Chapter 13 - The Seal That Should Never Break

Far, far away from the known worlds, beyond the last galaxy and the edge of reality, there floated something terrifying.

Not a planet.

Not a star.

It was a prison—an ancient, forgotten seal that even gods no longer dared to speak of.

It looked like a giant sphere made of golden chains, glowing with symbols from countless languages—magic, divine, time, fate, and space itself.

Inside that sphere was something alive.

Something that should never have existed.

Thousands of years ago, during the Age of Chaos, when the universe was still young and many realms were at war, a powerful being came from the Outer Dimension.

That being did not speak.

It did not rest.

It did not feel.

It only devoured.

Planets, stars, laws of reality—nothing survived when it arrived.

That monster was known only as "The Hunger."

Many tried to stop it. Even powerful gods and rulers of the higher realms failed.

But one man succeeded Zayn, the Star Sovereign.

Using his final divine magic, Zayn trapped the creature in a cage that fed on the rules of the universe itself. A seal that could never be broken—unless someone very foolish or very evil tried to break it from the outside.

Now, something had changed.

Cracks had begun to appear on that golden cage.

Tiny ones. Barely visible.

But to someone like Zayn... they were as loud as thunder.

Inside the Star Sovereign's Domain

Zayn sat silently on his throne made of shining stars.

He didn't move.

But in his heart, a shadow stirred.

He opened his eyes.

Instantly, the entire sky inside the realm trembled.

The stars blinked. Time paused. Even the divine birds stopped singing.

The moment Zayn looked toward the edge of the universe; the spirits of his realm appeared beside him.

One of them, Aruna—the Spirit of the Sky—spoke softly:

"My lord... the seal... it is weakening."

Zayn closed his eyes again, his voice calm.

"I know."

"Should we act? Should we reinforce it before it grows worse?"

Zayn shook his head slowly.

"No. If we touch it now, the balance may collapse. The hunger is sleeping. If it senses me, it might awaken."

"But what if it wakes up anyway?" she asked.

Zayn looked at her with quiet eyes that had seen the beginning and end of countless stars.

"Then I will do what I must."

Zayn never wanted to interfere in the lower realms again. He had already left everything behind—his name, his powers, his war, and even... his past.

But some threats were too great to ignore.

The creature inside the prison didn't just destroy worlds.

It ate fate.

In the Mortal World – Lina's Journey Begins

Lina Starfall didn't know any of this.

She was just a girl with a glowing pendant, walking north across grassy plains under a moonlit sky.

The star fragment on her neck had started glowing last night.

It whispered in a voice that only she could hear.

"North... follow the path of light."

So she left her home.

No one stopped her.

Maybe the world itself had agreed it was time.

As she walked, the world reacted.

The birds flew away from their nests.

The skies flickered with distant flashes of purple lightning.

Even animals that had never seen a human began to hide deep underground.

They all felt it.

Something old… something wrong… had moved.

And somewhere in her small heart, Lina felt it too.

She didn't know why, but tears rolled down her cheeks as she walked. She wasn't sad. She wasn't scared.

But something was calling to her.

Calling to the girl who carried a piece of the stars.

Elsewhere – Evil Awakens

Far across the seas and behind shattered mountains, deep under the ruins of the Old Magic Empire, a man in a black robe opened his eyes.

He had been meditating in darkness for centuries.

Before him floated a dark crystal orb.

And inside it?

Zayn.

The Star Sovereign, sitting on his throne, watching the universe.

The man smiled coldly.

"So, you still live... old monster."

Behind him, many other figures stood. They were all dressed in black. Hooded. Silent.

An entire army.

Their leader turned toward them.

"The prophecy is real. The seal is breaking. Soon, the hunger will rise again. And so shall we."

He raised his hand.

A dark symbol appeared in the air—a twisted star with five burning eyes.

The hooded army bowed.

"Hail the Dark Star Cult!"

"Hail the End!"

Back in the Sky Realm

Zayn stood at the edge of the divine platform.

He stared into the sky, past time, past dimensions.

And whispered to himself:

"Lina… I hope you are ready."

Behind him, a massive book floated in the air.

The Book of Fate.

One page turned slowly.

A new line appeared.

"The seal cracks. The stars shift. Destiny changes."
