Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Fu Siyan has a cold temperament—when he said he would throw someone out, he wasn't joking.

Su Jin didn't want to provoke him, so she quickly got dressed.

Her figure was well-proportioned, her curves soft and graceful.

She was slender in all the right places—so perfect that even women would envy her.

But there was no trace of desire in Fu Siyan's eyes.

He merely watched her dress, then tilted his resolute chin toward the door and coldly spat out a single word:

"Get out."

He stood there like a king above all—imposing, untouchable, commanding awe.

Su Jin suppressed the excitement in her heart, nodded gently, and whispered a soft "thank you" before walking toward the door.

Just as she reached it, voices rang out from the hallway—loud, angry, and familiar.

"What? She really did something like that?"

It was her father—Su Mingyuan.

At the sound of his voice, a rush of bitter resentment welled up inside Su Jin.

In her past life, she had trusted Su Mingyuan with all her heart, truly treating him as her father.

But what had she received in return?

Lies. Deception. Betrayal.

All that so-called fatherly love…

It had all been fake.

Su Mingyuan only wanted to drain her dry—to exploit her talent for the benefit of the Su family.

He had never loved her, only used her.

This time… I won't be fooled again.

Beside Su Mingyuan stood Su Jin's adoptive mother, who was stoking the fire with false concern.

"Someone saw it with their own eyes. Would they lie about something like this?"

As she spoke, she exchanged a sly glance with Su Nuo.

Su Nuo caught the cue and added sweetly,

"My sister only drank a little wine… but to shamelessly check into a hotel room with a man—how could that be a misunderstanding?"

"What's there to misunderstand?" someone scoffed.

"People saw the Third Miss go into a room with a man just now."

"Break down the door!" Su Mingyuan's face was pale with fury as he barked the order.

Inside the room, Su Jin stood quietly behind the door, her eyes cold and steady.

If she walked out now and was seen together with Fu Siyan, it would only add fuel to the fire—another stain on her name.

While she was still hesitating, a deep voice came from behind her.

"You're not leaving?"

Su Jin startled and turned around—only to find herself face-to-face with Fu Siyan.

His chiseled face was so close.

Deep, unreadable eyes.

A sharp, straight nose.

Thin, tightly pressed lips.

The heat of his breath brushed her skin.

Her mind went blank for a moment.

She stood frozen, unsure whether to move or stay.

And just as she struggled with indecision—bang!

The door burst open.

The force of it sent Su Jin stumbling—straight into Fu Siyan's arms.

"Oh my god! The Third Miss is fooling around with a man!" someone gasped with glee, eager to cause trouble.

But the moment their eyes adjusted to the man standing there, the mocking smile froze on their lips—replaced by horror.

No one had expected the man in the room… would be Fu Siyan.

Fu Siyan—the man who stood at the top of the social pyramid in City A.

A man of immense power, prestige, and wealth.

He was the one countless women dreamed of loving.

The man everyone feared, envied, and revered.

To call him a "random man"?

That was utter foolishness.

"Is this the so-called wild man you were talking about?" Su Mingyuan lowered his voice, glaring sharply at Gu Xiangyun.

His expression twisted with humiliation and barely suppressed rage.

Gu Xiangyun was completely stunned. This was supposed to be Su Jin caught red-handed with some random man—how had that man turned out to be Fu Siyan?

She exchanged a quick glance with Su Nuo, confusion flickering in both their eyes.

Su Nuo's expression twisted with disbelief.

How could this be?

The entire thing had been planned down to the last detail… so how did Su Jin come out of it with even more prestige?

Trying to regain control of the situation, Su Nuo was the first to break the silence. Her voice was loud, innocent, and tinged with just the right amount of concern:

"Sister, why… why are you even changing clothes in Mr. Fu's room?"

Her words instantly drew everyone's attention back to Su Jin.

Sure enough, their eyes narrowed as they noticed she was wearing a different skirt—and not just that. There were faint, suspicious red marks on her neck.

That alone was enough to stir imaginations.

The implication was clear: a man and woman, alone in a room, with her clothes changed and visible marks on her skin…

Even if Su Jin hadn't done anything inappropriate, the scene painted its own story.

Whispers rippled through the crowd.

Judgmental gazes sliced through her like knives—accusing, mocking, unforgiving.

Sneers curled on lips. Jokes were exchanged in low voices.

They were watching her fall—waiting eagerly to see her humiliated again.
