Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: The Fragrant Delicate Immortal Product (Youxiang Qiluo Xianpin)

In truth, this arrangement wasn't a bad deal for Poison Douluo Dugu Bo either.

After all, the odds of him defeating another Titled Douluo were essentially zero. It was a fight he was bound to lose anyway—but now, he could gain a little favor with this powerful newcomer and get some help around the place.

Why not?

Those three herbs? He was already going to lose them anyway!

This guy recognized the Jade Phosphor Sevenfold Flower, so the toxic herbs inside the Ice-Fire Yin-Yang Well likely wouldn't pose much danger to him. After defeating Dugu Bo, he could've just gone in and taken what he wanted.

Yet, here he was, negotiating terms like a gentleman. That alone earned Dugu Bo's respect.

Only Qian Renfeng himself knew the real reason—it wasn't that he was overly righteous, but because… apart from the herbs that appeared in the original story, he didn't recognize anything else!

Even if he took them, they'd be useless to him.

Might as well just grab the good ones and make sure Tang San doesn't get them!

Standing atop the Bilin Serpent Emperor, Dugu Bo activated his eighth black soul ring. Immediately, everything in the area—plants, animals, even insects—began to slow down drastically.

"Eighth Soul Skill: Time Freeze!"

A beam of light shot forth, and the surroundings seemed to freeze in time—even the rhythm of breathing stopped.

Qian Renfeng was affected too. While he wasn't completely immobilized, his movements were noticeably slower—far from what a Titled Douluo should be capable of.

"Worthy of the title 'Poison Douluo.' Guess I shouldn't underestimate even the so-called weakest among them!"

Renfeng lacked real combat experience. As he muttered this, Dugu Bo seized the opportunity, turning his serpent's head toward Renfeng.

From the serpent's forehead, a third eye opened.

"Soul Bone Skill: Petrification!"

A beam of light burst forth. Even raw energy in its path would be turned to stone! This was Dugu Bo's trump card, rarely used except in life-or-death situations.

But Qian Renfeng wasn't going to take any chances. He immediately released his Angel Domain, radiating divine energy that spread through the medicinal valley.

Not only did it completely neutralize Dugu Bo's soul bone skill, but it also cleansed the frozen and petrified zones.

"Angel Domain's passive trait: Purification."

"Sorry, but it's a hard counter to your trump card. Now… It's my turn, right?"

Before Dugu Bo could respond, Qian Renfeng's eight angel wings unfurled behind him. Thousands of radiant white feathers rained down toward Dugu Bo like a deadly storm.

"Fifth Soul Skill: Heavenly Feather Storm!"

Each feather was like a blade. While a single feather wasn't enough to hurt Dugu Bo, the *sheer volume—thousands per second—*made them overwhelming.

Dugu Bo quickly leapt off the serpent's head, allowing the Bilin Serpent Emperor to coil tightly around him for protection.

It worked—temporarily.

But within moments, Dugu Bo's soul power was nearly depleted, and the serpent's body began to fade, clearly unable to sustain the pressure.

All of this took place in less than five seconds.

"I concede!"

Dugu Bo's voice came from beneath the coiled serpent. Only then did Qian Renfeng halt his attack.

In Renfeng's estimation, had Dugu Bo not used his eighth soul skill and Medusa soul bone, he wouldn't even have needed to release the Angel Domain. The Angel God's Guardian (eighth soul skill) alone would have ended the battle.

The weakest Titled Douluo truly stood no chance.

But Renfeng had chosen to act personally—not just to use fewer soul skills, but also to save face for the respectable elder in front of him.

"Thank you for the lesson."

"As expected of a veteran Titled Douluo. Your two control-type skills almost caught me off guard."

He offered a polite compliment, then added:

"My title is Angel. I hope you'll remember it."

"Now, may I go in and choose my herbs?"

Dugu Bo waved his hand and turned around, personally leading Qian Renfeng inside—a gesture of recognition.

Two moves. That's all it took to defeat him.

"Young friend, I've never heard of a genius like you on the continent before."

"Whose faction do you belong to?"

A Titled Douluo with this kind of strength should've either already made a name for himself or be some old monster who had been hiding for years.

But Renfeng wasn't some ancient powerhouse—and Dugu Bo would've heard if such a prodigy had appeared.

He wasn't antisocial to the point of being completely cut off from information.

"I'm just a free soul master. If I ever form a faction, I'll invite you to join me."

"Hahahaha!"

Dugu Bo let out a hearty laugh.

Over the years, countless factions had tried to recruit him, but none had ever spoken so respectfully despite being stronger than him. Renfeng was the first.

"Alright! If you form your faction one day, I'll gladly help out!"

"We're here. This is my medicinal valley. Take a good look at my life's work!"

Dugu Bo stopped walking, turning serious for a moment.

"But let me warn you. This place is filled with rare herbs and deadly poisons. Some of them, even I don't dare touch."

"If you get poisoned… don't blame me for not warning you!"

Qian Renfeng smiled and nodded. No big deal—he didn't plan on taking unnecessary risks.

"No worries, Senior. I'll only pick three herbs, and you're welcome to supervise."

He walked toward the center of the Ice-Fire Yin-Yang Well, the temperature rapidly alternating between freezing and scorching.

Even Dugu Bo couldn't stay there long—but Renfeng moved forward unbothered, his gaze fixed.

Near the junction of the two springs stood a large pale pink flower, gently swaying in the wind. Its pistil was lavender, like tiny embedded gemstones. No leaves, a three-foot-long stalk, and a bloom nearly a foot wide.

Each petal looked like crystal, emitting a faint fragrance.

Dugu Bo's expression twitched.

This kid isn't holding back...

"Already decided? You don't want to take a second look? There are herbs here even I can't identify—and some are extremely poisonous!"

Renfeng just smiled.

"It's no trouble. This one's not poisonous."

He stepped forward, released a touch of soul power, and in the blink of an eye, plucked the flower and stored it away.

This was none other than the Fragrant Delicate Immortal Product (Youxiang Qiluo Xianpin).

Then, he turned toward his next two targets:

Blazing Apricot Delicate (Liehuo Xingjiaoshu)

and

Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass (Bajiao Xuanbingcao)
