Chapter 13 - CHAPTER 6.5 THE FROZEN FIRE-II

CHAPTER 6.5 THE FROZEN FIRE-II

Acharya said, "You have to activate your Fire Fist, and then you have to do meditation in the waterfall. But the fire should not be extinguished from your fist. So, are you ready, Lewosito?"

"Yes, I am ready, Guruji," Lewosito said.

When Lewosito opened his hand bandage, he clenched his fist, and fire erupted in his hand. When he sat in the waterfall, he shouted: "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! This water is so cold! Brrrrrr! I can't!"

His fire also got extinguished.

Acharya said, "Do it again."

Lewosito returned, clenched his fist, fire erupted again, and he sat in the waterfall. Then he shouted again: "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! It's too cold! Aaaaaaaaaa!"

"It's very hard I..I tried"

I tried many times… but I failed again.

The water was too cold.

Meditating beneath this freezing waterfall while keeping my Fire Fist ignited…

It's harder than anything I've ever faced.

Lewosito sat beneath the roaring waterfall, shivering, his breath trembling in the icy air.

Why… why is it so hard…? he wondered.

Morning — 5:50 AM

Atharv walked toward him, rubbing his sleepy eyes.

"Lewosito… how was your training last night?"

Lewosito let out a long, exhausted sigh.

"It was too hard… I never imagined training could be this intense."

Atharv swallowed nervously.

"It sounds scary just hearing about it. I don't know how much pain we're supposed to endure…"

Lewosito stretched, his bones cracking from the strain.

"We'll endure more pain. This training will only get harder."

Yaaaawn…

"I'm tired now," Lewosito muttered.

"Okay then, sleep," Atharv said.

"Yeah…"

Lewosito fell asleep instantly.

Night — 1:00 AM

"12… 13… 14… 15… 16…"

Lewosito's fingers trembled as he balanced on the thin wooden sticks.

"1… 17— AHH!!"

He slipped and crashed to the ground again.

"I've been trying for three hours… but my stamina is gone today…" he whispered.

Breathing heavily—gasp… gasp… gasp…

"10… 11… 12— AAAAA—!"

He fell again.

1 hour and 30 minutes later—

"4… 47… 48… eeh… 49… FIF–FFFF–TYYYY—!"

Lewosito collapsed onto the ground, panting.

gasp… gasp… gasp…

Still, he forced himself back onto his feet.

"Run… run… run… I have to run…" he whispered to himself.

Each step shook his exhausted body.

"I… I am thirsty… gasp… gasp…"

Finally, Lewosito finished running across the whole mountain with the two heavy water buckets. He dropped them beside him, grabbed a water bottle, and began drinking desperately.

"Gok… GOKU… goku… haaah…" he exhaled.

Acharya Guru walked toward him.

"Only squats and Frozen Fire training are left," he said calmly. "And I heard you haven't eaten anything since yesterday morning after training."

Lewosito wiped his mouth.

"Yeah… I don't know. I just didn't feel like eating. And now… I don't have any stamina left to continue training."

Right then, Lewosito's stomach growled loudly—

"Gururuuu… Grrrrrrrr…"

Acharya raised an eyebrow. "You're hungry. I brought food for you. Here, eat this."

Guru Acharya served the food.

Lewosito's eyes widened. "Idli sambhar…"

He immediately started eating.

"It's delicious… huff… munch… munch…"

After finishing the food, he drank water.

Gulp… gulp… haaah…

"Now my stomach is full," Lewosito said.

Acharya nodded. "Good. Now, about yesterday—you didn't do the Frozen Fire training properly."

Yesterday — The Frozen Fire Training

"Aaaaaaaa— it's too cold!"

Lewosito tried to meditate under the waterfall, but he kept failing. The water was brutally cold.

Acharya had said, "You tried again and again, but you couldn't survive in the cold waterfall for more than ten seconds. And your fire was extinguished instantly, right from the beginning."

Persent day

Acharya continued listen carefully

Acharya continued, "Listen carefully, Lewosito. Meditation doesn't mean sitting under a waterfall or enduring pain. True meditation is the ability to focus on your inner fire. Once you master your focus, you will no longer feel the cold, and your flame will never extinguish — even underwater."

Lewosito said, "It sounds difficult…"

Acharya smiled. "It isn't, but Frozen Fire requires deep discipline. When you master it, you will become calm. Anger will not control you. And you will be able to fight in any situation."

"Then what is the easiest way to master Frozen Fire?" Lewosito asked.

"Sit straight, close your eyes," Acharya said gently. "Imagine a single point inside your inner fire. Focus only on that point. Slowly, the sound of the waterfall will fade… people around you will disappear… even my voice will vanish. The whole world will become silent. At that moment, you will feel your true fire — and only then will you master Frozen Fire. And your fire will remain stable under the waterfall."

"Did you understand, Lewosito?"

Lewosito said, "Yes, I understand, Guruji."

Acharya nodded. "It's already morning — 4:30. Do you want to try Frozen Fire now?"

Lewosito replied, "First… I will try to focus on my inner fire."

"Alright," Acharya said. "Start your meditation."

Lewosito sat on a large stone, straightened his back, and closed his eyes.

"Just focus on your inner fire," Acharya instructed.

Lewosito inhaled slowly…

My inner fire… focus… just focus… he thought.

But within a few seconds—

GRAAHHHH— ZZZZZ— KHOOOORRR!!

Lewosito fell asleep, snoring loudly.

Acharya's face twitched.

He picked up a bucket of freezing water and splashed it on him—

SPLASHHH!!

"UWAHHH—! I-It's cold! It's cold!!" Lewosito shot up in shock.

Acharya crossed his arms. "Alright. I've decided something."

"Huh? Sssshhhh—?" Lewosito blinked nervously.

"You are not going to sleep," Acharya declared. "You will meditate. And if you sleep again, Arjun will hit you with a bamboo stick. Be ready!"

Lewosito froze. "H-HUH?! Aaaaaa—! S-sorry, Guruji! Sorry!!"

"From tomorrow onward," Acharya said sternly, "I will become even more strict."

Morning arrived…

Arjun said, "For now on, you'll meditate in your bedroom."

"In my bedroom…?" Lewosito blinked in confusion.

Arjun nodded. "Yes. So, Lewosito… are you ready?"

"I… I'm ready," Lewosito replied weakly.

He sat down, crossed his legs, straightened his back, and closed his eyes.

Focus… focus… just focus… he repeated in his mind.

But within seconds—

GRAAHHHH— ZZZZ— KHOOORRR!!

Lewosito began snoring again.

Arjun sighed. "Okay then… take this."

THWACK!!

"Aaaaarghhhhh!!!"

Lewosito jumped, holding his back in pain.

He wanted to cry, but he had to continue.

"Focus again," Arjun ordered firmly.

Lewosito's eyes were red, dark circles heavy under them. His body begged for sleep, but he wasn't allowed.

He inhaled shakily and tried again.

Slow breath in…

Slow breath out…

And then—

ZZZZZZ…

He fell asleep again.

THWACK!!

"Aaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhh!!!" Lewosito screamed louder this time, falling forward.

His training had only just begun…
