She thought that she had escaped that life.
She thought that she had escaped that darker legacy that her parents was in. After her parents mysterious death under strange, unspoken circumstances. She had hoped to start everything new, one of faith, one of prayer and forgetting. One without spirits that spoke through the mirror and whisper. A clean slate, free from her past
But some things doesn't forget.
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating others with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And whoever associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin." (Surah An-Nisa, 4:48)
