On the trip, the new additions to his kingdom, besides the Baby family, the rescued prisoners came to meet Ars and 2 of them stood out.
The first, Harp D. Rosar, a beautiful female at 22 years of age , was an architect, but she had quite a free mouth, and her biggest problem was how much she enjoyed teasing the opposite gender.
From her skimpy clothes to her way of talking, she looked and sounded like she would accept any proposal from any man, but her personality after properly talking with her showed that she was actually not that interested in the other gender.
Ars thought about it, and the closest character in one piece, who had a similar personality would be Nami, she would try to use her body to get an advantage but she was by no means selling herself. Her being that way was mainly her mothers fault, who had always used her body to get what she wanted from men, and her mother taught her that and now she always sounded like she was teasing men.
He had met her mother, she was also among the rescued prisoners. Their first meeting was pretty direct, she had literally asked if he needed a set of lips to help clean his lower body, and when he thought she couldn't be more direct she actually said it didn't need to be the mouth on her face, so yeah it was obvious why did the daughter have those quirks.
The second that stood out was a man missing an eye, named Sabertoth Nori at 37 years of age and 25 of blacksmithing experience. He was a cheerful guy that loved challenges, especially if they involved crafting something. From what Ars could see he was a serious guy but always inclined to party and drink, he had a wife and a kid that got rescued with him, but apparently one of his children died in the rebellion.
From what Ars saw, all of his family was quite cheerful, or at least were acting like they were for now, but they should be quite cheerful most of the time, outside of sad times.
Ars called them in private along with the 5 Baby siblings, he first addressed Rosar and Nori, starting to explain.
"As you may expect we didn't rescue you from that horrible situation, just for charity, I am creating a new kingdom, and need people with certain skills and you 2 fit in what I need, so I expect you guys to work for me, would that be acceptable?"
Rosar looked at him, smiled and nodded, before answering sweetly.
"You can expect my utmost devotion to helping you with my abilities, I also wouldn't mind helping later into the day."
Ars smiled, ignored her teasing, and commented.
"You know, you don't need to tease me with every sentence…"
She smiled back and replied.
"Don't worry, I already saw my prince on white horse, pretty sure he is one of your men. So in the future I will try not to tease others, with his exception."
Ars smiled surprised and asked.
"Who? If you don't know his name you can describe him."
She then proceeds to describe Rook, apparently he was the one who removed her chains on the marine ship, and the moment he did, she got smitten with him, and was now seeking an opportunity to meet him again.
Ars' eyes shone, then with a grin he went outside and called.
"Rook, can you come here and help me with something?"
A few seconds later Rook had come to check what Ars needed. Ars pointed at Rosar, then said.
"She is not feeling so well, can you help her go to her room and show her around if she needs anything?"
Rook was a bit confused, but nodded and responded calmly.
"Of course! "
Rook looked at her, she was walking at him very slowly, then tripped, and Rook caught her, she grabbed his neck with both arms and pressed her entire body on him, then as seductively as possible she said.
"Thank you, I'm feeling drowsy, and my legs are feeling weak. Can you help me go back to my room, I could help you relax for payment, you are welcome to come at any point of the day… Especially during the night, where we can help each other relax…"
Rook blushed, he understood what she meant but replied embarrassed.
"I will take you to your bed to rest, other people will be there, including your mother, she will help you, and probably will do a better job than me at it. "
When he was about to walk out with her in his arms, she looked behind and said, moving just her lips, with no sound.
"Thank you, I own you one."
Most people there understood what happened and laughed it off, the younger ones were mainly confused, and Baby 8 was blushing so hard that she looked like a tomato, she wasn't used to such displays.
Then Nori also responded to Ars' early request.
"Like her I will also give my best to help the new kingdom, helping with what I can."
Then he stooped and added jokingly.
"And if you can convince my wife, you can also help me get a date… The last time I tried convincing her she made me sleep in the dog house… "
Everyone there smiled and laughed lightly, Ars then asked.
"Do you know where your bed is? If you don't, I will call someone to take you there. It can be a female… but she will probably take a while since she is the only medical personnel on the ship."
He shivered, then answered quickly.
"No need, I know where it is, and if I appear with a female, my wife will use me as bait to fish for sea kings, and I would prefer to stay alive. Thank you very much."
They all laughed, and then Nori left to go to his bed, and probably meet his wife near it.
