Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Fruit for a Son

"What!?"

Daifuku stared at the Vivre Card that was slowly burning, eyes filled with disbelief.

"There's someone in 'Paradise' who can kill him? Or did he provoke those lackeys of the World Government?"

Daifuku, prioritizing the mission above all else, couldn't tolerate his own failure. He puffed out his chest and shouted: "Full speed ahead! Mom's mission cannot fail!"

"Yes!!"

...

Alabasta.

Dillon stepped on the unconscious "Bloodhook" Road, and dialed the Den Den Mushi.

An eyepatch appeared out of thin air on the Den Den Mushi's antennae, and the round eyes became lifeless.

"Arara, completed so quickly?"

"It wasn't easy, okay? By the way, you don't need me to personally send this guy back, do you? I still have to return to the East Blue."

At Marineford, Aokiji scratched his head: "It can be sent to the nearest Marine base, but this guy's background isn't simple. I heard Big Mom is looking for him. You know Big Mom's intelligence network is very powerful, so..."

"Is anyone taking him or not? If not, I'll just chop off his head. Anyway, this guy isn't a Devil Fruit user."

Road, who was pretending to be dead on the ground, gulped, but didn't move.

Is this guy really a Marine?

They're just chopping off people's heads for any old reason?

"Wait a little... if you chop off his head, what if Big Mom finds out?"

"So that's what you're worried about?"

Dillon paused. Kuzan really is loyal.

But...

A flash of red light from Shura, and Road's bewildered expression still hadn't dissipated before his head separated from his body.

"Bastard!? How dare you!"

A roar came from afar, and Charlotte Daifuku's lower body emitted heat as he rapidly approached.

The Vivre Card in his hand had completely disappeared, and he had just seen the young man swing his sword and cut off "Bloodhook" Road's head.

As Charlotte Daifuku approached, an Aladdin lamp-like figure emerged from his belt.

"Atone with your head! Genie Slash!"

The giant Genie swung his long sword, sending a huge slash toward Dillon.

"Hey hey... Didn't I tell you to calm down a little? Do you need me to come over?"

"No need. Remember to calculate this guy's merit as well. It should be Big Mom's third son, Charlotte Daifuku."

Dillon held the Den Den Mushi in one hand and raised Shura with the other.

"Ding!"

The huge slash stopped the moment it touched Shura's blade, and no matter how Charlotte Daifuku and the Genie poured their strength, the slash did not advance an inch further.

"The 'Bean Minister' from 'Totto Land'? Arara, this is really asking for trouble. Are you sure you don't need me to come over?"

This is me "asking for trouble"? Didn't you tell me to come and cut people!?

"If I kill him, I want a month off!"

"Arara..." Before Aokiji could speak, Dillon hung up the Den Den Mushi.

"Interrupting someone on the phone is impolite. Didn't Linlin teach you that?"

"You bastard..." Charlotte Daifuku looked at the youth in front of him who had casually blocked the Genie's slash and felt a chill in his heart, but he didn't rashly attack again.

Dillon smiled at Charlotte Daifuku's gloomy expression.

"A member of the Charlotte family? What? Did Linlin tell you to take this guy back to have children? If that were the case, wouldn't I have just killed your stepfather!"

"Bastard!!"

Charlotte Daifuku, who had been very wary in his heart, instantly burst into anger when he heard Dillon's words: "How dare you disrespect Mom!"

"Genie - Tiny Slash!"

Countless tiny slashes flew out, surrounding Dillon from all directions.

"How ignorant!"

Dillon "hmmphed" and spun the hilt of Shura.

Scarlet sword aura unfurled like a storm, more violent and more detailed than Charlotte Daifuku's slashes.

The two slashes collided violently in the air, raising the surrounding sand, and a thick dust filled the air.

"I've got you! Overheat Steam!"

Charlotte Daifuku, wrapped in Haki, dashed out of the dust, with scorching heat emanating from his dark fist, and the Genie raised his great sword high beside him.

"Die!!"

Seeing that Dillon did not dodge, Charlotte Daifuku's eyes flashed with joy, while also carrying anger. This guy dares to underestimate him so much!

"You really are... slow on the uptake!" A black arm reached through the smoke and grabbed Charlotte Daifuku's fist.

