Chapter 115 - A Mate's Plea Amidst the Claws

The impact drove the air from my lungs as my back slammed against the ground. My wings crumpled beneath me, the delicate bone structures cracking under the weight of the massive Lycan pinning me down.

Those savage claws tightened around my throat, each finger a vise of fury and muscle. I struggled, my own claws scraping desperately against his forearms, drawing thick rivulets of blood that did nothing to loosen his grip.

"Landon, please," I choked out, my voice barely a whisper. My vision blurred as those gray eyes—now blazing crimson with rage—stared down at me, devoid of recognition.

This wasn't Vincent.

It had never been Vincent.

My memories crashed back like a tidal wave—Landon rushing into battle, the flash of blinding light, and then... this. My mate, transformed into my executioner.
