Chapter 30 - The new floor - Ch.30 •

The Dungeon started to vibrate a little as a reaction.

This vibration got stronger as the process progressed.

The vibration stopped.

"Yes!"

Suddenly, I found myself in a huge empty room, and a status screen appeared infringe of my eyes.

"It feels like the first time!" I smiled.

————

[Floor 2]

Name: //not given//

Size: 4000km x 4000km x 4000km --> multiplied by 40 due to [CS] --> 160,000km x 160,000km x 160,000km

Time: 2 times faster ---> multiplied by 40 due to [CS] ---> 80 times faster

Settings: none yet

[Creating]

[Gravity]

——————

"What the!"

"Is this normal? Double the time on the second floor."

"I need some information!"

"Speaking of which, I haven't received any information yet."

...

Since no information had come so far, I suspected that there were none for this level up. It was indeed strange since it was an evolution!

"Nevermind!"

I glanced at the information again.

"Incredible!" I exclaimed once more.

The size was unimaginable.

The volume of this space I was currently in was, let me think... 4,096,000,000,000,000 cubic kilometers.

„Incredible!"

"And what is this?"

[Gravity], that was a new icon. I clicked on it, and a new interface popped up.

—————

Gravity:

[Gravity Point]:

---> sets a point where gravity pulls everything towards

---> 9.81 m/s²1 [300 EC] (normal Earth gravity)

---> double gravity [600 EC]

---> triple gravity [900 EC]

[////locked////]

————

I ignored the locked Icon and focused on the other thing.

I could apparently set a point to create a planet-like floor.

I could deduce that, along with the initial size of the floor, which was already enormous, theoretically, I didn't need the gravity point because I could create a planet as large as Jupiter.

This should already have its own gravity.

However, since I didn't know how the rules of physics worked in the Dungeon, I decided it was safer to set a gravity point.

"Now I understand why the species is called 'World Dungeon!'"

I created a point with four times Earth's gravity for 1200 [EC].

After creating the gravity point, I felt the energy of the Dungeon changing around me.

It was as if the very space itself were pulsating, and I could almost feel the force of gravity around me.

For a change, I decided not to fly and noticed how I was slowly drawn towards the gravity point.

It was easily visible, a luminous sphere in the center of the room with a diameter of ten meters.

As I approached the gravity point, I felt the increasing intensity of gravitational attraction. It was as if invisible hands were gently pulling me towards the center.

When I reached the edge of the luminous sphere, I suddenly felt gravity four times stronger than what I was used to on Earth.

My body became heavier, and I could only move laboriously.

With adjusted gravity, I moved slowly towards the gravity point.

Reality seemed distorted around me.

I could see how spacetime was curved around the point, as if it were generating a miniature singularity.

Once I reached the point, I felt like I was standing on a tiny world. Gravity pulled me down, but I could still look up and examine the white ceiling.

I could envision creating mountains, seas, forests, and entire ecosystems on this mini-planet.

The possibilities seemed endless, I thought.

"Yippie!"

I exclaimed with genuine excitement, I have the rare feeling when a rush of dopamine floods your system.

"This is like that time when I found out I was going to the moon!" I said with joy in my voice.

"Oh man! Thinking about that night makes me think of the same night happenings. Not good!"

Since I had wandered into unpleasant thoughts, I refocused on the current situation.

Since I wanted to plan the planet, I decided to sketch it out first.

So, I went to the [Creation] icon first because I also wanted to see the properties of my third [CS].

"Speaking of which, isn't there a brief explanation in the status screen?"

I immediately accessed the status screen.

____________

Characteristics:

• Space (unique)

--> The first Floor is 20 times larger. With each Floor, the multiplication doubles. (Control Room is not affected)

--> Unique living beings, inanimate objects, etc.

—> the material you created is also multiplied

• Time (unique)

--> Time on the first Floor passes 20 times faster. With each Floor, the multiplication doubles. (Control Room is not affected)

--> Unique living beings, inanimate objects, etc.

—> [EC] earnings from the floor is also accelerated

• Consciousness

---> You can more easily create your own living beings. Cost is reduced greatly.

---> For these created beings, you can provide a soul/consciousness/status.

__________

"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm"

"Well, well, well."

I hadn't expected this. I thought I could create conscious beings right away.

"I would have searched for quite a while if I had started looking for conscious beings now!" I chuckled awkwardly.

Well, I thought, I have more creative freedom now and can create whatever I want

I thought about the [Living Beings] icon, and as always, it presented me with the choice between "Ready-Made Beings" and "Create Your Own" icons.

For the first time, I opened the latter, and a new interface appeared before me.

_________

[Mana Veins]

[Materials]

[Soulstone]

[Structure]

[Skills]

[Knowledge]

[Attributes]

...

____________

Since I didn't know what it looked like before, I was surprised by its simplicity.

„Is it because of the [CS]?"

There were many options to choose from, and I had to make a decision, and the new being would be displayed to me.

I opened one option and decided to postpone it since the whole thing wasn't exactly cheap.

The cheapest Mana Vein system, for example, cost 100 [EC].

So, I teleported back to the Control Room to plan.