"Thunder-Punishment!"

Boom!!

Accompanied by a deafening rumble, a bolt of lightning with a diameter of several meters fell from the sky, engulfing the two in the middle.

"Woah, really?" On a sand dune in the distance, Crocodile, smoking a cigar, looked at the huge pillar of lightning.

There are such characters in the Marines?

After the lightning dissipated, Charlotte Daifuku, covered in green smoke, supported his body with one hand while panting heavily, the Genie had long since disappeared.

"Not only is he skilled in swordsmanship and Haki, but he is also a Logia Devil Fruit user?"

No... it's not just that; this guy's Devil Fruit power can easily penetrate his Haki. He must have mastered the Devil Fruit power to a very strong extent!

"Buruburu~ Buruburu~"

Seeing that he couldn't break free from Dillon's grasp, Charlotte Daifuku simply reached into his pocket and took out a Den Den Mushi.

"Daifuku, what's going on? Why is that Road kid's Vivre Card burning? Did you kill him??"

The moment the Den Den Mushi connected, the entire face became round, and two thick clusters of eyelashes appeared on the eyes.

"I'm sorry Mom, the mission failed, Road was killed by the Marines!"

"Marines~~~~~? Are there such Marines in Paradise?"

"It's..." Charlotte Daifuku raised his head and glanced at Dillon: "A Marine I've never seen before. I heard him talking to Aokiji."

"Mamamama, the Marines are as strong as ever. Hey, Marine guy, how about a deal?"

Daifuku turned the Den Den Mushi around, towards Dillon.

"Oh? It's Linlin. What are you going to trade for your son's life?"

Big Mom didn't seem to care that Dillon called her Linlin, instead she laughed: "Mamamamamama, what an interesting kid. What do you want? Treasure? A famous sword? Or a Devil Fruit? Or should I marry you to my favorite daughter? Mamamamama, if you're willing."

"A Devil Fruit. I'll pick up the goods at Sabaody Archipelago in two months. If the value doesn't match..." Dillon's eyes swept over Charlotte Daifuku's body: "I'll have to make up the difference."

Charlotte Daifuku shivered at his gaze.

This guy...

If he's not satisfied with the fruit then, he would definitely cut off a part of his body, absolutely!

"Mamamamama, you really are a greedy little kid. But, the Charlotte Family's intelligence network spans the world, and the thing we have the least shortage of is Devil Fruits. Don't worry, it will be equal to my son's value."

"Let's hope so." After Dillon finished speaking, he released Charlotte Daifuku.

The Den Den Mushi was also turned off.

After Charlotte Daifuku staggered away with two huge shoulder pads, Dillon turned to look at the sand dunes on the flank.

"What? Do I have to invite you?"

Whoosh~~~~

A gust of wind and sand swept through, slowly coalescing into a human shape in front of Dillon, wearing a black cloak, with oily slicked-back hair, and a distinct scar in the middle of his face.

"Hmph, Crocodile, laughably weak."

"You..." Crocodile's eyes darkened: "Sables!"

Before the sandstorm could gather, it slowly dissipated.

Shura, shimmering with black and red light, was resting on Crocodile's shoulder.

"You want to die?"

Dillon looked at him coldly: "The you who fought against Bullet, and the you after losing to Whitebeard are two completely different people."

Cold sweat broke out on Crocodile's forehead. This guy was definitely serious; he would die if he moved!

An enormous pressure came over him. Although there wasn't visible Haki, it unnerved him even more.

This feeling was even more intense than when facing Whitebeard back then.

"What do you need me to do?"

Dillon put away Shura and looked into the distance, toward the East Blue.

"I want you to remember one thing. If you're defeated by some random person in your position as a Shichibukai, then I'll kill you myself. So... it's best to be careful, you arrogant Little Lizard."

"..."

Crocodile's face was gloomy.

Defeated by someone in Paradise?

But he didn't dare refute.

The man in front of him looked at him as if he were an ant, and he could feel that if a fight really broke out, he would probably be killed instantly.

After throwing Road's head to Crocodile, Dillon's body turned into a dazzling ray of light and disappeared on the spot.

Crocodile clenched his fists and stared at the direction where Dillon had left: "Damn it... if I could master Pluton..."
