Chapter 132 - Chapter 132: Heading to the Demon Planet - Part 2

I was deep in thought when everyone else started cheering happily. "Now we at least have half of the Demon World Chronicle!"

"But even though we've finally got half of the Demon World Chronicle, what about Miyoko? We don't know what happened to her!" Shizuka's sudden words brought everyone's joyful mood crashing down.

"Yeah! We almost forgot—Miyoko's still missing! We got excited too soon!" Doraemon sighed in disappointment.

That's when the pink mouse that had been fidgeting in my pocket couldn't hold back anymore and suddenly broke free, scampering out.

"Ah! It's a mouse again!" Doraemon yelped, jumping up to the top of the bookshelf. "Help!"

"I hate mice! Get it out of here!"

"Wow! What a cute mouse!" But Shizuka thought the pink mouse was adorable!

"Nobita, is this your pet mouse?"

The pink mouse stood on me, waving its little paws frantically.

"How could it be Nobita's pet? Whatever it is, just get it out of here!" Doraemon said, sounding like he was about to lose it.

Just then, a beam of moonlight shone through the window onto the pink mouse.

To my surprise, when the moonlight hit the pink mouse, its body started glowing with an even brighter white light.

With a flash of intense white light, the familiar figure of Miyoko appeared.

But as I felt something soft on my body, I realized she was sitting right on top of me.

Miyoko seemed to think the position was awkward too—her face turned a little red, and she quickly got off me.

"Miyoko?"

Everyone was shocked! We never imagined that this pink little mouse was the Miyoko we'd all thought was missing.

I pretended to be surprised too and said, "You're Miyoko? Then before, I..."

Before I could finish, my lips were covered by her soft little hand.

Miyoko looked embarrassed and annoyed, blocking me from saying anything more.

"Nobita, what happened before?" The others didn't notice, but Shizuka looked at us suspiciously, eyeing how close we were.

Miyoko gave me a pleading look, all flustered, signaling me not to spill the beans.

I nodded, and she finally let go of my mouth.

"I just put the mouse in my pocket earlier—I had no idea it was Miyoko! I'm totally shocked!"

I said it casually to ease Shizuka's doubts.

Miyoko's expression softened a bit when she heard that, though her face was still a little red.

But everyone was more curious about what had actually happened.

Seeing everyone's questioning looks, Miyoko recalled the scene with a hint of sadness.

"Our home was attacked by demons. Dad did everything he could to help me escape, but the demons still found me and turned me into a mouse."

"Dad was taken out of the Demon Planet! And I couldn't do anything about it!"

Miyoko looked really downcast.

"Don't worry, Miyoko! We'll go with you to the Demon Planet to rescue Professor Mangetsu, and while we're at it, defeat the Demon King and save Earth!" I patted her on the shoulder.

"Nobita…"

"We'll all go to the Demon Planet with you!" Shizuka chimed in.

"Who cares about those demons! We'll drive them all out!" Gian waved his fist.

"Thank you, thank you all!" Miyoko looked at everyone with gratitude.

Doraemon climbed down from the bookshelf then and promised Miyoko he'd help her too.

But as the moonlight faded, Doraemon let out an "Ah!" and collapsed onto the tatami mat.

Seeing Miyoko turn back into a mouse right in front of him, Doraemon fainted on the spot.

We all just looked on helplessly.

While Doraemon was out cold, Miyoko had to use magic to change everyone's appearance again. She couldn't undo the demon's spell, but she could alter the species—at least not a mouse, or Doraemon's fear would mess up our trip to the Demon Planet.

So, after some fussing, she turned into a pink cat.

I saw her and couldn't resist petting her once.

Feeling my fingers run through her soft fur felt like stroking her body.

"Nyaa~!" Miyoko let out a comfortable purr without thinking.

Suddenly, she realized something was off and shot me an annoyed glare.

"Sorry! Couldn't help it!" I said awkwardly.

But someone had no such reservations. Seeing the cute, fluffy creature, Shizuka squealed "Kawaii!"

Then Shizuka's eyes sparkled as she rubbed, kissed, hugged, and snuggled Miyoko nonstop.

She was treating her like a plush toy!

Girls really can't resist cute fluffy things.

Miyoko was helpless, but at least the other person was a girl.

When Doraemon woke up and saw Miyoko's new form, he wasn't scared anymore.

He even pulled out the Translation Tool for Miyoko, so she could talk and communicate normally even in her non-human form.

So, we all decided it was time to head to the Demon Planet.

Before leaving, Doraemon took out a magic hat with some red stars and put it on his head.

We all thought it was some amazing gadget.

We asked if wearing it would make him a great mage who could use any magic.

But Doraemon just laughed awkwardly and said it was just a regular Christmas decoration hat—for looking cool.

We all faceplanted!

Once everything was ready, Miyoko summoned her flying carpet and told us it could take us to outer space too.

That saved Doraemon from having to pull out another vehicle!

The typhoon outside had died down a bit, which is why the moonlight could reach Miyoko.

But we all knew this was just the calm before the storm!
