Chapter 7 - Walk Of The Leader

Skye, her arm still in a sling from Borarah's attack, screamed over the chaos

"He fought borarah bare-handed to save you ingrates!"

But a slick serpentine politician hissed back:

"And yet... Earth is gone. Numbers don't lie, Commander."

The ultimate insult came next

A coalition of young politicians unveiled a motion

"Dissolve the Federation's military wing... and arrest Kaizu for negligence upon waking."

In the Galactic Federation.....

Kaizu's eyes fluttered open for the first time in two long months.

The room was sterile white, the lights blindingly bright. His body ached—bandages wrapped around his chest, his muscles weak from disuse. He tried to move, but his limbs felt heavy as lead.

Then—the door slid open.

Skye stood there, out of uniform, her arm still in a sling from Borarah's attack. She didn't smile. She didn't cheer. Instead, she dropped a stack of news reports onto his lap.

Kaizu squinted at the blaring headline

"EARTH DESTROYED – GALACTIC FEDERATION FAILS "

His fingers trembled slightly, but his face remained stone.

Inside? A storm raged.

Minutes later, Kaizu forced himself up, ignoring the pain. He pulled on a loose shirt, hiding the bandages, and stepped into the hallway.

The Galactic Federation HQ was chaos—officers rushing, screens flashing with protests, politicians demanding answers.

Then—someone spotted him.

A young soldier gasped, eyes widening.

"CAPTAIN! You're awake!"

Others turned, their tired faces lighting up for the first time in months.

Kaizu gave a small nod, but his mind was elsewhere.

"How long was I out?" he asked, voice rough from disuse.

"Two months, "Skye replied quietly.

A beat of silence. Then

"When's the press conference?" Skye asked.

Kaizu didn't hesitate.

"Tomorrow."

Skye stiffened—he wasn't ready. But she knew better than to argue.

The next day, reporters from every corner of the universe packed the room.

Cameras flashed.Whispers spread.Angry eyes watched.

Kaizu stepped onto the stage, standing tall despite the pain.

The galaxy held its breath.

he has to take the responsibility and to be responsible as he always was for past 10 years .....

Press Conference Started.....

The Galactic Federation's press hall was packed beyond capacity—reporters from every planet, every species, shoving and shouting for the best view.

Kaizu sat at the center, his grip unsteady on the mic, his body screaming in protest. But his voice? Calm. Steady.

THE RELENTLESS QUESTIONS

Reporter 1 (a bird-like alien, shrill)

"Why were you late to respond? Were you sleeping?!"

Reporter 2 (a robotic journalist, monotone)

"Your defense radars failed. Was it budget cuts... or incompetence?"

Reporter 3 (a scaly politician, smirking)

"Has Borarah evolved? Or have you just gotten weaker?"

Reporter 4 (a human from Mars, tears in eyes)

"My family was on Earth. What will you do for us?!"
