Chapter 185 - A Shattered Vase, A Shattered Truth

The silent confession in Natalie's eyes ignited something primal within me. My vision narrowed, focusing solely on her smug face as she clung to Julian's arm. I couldn't breathe. Couldn't think. All I could see was Violet's face, pale and still on her deathbed, and Genevieve's kind eyes now forever closed.

Before I realized what was happening, my legs carried me forward. I moved like a woman possessed, storming down the hallway toward them.

"You evil, murdering bitch!" I screamed.

Julian and Natalie turned, startled by my outburst. Julian's eyes widened in shock, but Natalie's held a gleam of satisfaction. She'd wanted this—wanted me to break.

"Aurelia, stop!" Julian commanded, stepping between us.

I ignored him, my gaze fixed on Natalie. "You killed her. You killed Genevieve just like you killed my daughter!"
