Chapter 21: player Giffy dies accused as death eater
So he wanted to have some good impression with her. With his thought he actually dug his own grave. As soon as the matter touched Harry the situation changed to a different one.
Dumbledore has spent so many years and money to make an infant appear as the savior of the world. If Harry were to speak the snake language and if this news burst out now it would be no different than wasting all of his efforts.
In the original plot it did came out but that did not come out by the hands of others but accidentally by Harry. But if others accuse this situation then it is a different story. So Giffy was immediately suspected to be someone from the remnants of death eaters.
With that he was directly taken by Auror. Dumbledore don't mind others dying. He is already so old and he doesn't mind even his own death. Why would he care for a simple house elf? With that both the house elf and the student behind it were taken for interrogation.
Dobby only sighed and did not make a move. His persona of being a simple minded idiot is his best protection. Just because he knows the plot and he is from a different world did not make Dobby too prideful instead he is more inclined towards hiding in clumsiness.
He never underestimated these death crazed desperados. They are stupid yes but they are also desperate and can do anything. So it is very dangerous to deal with them directly. Also putting your finger in the plot is even more dangerous.
Finally touching the main character with bad intentions and causing problems with original plot is deadly dangerous. Giffy has just the taboo point and got burnt along with the person behind him.
Here Dobby did not have to do anything and Giffy directly died in his own. Dobby simply nodded and went to do his thing without taking many breaks. His target is till to find the secret of the elves.
His days have gone by without much hindrance because he is using the invisibility cloak to do the things carefully. After many days of hard work and the incidents with both Hermione and Penelope being petrified the situation finally came to an end at around the end of the year.
Penelope brought the letter that Dobby gave her with her. But she did not open it. When the problem with the basilisk is solved by Harry she was treated in the hospital wing of the Hogwarts School.
Well the entire flow has still followed the plot without much change even with the interference of Giffy. Originally Hermione would petrify trying to find what this creature is. But now she was petrified trying to find the weakness of the monster.
Penelope Clearwater is quite brave and she went out to patrol as usual and was petrified. Others are also the same with slightly different reasons as if it was the secondary setting to adjust the flow of the plot.
At that time when Penelope woke up Percy came to rub her good will in order to get her love or at least solve his attraction. But at this time Dobby used special means to bring the letter he gave her to her at the right time.
Seeing the letter that appeared beside her bed silently, Penelope was shocked and remembered the incident before the start of this academic year of school. When she read through the information she was shocked and the follow up information is really terrifying.

For characters like Penelope that are mostly perfectionists they would not tolerate doubt. They would check the things more and more till they are satisfied. Even if they are satisfied they would still check more to find the problem.
To them the straight forward things are much better than the complicated things that would make them fall into the endless loop of doubts. So Dobby has created this doubt and Percy can never get her in his life.
Instead Dobby is going to make a move in a straight forward way and get her directly. In any world there is no good and bad or hero or villain. It is the initiative at the right point, right situation and right side would decide the final outcome.
The winners write the history as good people. Winners are always good and they are righteous. But the point is that they have to put the right word at the right time to become completely righteous and point out the bad points perfectly to become righteous.
If it was done before winning then it can also be used as a weapon of public opinion. Dobby turning Harry into a woman would not cause much commotion instead it can give him an extra layer of protection from death eaters and Voldemort.
In prophesy, it is said that it is a boy that would end the reign of Voldemort. Technically it is true that Voldemort got blasted at that time because of Harry potter. As for the latter part if Harry is no longer a man then they would be confused.
That is if Harry is the one in prophesy or not because he is no longer a boy or a man here. So this would give Harry and extra layer of protection. Because of this Dobby was not implicated and even the plot did not correct it. Instead it concealed it.
Yes it has been concealed by the sudden appearance of other incidents which was timed perfectly. Dobby felt a cold sweat on his back because he made the moves carefully without causing trouble. If not he would be dead by now.
