Chapter 2 - 23,000 Years of Silence

Chapter two

In that void where there was neither place nor time, a soul hung between two worlds. Kyle, the man who had left his body only a few hours ago, found himself in a state he had never experienced before. No pain, no light, no darkness. Just an absolute silence, calm and heavy, pressing on his soul as if trapped between impenetrable walls.

His mind was playing with endless questions: What comes next? Is there an end? Is this really death? Or just the beginning of something beyond comprehension?

Everything he knew, everything he suffered, seemed like a distant dream. He remembered the cold nights he spent alone, the betrayals, and the chill that accompanied him until the very end. But now, in that strange void, everything felt meaningless.

Time did not exist, yet Kyle felt it passing, unbearably slowly. He thought, trying to understand this new existence for which he was unprepared. He observed himself, as if looking from afar at a strange being—without a body, without feelings, without weight.

A deep silence suddenly shattered by an inner voice, a thought piercing the emptiness: "I don't want to die. Not like this."

But how can one resist without a body? How can one fight without blood flowing through veins? How can one achieve a goal from this cold place?

His soul searched for something— a glimmer of hope, a spark to bring it back to life. His mind was sharp, as always, analyzing everything around him, searching for a loophole, a way out.

An immeasurable amount of time passed, and faint sounds began to reach him—like a distant echo, weak pulses crossing the void.

Those sounds were different—not from this world, nor from that one. They carried a promise, a mystery, something he could not yet explain.

At that moment, he began to feel a strange change inside, something like a new body being born from nothing, something unseen but sensed.

His soul dragged itself toward that sound, toward that new life, toward a second chance.

In the depths of that silence was a childish cry, a cry never heard before—a cry of birth.

Then, suddenly, the silence burst with an inner explosion, as if something had begun—a new journey starting from zero.

Kyle did not yet know what awaited him, but he knew one thing: he would not be the same as before.

This is not the end of his story, but the beginning of a new chapter in a life that was never meant to be ordinary.
