While Tsunade treated Tō's wounds, the other Four Kage listened to Naruto and Sasuke's report and realized how dire the situation had become. They were also taken aback seeing the extent of Tō's injuries, and equally amazed by her strength. She had faced the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki in single combat.
Even though Obito had briefly awakened Sage Mode, he had struggled significantly despite Naruto and the others' support.
"So… now Madara Uchiha is attempting to steal the Ten-Tails to become the Jinchūriki…" Tsunade frowned, looking over at Madara, who was already sealed within the Ten-Tails.
By now, Black Zetsu had merged with Obito, and Obito had begun fighting the Fourth Hokage again. Though Obito understood the jutsu, he was thoroughly overwhelmed by the Fourth Hokage and Kakashi. Meanwhile, Madara—having just become the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki—wielded Rinnegan plus the beast chakra to dominate both the First and Second Hokage.
At that moment, all the Five Kage exchanged glances. Jiraiya and the others began rushing toward the First and Second Hokage's location.
Tō, still breathing uneasily, was taken into care by Gaara and other Akatsuki members. "You two should go help," they said quietly to Naruto and Sasuke. "Obito is troublesome, but manageable. Madara is the real problem."
Naruto and Sasuke exchanged a grim look, then sprinted toward Madara's location. He was now the priority.
Inside Tō's mental realm, a figure resembling a robot suddenly appeared, sitting silently across from her.
"You don't seem in any hurry to question me," the robot said, its electronic eye blinking.
Tō smiled faintly. "What's there to ask? You're the one who gave me that Skill Device. Maybe some high‑tech tool or something?"
The robot froze, its round head halting as if glitching. After a long pause, it replied, "You're the calmest client I've ever met… but now, as the owner of the third‑generation Peace Trial Device, I can grant you something more powerful yet."
Tō raised an eyebrow. "Let's hear the price. I don't believe being drawn into some non‑existent space and gifted greater power comes free."
The robot twitched. This one saw right through its programming. Finally, "Well, I'd say, you're the most special client yet. We don't need your telekinesis per se… but the thoughts generated by using it."
Tō's interest piqued. Telekinesis had created illusions through her eyes; if what mattered was the thoughts it spurred, what missing resource did this planet truly lack?
The robot sighed. "On our planet, we've already perfected every possible idea that humans have conceived. There's little left—nothing to give our next generation real joy. So our leaders decided to use outside minds as templates to create a virtual world where our children can truly grow and experience battle and identity."
That stunned Tō. She did not expect such a civilization. She reflected on how her illusions—like giving Sasuke a full childhood in an instant—showed how powerful these thoughts could be.
The robot continued: "If you share the thoughts you've generated through your experiences with us, we'll compensate you. But we'll reclaim the Skill Device—it's essential for building this virtual world."
Tō asked, "So what can you give me in return? I'm not really after power… but I want to know how much value my years of thought hold."
The robot, more relaxed, said: "You obtained the Shimmer Fruit's ability. Now I give you something greater: Infinite Chakra."
Tō paused at that — infinite chakra would make her near‑unstoppable, exceeding even the Rikudō's power. With it, she might surpass even Madara.
But she responded, "Why not immortality instead? If I had that… I'd truly be invincible."
The robot seemed about to protest, but exhaled: "Even on our planet, no one is immortal. The longest-lived reach around a thousand years. But with your chakra, you might live four or five centuries comfortably. That's the extent of what we can offer."
Tō nodded calmly. "Fair enough—deal."
Energy whirled around her. She felt her soul soar through a time tunnel. All the moments of her life—from arriving in the shinobi world until now—flashed before her eyes. She recalled holding her mother and the promise she had made.
"Tō… I know your power is immense. But please, don't curse Konoha. Please protect this ninja world. Please preserve the true Uchiha."
Tō paused, then nodded. The massacre of the Uchiha had been intended to push Itachi and Sasuke beyond their limits, to preserve their clan's ultimate potential. Destroying Konoha would usher in a new age by breaking the old era under the Third Hokage. Declaring war on the ninja world would flush out hidden enemies in one strike.
Thinking this, Tō smiled softly: "Farewell, my past. Now I will embrace my new era." With those words, she passed beyond the time‑space tunnel.
