The next morning Fierzy felt like she discovered what hell must feel like, because Ars was still a little bit annoyed at her, he made her follow his training regime instead of the normal soldier one, and his training was at least 5 times harder than the rest of the soldiers, there were still a few other soldiers that trained a bit extra harder than the others but they still didn't train as hard as Ars.
The reason Ars trained that hard, was unlike the others that only saw the 4 seas, where things like akuma no mi users were already overpowered, Ars knew better, there were monsters capable of destroying islands, some with akuma no mi others with their fists, they weren't many but they existed and that made Ars train like crazy to make sure he would be strong enough in the future to protect himself and the people around him.
After the training was done, some fishermen came to Ars for help. Apparently a large sea king had come into the bay, and while it didn't cause problems yet everyone that worked on the bay or near it were afraid that it would attack.
Ars went to check out the sea king, it was under water, and that made Ars hesitate, but in the end he decided to dive, to check on it closer. When he got closer, he realized that, surprisingly, the sea king was already dead. It had perished from recent injuries, probably got attacked by another type of sea king for food or maybe some other aquatic predator that managed to ambush it, but managed to escape with heavy injuries after fighting for his life. Probably it had come to hide in the bay to try to recover but in the end, it ended up succumbing to those injuries. Ars got out of the water and called Tom.
"Tom, get ready to dive with me to drag it to shore."
Tom approached, confused since while he could fight, he wouldn't be able to kill a sea king. Seeing Tom hesitate, Ars realized he needed to clarify.
"It is already dead, probably from the large amount of injuries it has."
After Ars explained why he called him, he understood, he wasn't called to fight, he was called to help drag its body to the beach, to be turned into food.
Ars then looked at one of the surrounding onlookers and asked him. with a happy expression.
"Call everyone, and bring chains and ropes to pull the sea king ashore, before you ask, it's already dead from the injuries from a previous fight."
Ars explained what happened to the sea king to the people surrounding him, then looked at Tom and added "And both of us, will be the ones tying the ropes and chaining it up so we can pull it out from the sea, with its size it will serve as food for a while."
Ars then remembered and asked Tom.
"How fast do sea kings reproduce??"
Tom answered what he knew.
"I'm not so sure about each type, but the bigger ones take longer, while the smaller ones take shorter periods, but not everything normal people refer as sea kings are actual sea kings, for example there are other creatures that look like sea kings but are not sea kings, of those races from which i'm aware, the shortest reproduction cycle i'm aware it's 2 years, this type quickly grows to around 200 meters as an adult, it has a life span of about 20 to 30 years, but considering that there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of living species in the sea if not more, I'm not sure if that one is actually the shortest."
Ars nodded and shortly after, the men arrived with the ropes and chains, Tom and Ars took some of them and then they started doing what they needed to do, to be able to pull the sea king out.
It took about 2 hours. But they managed to take the entire sea king out of the water and were preparing it to be eaten, and the rest prepared to be smoked, so it wouldn't rot.
After they were done they decided to call everyone on the island to come eat some and started preparing a feast, word spread quickly, and in around 30 minutes later everyone started arriving, Lily arrived with Oak and they came towards Ars, who was being followed by a half dead Fierzy, who was exhausted from the earlier training, but the moment she saw Lily she amazingly recovered, and they started eating together.
Today was party day so he let Fierzy and Lily have more time together, but once the party was over, Lily went with Oak, and Fierzy followed Ars.
Fierzy went to her room and Ars, seeing it was late but still too early to go to sleep, decided that this was a good time to go use the TCP, to experiment if he could change the past.
Until now he understood that while he could bring people back thanks to the machine functions, the time line wouldn't be disturbed because of the body left behind, but he wasn't sure if he could change the past.
He got to the machine and searched for the specific event he was searching for, Ginny departure from Sabaody, after she was released from her forced wife status, once she got sick with sapphire scales, once he found it, he went to get the light isolation suit he bought previously on Lvneel Kingdom.
When he returned with it, he got into the portal that led to the past, and appeared not too far from Ginny, who was still preparing to depart. He approached her, and that got her into a defensive mood.
