Adrian glanced at her for a moment before letting out a sigh. "Yeah. That's how it started. I asked you to marry me under a contract to fulfill my grandfather's wish," he explained, eyes fixed on the road ahead.

"But over time... the more you spent with me, the more you started to fall for my charm," Adrian added half-jokingly, trying to tease her.

"WHAT? Me? Falling for you?" Bianca's eyes widened in disbelief. "How could I possibly fall in love with you in just three months?"

Adrian chuckled. He still wondered sometimes how it had even been possible for Bianca to fall for him so fast. What he remembered more clearly was how stubborn she had been at the start, insisting over and over that he wasn't her type. Those words had stung his ego each time, and she never seemed to miss a chance to remind him.