Finally, Ars looked at the Baby family, and commented.
"I can't keep calling you, baby this and baby that. Now we will start with deciding a new family name, and then individual names for all of you. I will give you guys a few minutes to decide, while I go check with the crew about the duration of the rest of the trip."
They all nodded excitedly, after a short discussion, Baby 3 suggested.
"I think our new family name should reflect what we will be doing and the new opportunity we were given."
She looked around and they all nodded, so she continued.
"For me, this new opportunity is like a sun that finally appeared in my life, so, I think a good name would be Sunhalo, because like the halo that surrounds the sun, we surround his majesty!"
They all nodded and approved of the idea. After Ars came back they informed him of their decision.
"We chose the name, Sunhalo, your majesty."
Looking at Baby 3, Ars asked, surprisedly.
"How did you discover that I'm the king?"
She smiled and replied.
"The soldiers outside only refer to you as his majesty or your majesty, so it was pretty obvious."
Ars smiled awkwardly and said.
"Well now we only need individual names."
They all nodded, and then Baby 3 suggested.
"Since we will work for your majesty, why not let his majesty decide?"
They looked at each other, and agreed again. Ars got split between satisfaction and reluctance.
For one side he was satisfied that they would entrust something like that to him, but he for the exact same reason was also reluctant, after all he wanted them to name themselves, and especially baby 3 seemed to be growing an obsession with serving Ars.
Ars thought about it then gave them their names, all related to the sun.
"Baby 3 from now on you shall be named Sunhalo Elia, Baby 6 from now on you shall be named Sunhalo Dawn, Baby 8 from now on you shall be named Sunhalo Solana, Baby 9 from now on you shall be named Sunhalo Altan and Baby 10 from now on you shall be named Sunhalo Eliana."
They all nodded and bowed respectfully at Ars and responded.
"Thank you for granting us our new names, your majesty."
Ars was going to talk to Elia in private, but before he could dismiss the rest, Rook gave the news from outside.
"Home in sight, prepare for docking and get ready to disembark."
Ars looked at them, smiled, and said.
"Go ready yourselves to disembark. Elia after disembarking and settling your stuff in your new houses, that will be just temporary for now, come meet me to talk about recovering your appearance."
All of them nodded, and Elia started sobbing from happiness.
Nobody here or anywhere knew how much suffering her disfigured body had brought her until now.
She still seethed in rage remembering how she got them. Some noble saw her and wanted to take her to be his slave, and her mother somewhat discovered it, so she went to negotiate with the noble.
When her mother came back she tried to force her to go with him, but she took a knife and slashed the noble across his eyes, blinding him. Seething with rage he beat her relentlessly, but that was nothing compared to what happened next.
Her mother enraged she lost an opportunity to make big money, grabbed a knife and started cutting her face to bits before changing focus to her upper torso, when she was almost completely covered in horrible wounds, she grabbed a pot of boiling oil and dropped the oil on her, she still shivered at that pain, finally her mother kicked her out of the house to die.
But she survived and after recovering from the life threatening injuries, from that day onwards she lost the sense of touch on her body.
Because of how disfigured she was, people would flinch just by looking at her, people would stay away like she was some sort of plague monster.
The only 2 people who even helped her were her older siblings, they often would come to give her some blankets and warm food.
Even when she was covered with a cloak and a mask people would avoid giving her a job thanks to an accident in the past. Where a barwoman gave her a job, and one day one customer saw she had a nice lower figure, not being from around he pulled her towards him and the mask fell, he started throwing up, and then started causing a ruckus, from that day onwards nobody gave her jobs, even if she was innocent.
Now Ars said he had a way to remove those horrible scars that deformed her body, especially the upper body.
That hope and the fact that even after looking at her face, he still treated her with kindness was enough for her to give almost everything to him.
And if he really removed the scars, in her heart she would be his, she knew he came looking for loyal subordinates and he got one, but if he really managed to remove the scars and old injuries, she decided that her body, mind and soul, would be his.
From that point onwards, she would do anything for him, from that point on, his desires would be her dreams, his orders her pleasure, and fulfilling his needs would be her desire.
Even if he didn't give an order, as long as she thought that he needed something, she would put that above everything including her life.
In her world filled with despair, he was the one who saved her. And he was her guiding light.
She looked at the approaching island and muttered to herself.
"I finally found my home!"