She looked at him and demanded.
"Who are you? What do you want from me? I've nothing that you can take from me, and I'm sick with this deadly disease, if you approach you could get infected."
Ars chuckled and replied calmly.
"I have no bad intentions other than a request, while also giving you an opportunity to live if this experiment works… Interested?"
She was still on guard against Ars, but when she heard that, there was a possibility for her to live and watch her child grow up, she didn't even think of the possible danger, she was about to question him, now trembling from her new expectations. But he took the suit he brought with him, and gave it to her and ordered her.
"First change your clothes into this."
She didn't like to be ordered by a stranger but she didn't waste time and went to change, in a place hidden from him, once done, she approached him, and asked " What's this suit all about? What now?"
Ars smiled gently then answered her.
"First, that is a light isolation suit, and I'm not sure if you know but the sickness you have gets worse faster with exposure to the light…"
She was going to interrupt but Ars stopped her.
"Let me finish, I don't have that much time remaining here…. With this you should be able to live for a few more years, and remember this, i might be able to save you if everything goes well, but first you need to survive long enough to meet me again… "
Then he quickly took out a map from the north blue and continued.
"See this island I'm pointing to? Meet me there in a few years, should be there around the second half of the year 1516, and from then on, when you arrive there ask for Ars."
Ginny saw him disintegrating slowly into light, and stood there shocked and confused, but in her heart she decided, if she lived that long, and if things went well, she would meet him in a few years.
She finally also departed on her ship, with her baby in the back of the ship.
Ars got launched out of the machine, instead of walking as he normally should do, he just discovered that this is what happened when he took too long, and now the machine needed 3 months instead of a single month to be usable again, on the machine there was a new information displayed, it read recalculating time lines.
He understood why it took longer. Since he changed the past, the machine was recalibrating.
Now, he could only hope that the butterfly effect of his actions weren't too big, he went out to check and everything seemed normal, he breathed a sigh of relief.
The next day it was time to compare the World Economy News Paper that he remembered with the ones he had now, to check for differences.
After investigating for a while he found some, the biggest one was that the revolutionary army was late for a few months, something had delayed it.
Ars assumed they got delayed trying to find a cure for Ginny, but the rest of it was very similar. Ars then calculated Bonney age, Luffy didn't take a year to reach Sabaody from when he set sail, Bonney should be about 4 or 5 years old, if he was correct the sapphire disease would appear on her soon.
Hopefully his bet would work out and they would arrive soon.
The next few days were calm and relaxed besides training, then out of nowhere one of his men approached him worried.
"Your majesty, there is an unidentified ship approaching."
Ars thought about it and answered.
"Well Rook should be returning soon, maybe he got a new ship or… "
He paused while he was getting up, and finally kept going on with what he was saying.
"We might have a few guests… Well maybe they are guests or maybe they are troublemakers, time will tell!"
Ars started going towards the docks, there, awaiting him there a group of the newly trained soldiers and the two soldiers that stayed, around 50 people. He simply smiled and looked at the incoming ship, on it he saw a big silhouette wearing a hat with bear ears.
Ars was a bit relieved and looked at his men and said.
"Don't worry, they are guests, I think I know who is coming and they aren't enemies. "
Everyone looked a bit relieved when they heard that. When the ship reached the docks the men helped the ship to dock. Then one man wearing a cloak, hiding his face and body came out, followed by the previous big silhouette and 2 more.
Ars wasn't exactly sure if the cloaked man was who he thought he was, but he looked at them, then looked around trying to find Ginny, and Bonney should be one of the silhouettes that followed, but Ginny was nowhere in sight.
The cloaked man looked at him and requested.
"Can we go to a place with a little less light? And, if possible, away from public eyes."
Ars nodded, and signaled him to follow, but before they all started moving, Ars noticed that under the cloak of one of the silhouettes, there should be somebody being carried on his arms. Ars looked at the silhouette being carried, and realized that it was Ginny alive but on her last legs.
Now looking serious he said concisely.
"Follow me!"
He left the docks quickly with the 5 guests following him, guests that, maybe one day, would become a powerful ally to his kingdom.
