Chapter 126 - Shattered Bonds and an Alpha's Collision

Julian's mouth was crushing against mine, his lips demanding submission. I pushed against his chest with all my strength, my body rigid with revulsion. This wasn't passion—this was possession, pure and simple.

"Stop it!" I gasped when I managed to break free, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. "Get off me!"

His amber eyes glowed with primal intensity in the dim light of the car. "Your body remembers me, Aurelia. Your wolf can't deny me."

"Watch me," I spat, pressing myself against the door to create distance between us.

Julian's nostrils flared. Something in his expression changed—confusion, then panic. He reached for me again, this time grabbing my wrist and yanking me closer.

"What have you done?" he growled. "Why isn't your wolf submitting?"

The realization hit us both simultaneously. My wolf, once pathetically yearning for his attention, now stood firm within me. There was no flutter of desire, no instinctive yielding to his Alpha presence. Only disgust and rage.
