adult man, after all...
He turned into what he feared most...
A simp!
The time passed as Chichi and Goten did the laundry, cleaned the house, and helped Chichi wash the dishes. Sometimes, he assisted her by getting things and following her instructions, and it was fun.
Chichi was also engrossed in their time. She had never spent time with Goten or anyone before doing these kinds of things. Goku would never do laundry or cleaning with her, and Gohan used to be away as a child most of the time, or studying.
The time passed, and the time came for their evening Spar.
Goten panicked.
Rudo knew how to fight due to having to fight every day for 10 years. This is against Chichi, who was an experienced fighter who could blow up the moon.
There is no way Chichi does not have a power level over 500 at this point. She would have become the strongest human if she had kept training, her talent above every other human in the series.
Gohan is proof.
She had stopped training the moment she married Goku, instead preferring to do housework and take care of their family. This made her not improve much.
But stronger than the start of Dragon Ball, Roshi.
"Are you ready, Goten? Remember, I will not stop until you tell me to, so shout out a stop if you need," Chichi said with a serious face, standing in a turtle-style stance, copied from her dead husband.
Chichi and Goten had begun sparing when he had turned six years old, and that had been a month ago. Rudo did not know this, however, as he brought his hands up like a boxer.
Chichi remained silent since Goten had not yet learned the Turtle Style. She glanced at Goten and nodded before dashing forward at a speed too fast for the human eye to follow.
Suddenly, Goten felt a surge of energy as time seemed to freeze. His pupils turned red, and Chichi froze in place, time slowing down around them like a scene from a DC comic featuring a speedster.
At this point. Goten probably did not have a power level over 500. But due to the unknown mutation in Goten's body, his power increased tenfold, reaching 5,000.
"Huh? Time looks frozen..." Goten said as he moved forward. His power level increased by 10 times in base, reaching a staggering 50,000 base power level due to the form he was in.
Goten moved around Chichi, reaching the running river. Goten smiled as he looked down, only to jump back as he saw his blood-red pupils. Looking back down, Goten felt the increase in power, clenching his fist in amazement.
"What is this form? My hair looks to have a red tint to it, and I can feel my energy not draining..." Goten muttered to himself with excitement as he stood up before walking back to his place in front of Chichi.
Time returned to normal, and Goten blocked Chichi's punch with a deflect. His martial arts skills caused Chichi to jump back in surprise, and Goten smiled.
Goten had used minimal movement; instead, with a sharp push, Chichi's punch changed direction, and weirdly enough, Goten knew accurately how much force was needed, and could put out the exact force.
'Perfect control of body?' Goten thought as he added that to his list of powers. Chichi looked at Goten and suddenly froze as she noticed his red pupils.
"Goten! What happened to your eyes? Did you get hurt?" Chichi rushed towards him, the concern in her tone overflowing as she touched his shoulders.
"I don't know, mum. But I feel strong... Like 10 times as strong," Goten said with a smile, clenching his fist before flexing his biceps. Due to his Saiyan physiology, he had a tiny amount of lean muscle.
"I-Is this Super Saiyan?... Is my baby turning into a delinquent?" Chichi asked with wet eyes as she fell to her knees. Goten rushed forward, enveloping her in a hug.
Goten was serious, his heart beating like a drum as he noticed the sad look on her face. He knows why she is unhappy, but he does not like seeing her like this.
"It's okay, Mum. I will not become a delinquent. I am going to be an engineer and become rich to support you. I promise I will not be a delinquent," Goten promised, causing Chichi to look at him with wide eyes.
"Goten... You are my baby," Chichi said with a smile on her face, pulling his head into her breasts as she felt her heart beating like a drum. She blushed, looking at the top of Goten's head.
Goten smiled, his heart accelerating as he looked into the eyes of the woman he fell in love with not even a day ago. Goten can't help but blush in embarrassment.
He fell in love because of food... Yeah, that was not in his expectations of things to happen.
But it happened, and Goten was glad it happened with someone like Chichi. His face emorphed into a happy look as he embraced Chichi, his small arms wrapping around her sides.
He was happy for once.
