Alexander was smiling.
Or maybe Lana's eyes were deceiving her.
But as she stood a couple of inches away from him staring at his back view, she watched his cheekbones come to life. It was an unmistakable sight. One she had almost never seen for her to simply assume or imagine.
He was seated at his usual spot on the dining, legs crossed, phone in one hand. Whatever he was staring at on the phone must have been intriguing. So intriguing not a single word came from him. so intriguing, she could tell he was actually smiling at it.
Or was it a half smile? A smirk? A frown disguised as a smile?
Lana was too curious to not need to figure out. So getting on the tip of her toes, she took careful steps towards him and before he could notice her presence, looked over his shoulders to glance at his phone.
